Olivia was unaware of exactly how far she had gotten from the portal, not that it would have made much difference to inform her. Numbers wouldn't have mattered much to her, any distance she wouldn't have actually minded and really the fog was much too thick to tell anyways.

Right now what mattered was what she was supposed to do with the human at her feet. Which the ghoul had sort of forgotten during her wanderings. Olivia pulled out her pamphlet from one of the pockets from her skirt and read it for about the umpteenth time.

Find a Human! She glanced down at the squishy looking creature splayed out on the ground unconscious. Well, step one was completed.

Hug it! That seemed delightful, Olivia's eyes lit up at the instruction and instantly went down to her knees to wrap her arms around the human ghoul's shoulders. It was a little awkward with the human unresponsive on the ground like she was and lifting her to complete the embrace proved to be a struggle. Were all humans this heavy? Usually the wight had little to no problem lifting objects that were much too large for her size but the human ghoul proved to be a challenge. Perhaps it was some sort of weird thing with them or perhaps it was just this one? She wasn't very skinny.

"I will figure out how to help you anyways!" Olivia declared happily. Perhaps she could find something to drag the human ghoul on. Or maybe she had something useful on her already. The wight began to search her person's, digging into pockets and looking under a few layers of her clothing.

One object she did find was the radio, which she promptly dropped on the ground after pressing a few of the buttons. Voices suddenly sprung from it. Like a skellyphone, but not.. since she hadn't actually called anyone. Olivia pressed the button a few more times and attempted a response and a few words before she placed it back in her own pocket. (She would play with it more later).

No other luck in the rest of the human ghoul's belongings seemed like they would aid her in the rescue, so Olivia opted to maybe just trying her best to carry the human. It would be a little slower, but maybe she could manage it. It wasn't like she was too much taller than the wight. Just wider and well, heavier. A challenge!

Olivia put on her determined face once more and wrapped an arm around the human's waist, grabbed an arm and began to slowly make her way... to where she figured was the direction of the portal.

The distance, once she realized just how far she had actually gotten away from the big shining thing, didn't seem to terrible what she had to stumble there with. Even for the undead, the human began to strain on her limbs and once she managed to navigate through the fog back to the portal, she honestly plopped the body at the foot of it. She sadly wasn't very gentle with the landing and used her foot to roll the human ghoul's body through the vortex before hopping through it herself.

Where they ended up was not where she had imagined them to end up - not that she had any actual expectations on their final location. But it didn't seem entirely correct really. It almost seemed a little worse and Olivia's lips pursed up in concern as she looked around. It looks like a very deserted stretch of road, cars piled as well as it had been before but different. The buildings surrounding it had very strange - though, oddly pretty - vines creeping along them. She would have wanted to touch them if it weren't for the weird feeling she was getting in her head.

Maybe don't approach them... just yet.

Olivia was reaching for the human's girls shoulder once more when she felt the shaking all around her. Her eyes darted to her feet at first, wondering if something was coming up before she looked behind her and saw the very large creature. Like really large.

"Efflo?" Her first thought. It reminded her so much of her fellow undead friend but... that was much too large to be the boil. Much too large and covered in weird substances - unless, was this what happened to him? She hadn't seen him in a while.

No. It couldn't be him. He would never do something like this. Olivia took a step backwards, even with how intriguing the creature was. "What are you?" She wouldn't get an answer in the simplest of sense, nothing direct it would seem. Small tendrils began to crawl from the creature as it loomed over head. She could hear their whispers, she could hear their threat. They felt heavy and overwhelming and she staggered on her feet.

We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.

"Th-that's not nice!" She yelled into the silence, trying to push the voices from her thoughts with a shake of her head. Not like it was working, they still kept coming, the tendrils kept coming towards her. They felt so wrong, they felt like Fear and Olivia couldn't help but feel sorry for them. They all seemed like they used to be something, someone before they had been taken. It was so sad!

"Stop it!" She weakly tried to repel the objects coming towards her and the human on the ground, which she was now standing in front of.

"No, stop it!" Olivia slapped a few more of the hand like vines away from her, breaking a few of them in the process - it seemed so awful to do so, but this was survival after all.

"You can't have me, I like me! And you can't have her! I have to save her!"

More of them tried to come after her as she stood her ground, it was about the only pieces of the large horse creature that she could fight as she was unable to really get any closer to it. (And besides, he was huge! How was she expected to punch it).

She slammed her fists into a few more of the hands that tried to grab at her, kicked one that tried to reach around to the human behind her instead. All while shouting discouraging words to them, "that's not nice!" A few of them broke upon contact, many of them just felt awful to the touch but slowly they just stopped coming.

With the lull in attack, Olivia considered finally getting away from there. And what was more, she actually felt a little more like herself. Maybe it was from throwing a few punches. Or maybe, a little more logically, it was because of the absence of the fog. Not that she tried to figure it out at all, being her. The ghoul turned about quickly and grabbed onto the human's shoulders, finding it much easier to do so, and pulled her up. It was awkward, like the last time but the small wight managed to situate herself to have the human on her back.

It was finally then, more settled, that she began to run away.

The vines seemed to have a similar idea.

Olivia wasn't sure how long they had been running, or at least how long she had been running. All she knew that the buildings all around her were splintering apart, breaking as those weird vines forced their way and overtook what was left of the city and the highway.

The fog was also beginning to encompass the pair of them, slowing Olivia down and hindering her once again in her rescue attempt. She could feel her strength start to wan and soon she slowed to a sort of crawl as before. This was apparently not going to do and it made her a little sad - she had been doing so well! And trying to hide didn't seem like an option.

The wight took a moment to look all around her, trying to figure out if there was something she could grab onto to help them. Like a bike or something but she then noticed the weird vehicles. Oh hey, they were like smaller buses! She knew how to ride those.... wait.. no.. there was no one to driver her, she realized. She'd have to do it.

Well, maybe that could be a little fun! Her parents had never really taught her how to do it, they didn't own a car after all and her whole family relied on public transportation.

How hard could it be?

Locating the closest one to her, a big weird looking box one that seemed maybe a bit too big for her. But she punched the window to unlock it all the same and proceeding to open all the other doors so she could put her human somewhere.

Keys usually started these things, she hummed and began to look around for something. They were quickly found behind the little flippy thing attached to the roof and then stuck into the ignition. Olivia had no time to adjust the seat, sadly, and had to stretch a little to reach the pedals.

Progress at first was slow. Olivia didn't realize she had the parking break still on - didn't even take it off, wouldn't have if she noticed. Not like she knew the difference. But the thing did go.

Not quickly enough as she felt something slam into the back of the car. "Ow!" She whined, trying to steer the big wheel to get the car thing to go where she wanted to. This was hard.

One thing that Olivia could take away was that despite not being able to see that well, getting attacked and having had no driving lessons ever, she was doing much better than those humans in the Jurassic Park movie. They had lost there cars and here she was avoiding obstacles and a big horse. And driving! (She'd have to tell Andrew about this!)

A shimmering object soon came into view, exciting Olivia immensely. Maybe that was the portal! The right one, that would take the human to safety and make the house elf very proud of her. Olivia aimed the car towards it so that she could get her mission completed.

Oh wait, she had to figure out how to stop... didn't she...

The car was more or less stopped once Olivia realized the pedal that needed to be used. And after almost t-boning into another stopped car not too far from the portal.

At least the little accident didn't result into any major injuries, so the small ghoul felt she was able to chalk this rescue as a success. Exciting! She kicked her door open and swung herself over to the back to pull it open and retrieve the human. They were still out cold from the looks of it, even after all that had happened so Olivia pulled her out. (Not so gently) "Almost there!" She chirped giving the human ghoul a little tug.

And suddenly felt a tug back, followed by a powerful yank. "Hey!" Olivia cried out. Did she not make it after all? When she turned, however, she didn't see those little black hands but the hand of the human ghoul on her arm along with a wild crazed almost look in those eyes. Oh, she was awake.

"Hel-"

"The ******** are you?!" The human screamed, pushing Olivia from her and scrambling back. She didn't realize that the human ghoul was unable to actually see her or make out her features at all. All the human saw was a vague shadowed form of her (though, which form would be less startling...)

"I'm here to-" Olivia tried again.

"Leave me alone!" The volume of her voice hadn't gone down and now it was turning angry. It wasn't very nice, nor was the swing that the human tried to take at her - was that a knife? "********, another one of those things? What the ********?" So many weird words.

The human seemed to be breathing heavily, seemed to be so very scared and confused all at the same time. And as much as Olivia tried to hold her hands up in defense and try to calm her down, nothing seemed to work. A few of the punches the human threw managed to land but thankfully not hurt as much as they probably should have.

It got a little old though.

"I'm trying to help!" Olivia managed an exclamation finally before throwing her own punch, square in the face of the human ghoul she was supposed to protect. The human staggered back holding her nose with a few more human obscenities falling out of her mouth. She might have tried to retaliate but the wight didn't give her the pleasure, instead she slapped stomped on the other ghoul's foot and slapped her upside the head with a huff.

It seemed to at least stun the human long enough for Olivia to grab her by the arm and pull her back to where the portal .... was supposed to be.

"Oh no!" Olivia's mouth fell agape at her situation. At their situation.

It was gone!
