[ STEP 2 ]
Unable to find any identification on the civilian, save the card key she had in her bag, she instead pulled out the radio, examining it. "Heh." Well, at least that might come in handy, even if she had her own headset.
Propping up the red headed girl, Kat grabbed at her face, turning it left and right to inspect the blood that apparently came from their eyes. "Hmm.. Hey. Hey you! Can you hear me at all?" poking and prodding didn't appear to help, nor did her snapping her fingers in front of the girls face. Whoever this person was, she was out cold and didn't appear to be waking any time soon.
"Well..if I need to get you back to the portal, I guess we're going to have to do this the hard way."
Luckily, she was sure she had only gone a couple of yards, so carrying the girl wouldn't be too bad. Kat wasn't exactly weak, even with the fog sapping her strength, and the woman didn't look particularly heavy. It was probably going to take some time, but she was sure she could make it back in time.
Scooping the girl up, she then tossed her over one shoulder, swaying a little before catching her balance again.
"Okay! Lets go!"
Making it through the city, it took a long while and a lot of effort to make it to the portal. Luckily, when it finally came in to view, the blonde haired woman booked it the last leg, setting the other woman down and pushing her through the portal before following through herself.

[ STEP 3 ]
Stepping out from the portal, Kat was somewhat unamused to find that she and the person brought along had not ended up anywhere she had planned. "Great. Now what?" Scratching at the back of her neck in irritation, she cast a glance at the red head, still not happy to find that she was still out. Was she really going to have to keep carrying her? It was getting old fast.
Taking note of her surroundings, she looked at the highway, turning to see what appeared to be a tall sky scraper. The large building looked to be completely smothered by vines. The same vines as she had seen before? Unable to look at it long, she turned away and moved to gather up the girl.
The ground shook, causing Kat to pause in her movements. "Oh.. that can't be good..!"
Spinning around, she was surprised to find something coming towards her. Something big and fast. "What the HELL is that!?"
Kat's vision blurred, hearing the voices of it in her head as well as and overwhelmingly amount images which made her struggle to focus.
"Ughh, get out of my head!"
:Stay focused Kat! Don't lose your cool!:
Oh yeah, very helpful, Xedis! In an instant, her weapons were summoned, as she aimed her guns at the large abomination. "Eat this, a*****e!" Squeezing the triggers, her guns set off a blast, causing the creature to halt in it's advance.

[ Kat Successfully fended off the boss ]
"Hahahahah! Serves you right!" Oh yes! Her life was possibly very much in danger, as was the survivor's, but oh- this was fun!

Tch. Spoil sport.
Buying a little time, Kat made a grab for the girl and ran towards the hospital, not stopping to check behind her as she ran.

[ STEP 4 ]
Frustrated to find no working cars, or at least none with the car keys still in them, Kat came across one vehicle in particular that did. "Oh.. you have got to be joking!"
[ Kat found a Vespa ]
"This? This is what I get to work with? How the hell-" The rant would have continued if the horse hadn't been making its grand return, to which it was probably even more pissed for being shot by her. "Crap!" Setting the girl down on the vehicle, Kat strapped a certain small green figurine which was sporting some barbie sun glasses, to the front of the Vespa.
Pulling down her goggles to sit over her eyes, she sported a large grin, climbing on to the pitiful ride. "Okay, its this or nothing!" Turning the key, she was pleased to find that at least had the decency to work before speeding away.

While on the road, she watched another (cough cough, Ryan), much faster car speed past her. Who it was, she had no idea, but it pissed her off none the less. As the they sped away, Kat flipped them off, commenting on what kind of a*****e wouldn't stop to assist them in this kind of situation.
Honestly! The nerve of some people!

While driving, Kat glanced over her shoulder, moving her goggles to rest atop her head, and not surprised to see the damn thing gaining on her. At this rate, it might have been faster to ditch the vehicle and start running! But then, taking into account that she would have to carry the unconscious woman all the way, she thought better of it.
Bracing for impact, she was thankful that the entire Vespa didn't topple over, but it did, however nearly send her flying off the road. "s**t!" Trying her best to steady the vehicle, Kat stuck her leg out to keep them from falling off.
Safe again for the moment, the sun hunter sped up again, trying to lose the creature.

Slowly, her Vespa began to gain speed, but it wasn't enough to dodge the oncoming attack from the large creature which was slowly gaining on them.
Nearly spinning off the road for a second time, Kat regained control and continued on. "Come ooon!" With the vehicle picking up more speed as they drove, the Sun hunter let out a sigh of relief as it began to fall behind. They were almost safe. For the moment, anyways.

Finally gaining what she assumed was the max speed of this crap mobile, it was safe to assume that they had just barely made it out of the range of the fifty foot creature.
"Well, that's more like it."
For the moment, even though pressed for time, she was able to just sit, relax and enjoy the drive.

[ STEP 5 ]
With the second portal in sight, Kat drove the vehicle up as close as possible before it rolled to a stop. Hopping off, she untied the tiny green figurine from the front of the Vespa, tucking it away again in her bag, as she now then turned her attention back to the other girl.
Pulling her off, she started dragging her over to the portal, preparing to push her through. Though, when said girl woke up, the Sun Hunter wasn't exactly expecting a fight.
Her arm was grabbed, and the red headed girl completely lost it, she was kicking, flailing, doing everything she could to attack her. "He- Hey! I'm- OW! I'm trying to help you!" Unable to get through to her, she had no choice but to knock the woman out again. A swift swipe to the back of the neck did just that.
Checking her over to make sure she was okay, Kat then tried AGAIN to shove her through the portal, only..
"Eh..?
She blinked.
"EHHHHHHHHHH?! The portal is closed?? Mark! I swear, if you're the one who ******** closed it on me, Hulk Jr is coming back in pieces!" She shouted, adding a few more curses to the rant.
For crying out loud! She was right in front of it! They couldn't have held it open for two more seconds!?
A glare was shot at the unconscious girl, while Kat's hands clenched into fists. "********!" She was stuck here. They warned her this could happen, but damn.. she didn't expect it to actually happen!
