Quote:
There is a vast expanse of parking lot, and a large population of undying. There are also, strange portals set up. They are discoloured, purple instead of the usual orange (Halloween) or blue (Deus) portals. Do you really want to go into one?

If you do go into a portal, because either you are incredibly bored or just like Touching Things, you end up in a strange world covered in vines. The deeper you walk, the greener everything gets. At the very end is the victim and they are conscious within this dream. You can interact with your victim (ONLY YOURS) but you CANNOT USE ANY FORM OF LANGUAGE (including sign/morse/written/ etc), it seems like something is mentally blocking the ability to use language, and you can only gesture. The dream ends when you are ready to "conclude" it and you are kicked out of the portal. The victim is still unconscious in reality.

THIS PROMPT CAN ONLY BE DONE SOLO.

That was a portal.

It was discolored, purple instead of the normal blue, but it was still a portal. She just didn't know why it was purple, but she was very curious. It probably wouldn't hurt her if she went through it, and maybe it'd lead to where they were supposed to go.

She shouldn't go. It was a bad idea, but there wasn't anybody around to tell her not to, and so Autumn entered the portal.

It didn't lead home. Instead she had found a strange world, a strange vine filled world. It was so green, and as she walked deeper in, things became even greener. It was almost an unrealistic green.

And then she saw him. 31. He was awake, and in here. Was he trapped? Was this his soul? Was she in some sort of mindscape? Meh, she'd leave the questions for the people who were more interested in research. She waved at him, and he waved back, a confused look on his face. It was clear that he didn't know anymore than she did, and she kind of wanted to give him a hug.

"I'm Autumn," she tried to say, but it came out in gibberish. "I was part of the rescue party" Still gibberish. Huh. That was odd. Could she write it down? She checked her pockets, but she had neither paper nor a pen, and it didn't look like there was anything else around to write with. Okay. Um. Hmm.

Maybe sign language? That'd be helpful if she knew it, but she didn't. So much for that idea. There was so much she wanted to ask, to learn about him. Who he was, how long he had been out here, was he okay?

She smiled at him, and then had a brilliant idea. Charades. She wasn't the best at it, and she had no idea if he was any good either, but maybe it would work. She waved at him again to get his attention, and then held up two fingers. Two words. She pointed at him and then gave him a thumbs up. He tilted his head, and she thought he was thinking, and then he rubbed his stomach, but gave her a thumbs up anyway.

That was good? Okay, that probably meant that he was hungry, but okay. Hmm. She nodded to him. She had noticed that he didn't have any food in his bag, and since she didn't know how long he had been out here, it was entirely likely that he could be hungry. Maybe she could find some food for him.

Before she could try to ask him anything else, before she could think of any other gestures that might translate to where, to how he was doing, she was pulled out of the portal.

Thankfully, she came out the same place she went in, and she stared at the portal again. She wanted to know more, but at the same time, didn't want to admit to anyone she had gone in. It had been a dumb idea, but maybe it had been worth it.
