Bugger. The human Sio found was taller than her. & heavier too, when she tried picking the human up. Thankfully her tail is strong enough to hold up the human. Sio hasn't wonder too far from the portal, barely 2 yards. Turning around after a final check to ensure she didn't miss anything, she heads back to the portal.
Finally in front of the portal, Sio shifted the human so she was leaning against her back, hands slung on either side of her neck as Sio step forward into the portal. Another step deposits both of them back onto ground, unfortunately not anywhere safe & definitely not back to where Sio started.
Instead, it seems like they have landed somewhere on a long stretch of highway. There is a very tall skyscraper next to them, covered entirely in vines, though the top of the skyscraper seems to have shattered. Turning around, Sio almost scream as she comes face to face with a ridiculously tall creature made of ??? and vines.
Sio jerked as she felt something touch her mind, whispering. It hurts, and nearly causes her to lose consciousness. The human fell with a thunk from Sio's loosen grip. The horror of what Sio saw snapped her out of it, as she rapidly turns around, snagging the human before opening her wings to gain more distance from that THING!
Sio tries to fly higher, away from the creature. The overwhelming crushing nausea from that creature chasing her & her cargo stops her from escaping that way. Sio also notice her wings & tail have increase in size, way beyond what the skull pin she was recently given will have let.

Flying as fast as she can, Sio took another look around. Just then, the skyscraper, heck, the entire city bursts into vines. This is bad. Like, super bad. Why did you join this again?!
Eventually, Sio reach a long empty expanse of highway with nowhere to hide. The fog thickens again, forcing Sio to land, as the leeching effect got even worse. Sio hurriedly looks around for somewhere to hide before that thing shows up.
Sio found a car, dragging the human with her as she hunkers down behind the vehicle. While shifting around next to the door, it clicked open. Sio noticed the car keys are slotted in the ignition. Oh, might as well. Maybe the car will be faster.
2: A really cool car that has rust and looks actually like a car from Halloween! Too bad it is so slow. (SPEED VALUE +2)

After dumping the human in the back seat, Sio turning the car key. With a soft rumble, the car engine ignites. Randomly pushing the peddles start the car forward. With a few more moments of testing, the car can now drive smoothly. So long as she doesn't turn- *SLAM* Holy s**t! The horse is back!

Finally! After some ridiculous maneuvering Sio was sure was going to kill them, they manage to escape the horse thing. Shifting the Human onto her back again, Sio heads to the portal she had stop the car nearby.
Sio jerks, so close to the portal, as the human suddenly awakes & jam her elbows into her back. Sio throws her off her back, only to have to shield herself from the human's startlingly high strength brought to bear on her. Sio manage to knock her out with a well timed tail swish, but a dismay look at where the portal was show that it is no longer there. Damn it all.

Honestly, what was that for?! Damn, she is unconscious again, no answers from there. *crackle* Huh? Sio search around, finally unearthing a radio. She can hear voices from it, familiar voices. The other volunteers! Perhaps they know what is going on?
