Mea was ecstatic to find her human, particularly because his brown hair had gotten frizzed from the trauma and it reminded her of her own fur when it it got messed up. She was poking and prodding it. Somehow sleeping like that he reminded her of a minipet, like some of her own.
"C'mon fluffy!" She cried with a bounce and shook him. There was no movement and the man slumped back over and she looked at him again, particularly eyeing his stomach area. "Hmm..." She sniffed at him again. Mouryou were particularly good at finding good livers, but something was off. It curled her nose again and she sighed a little, her bounce going out of her for just that moment.
"Alcohol." She muttered. The smell was sure there as would be the taste but she shook her head. "Guess you go back with all your pieces!" Her mouth said it but her stomach whined and she pushed at the man. She groaned and struggled as her small petite frame tried to move the larger human. He looked average size but for her that was a big difference.
"Ooof." They'd made it about a few inches. "Jeez you're kinda fat." Mea giggled and pushed his leg with her boot. "I wonder if you like eating like me." It was strange to think she was akin to a human, but it was ignoring the problem.
"Okay!" She bounced back to his head and grabbed it, and his fluffy hair, yanking it and they started to move slowly. "I really like that candy stuff in your world you know." There was a hum as she kept heaving, having to start and stop several times. At least she wasn't far from the portal. "And some of that weird stuff you do to animals, but raw is fine too." Mea giggled and kept pulling him. "Sauces though, those are good!" Her stomach whined angrily.
"But it's not the same for me. I don't HAVE to eat. I just really like it!" She bounced a bit and accidentally dropped his head. "Whoopsie!" Mea grabbed and pulled again. "You might have a headache when you wake up."
Despite her bouncing, humming and giggles the man was becoming more and more heavy as the moments ticked by. She would let out a grunt in the middle of humming as she moved. Were humans always this heavy? It was a struggle as the Monster ghoul continued until she fell next to the portal, shaking her head and looking at it.
"Okay fluffy, time to get you home to fix your headache and maybe spinal injuiry!" She had been pulling on his head after all.

It was a little heave and a little ho but the petite ghoul managed to push "Fluffy" into the portal and bounced in after him, still a little sore from dragging him, even if it was just a short ways to go.
"Did I do something wrong?" The rabbit ghoul twitched her hears and her head, looking down a long stretch of road and into the distance. Clearly this wasn't safe, as the middle of a road usually had cars going through it. There didn't seem to be any though and her eyes the tall skyscraper that was... shattered? Didn't humans usually take care of their cities. Something about it hurt and she turned her attention back to Fluffy.
"...."
The small ghoul was nothing compared to the huge horse and she backed away, grabbing her human's hair again. It unnerved her mostly because it was horrendously familiar. Something in her body moved at the sight of the vines. A memory existed somewhere in her mind of vines wrapped around her body and inside of it. Sometimes a flower would STILL appear despite it being so long.
When they began to move towards her she lept away from it, staring at it but it hurt so bad. "Hnn!" She grabbed her ears and yanked on them from the sensation of the voice in her head. "Fear..." The normally bubbly attitude melted as the tendrils moved towards her. Images hit her mind and she yanked Kaethus's hair back. Were those... others from Halloween?
"NONONONONO!" She shouted and grabbed Fluffy up in her hands and turned back from it. She bounded along quickly into a sprint away from it, feeling it at her heels.
GO GO GO!
It was screaming inside but she could hear the mass of the screams behind her. Mindless, formless and the horse monster feeding it with anger. Her heart pounded tirelessly as she continued.

[CAR ROLL]
Despite her frantic running she didn't feel at all safe. And with Fluffy over her head she wasn't even sure if all of his limbs were still attached. Behind her she could hear it and her ears were bouncing as the earth did under her. "Hnnn..." She slid to a stop near a pile of vehicles. "What's this thing?"
Quickly she approached a motorbike and stared. "No time!" She grabbed Fluffy's hands and tied them around herself with her headband. "Hold on!" Thankfully the keys were in the vehicle and she puttered off quickly.
"ONWARD!" She roared with her voice, as much as she could, as they slowly started moving away from the beast.

[ESCAPE ROLL 1 - 3km]
Wind was blowing through her hair and she had to make sure her human, though slumped over on top of her, was still secured by his hands. "Stay with me Fluffy!" She called as they continued to move through the highway. It was a sense that she had that she was heading the right direction.
But that was shattered when the vines hit the little motorbike and it swerved, the back dented in and she shoved her foot down on the gas to get away. They'd both gotten slapped in the middle of it though and she shook her hair to get some off of her. If only everything could be solved by eating it then she could easily get out of it.

[ESCAPE ROLL 2 - 6km]
There was a little putter as it took off again and she avoided a few things on the road. She dared not turn around but she could hear the gallop behind her and the thunder hitting the road as it continued forward after her. It was rare that she stayed serious for this long but it wasn't the time for her normally bubbly attitude at all, though she was pouting still.
Again the vines shot out and she felt a sharp pain as it tried to grab the entire vehicle and she swerved again, nearly dropping the human. "Come back fluffy!" She grabbed hold of him as they moved, but it was hard to steer with one hand. "Whoops!" There was a bump as they continued. She still had to get her human back though. "Come on human thing!" She kicked the bike and they continued. It was so close now she could nearly taste it.
If she knew what portals tasted like, that was.

They had to skid to a stop since Mea could barely reach the ground to get it to stop and they tumbled. "Hnnn..." Mea twitched and turned back to her human. "Look Fluffy! You're almost safe and sound!" She grabbed onto an arm and began to drag him, looking behind them to see if the beast had gone. Was it finally gone for good? Was it going to leave them alone?
Mea took in a deep breath and smiled at the portal. "Good to see you!" And took a few hops with Kaethus's hand in hers.

Finally they were there and Mea felt her heart filling with pride as she saw the portal. 7 more steps... 6... It was almost over, everything was almost over. Then she could go home and eat away the strangeness of the place. 4 steps. It was there, it was right there!
A hand slapped up at her hands and she turned back. "Fluffy?!" The man was awake, or partially awake at least. His arms moved and grabbed around her and she tried to yank against him. "Fluffy let go, you don't know what you're doing!" She felt herself pulled and she fell, her petite frame wasn't enough to keep him at bay, at least with her strength sapped away.
"Hn!" She stared as he tried to crawl away and she grabbed onto him and pulled him back. "Not that way!" There was no point in trying to talk to the human though, he wouldn't listen and thrashed around while yelling something unintelligible. Mea tried her best to grab hold and keep him, trying to yank him. If he thrashed through the portal that was his own decision after all.
Yet still he persisted against her and she got back up, pulling at him again and then jumping on his head so it hit the ground. She panted and shook her head, grabbing his leg and turning to toss him into it.
"What in Jack's name?"
Mea was stunned to find the portal was completely gone. Another twitch in her ears and she glared down. "Bad Fluffy!" She frowned and shook her head. There wasn't much for it, though she was annoyed, and she shrugged her shoulders. Surely those back home were trying to get them all back, right?
