Fakemon Giveaway!
In light of the Fakemon Contest coming to a close and in commemoration of the new entries being put into the Fakedex, P:ER is holding a giveaway to release the new additions to the guild, along with preexisting fakemon~
However, before we get to that just yet, there are going to be a few changes to Fakemon and future fakemon contests that we would like to address here.
Up until this point it has somewhat been an unspoken rule that fakemon are only available during these giveaways, however there are several people who would like to make their creations available to anyone, any time, and in leu of this, starting from today and onward, all winning fakemon will be sorted into one of three catagories, Limited Fakemon, Common Fakemon, and Prerequisite Fakemon. Limited Fakemon will sometimes be available to claim during special events such as this giveaway, and anyone who wishes to claim them must have the creator's permission to have. Common Fakemon and Prerequisite Fakemon will be available outside of giveaways to anyone who checks in with the creator. The difference between these last two categories is that Common Fakemon can be given out any time after checking in with the creator, and appear before a trainer at level 5. These pokemon are to be captured, not battled for exp, much like a horoscope claim pokemon. Prerequisite Fakemon are available outside of giveaways, but require an item to post for in order to obtain the fakemon, and you must check in with that fakemon's creator before starting to post for said item. For instance, Flurry will be a Limited Fakemon, Aklor will be a Common Fakemon, and Meleeon would be a Prerequisite Fakemon.
For future Fakemon contestants and participants, please note that if you classify your Fakemon as a common or prerequisite, you cannot deny anyone who asks for your fakemon. If you would like to keep your fakemon limited, then it must be classified as such. These two classifications are strictly for those who would like their fakemon to be given away simply to anyone who wants one.
There are a few other major changes that will take place for future fakemon contests;
-The winners of every fakemon contest must sit out the next contest before they can compete again. For instance, the winners of the first fakemon contest did not participate in this contest, but they will be able to participate in the next contest. The winners of this fakemon contest will not be allowed to participate in the next contest, but they will be able to participate in the one after that, and so on. Though the rule has been quietly enforced in this contest, we are making it an official rule.
-Once a member has three Fakemon added to the Fakedex, they will be restricted from entering any further contests. However, if there are five entries or fewer in any contest by the end of the submission period, the deadline will be extended for one week, and any members with three winning fakemon will be allowed to participate. This will give other members who haven't placed in a fakemon contest yet a chance to win, and provide some variation among the winners.
-The official fakemon contest will be held annually, with the submission period starting every year on July 1st, end on July 31st, and the judging period will start and end based on how many entries are submitted.
Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for; It's time for the Fakemon Giveaway!
All members may post here and claim a level 5 Fakemon of choice at their first stage, with the creator's permission, of course. However, if you wish to forgo the claiming of a fakemon, you may instead claim a level 10 pokemon of choice as long as the pokemon of choice is in the first stage of it's evolutionary line. This event will be open from September 29th to the end of October 13th. You must post in this thread with what you would like to claim, or what claims you're pending.
