OOC: SCENARIO 2
Scenario requirements: A RANDOM NPC (make up a person!) is hurt in front of you. If you are rping in a group it is just ONE NPC character that is hurt (feel free to rp them out!) They are gravely injured and begin to beg for food and water. If you give it to them (DELETE IT FROM YOUR MINIS INVENTORY). Only one person needs to do this.
You may spend time nursing them back to health, or choose to ignore them and continue onwards. If you choose to ignore them, you take NO infection. If you choose to nurse them back to health, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter as you realize, after a while of talking to them, there was no injured person at all, and you have been talking to nothing
Whenever you rp from this point onwards, you will occasionally see them staring at you from the darkness. If you helped them, they say nothing, if you did not, they accuse you of abandoning someone to die over and over.
When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter

After the wall of thorns, Maria wandered aimlessly once more. Her arms were itching, and there were voices in her head screaming and whispering all at once.

Scratching her scalp, she moved quicker around the large building, uncertain if she had already circled around once. Occasionally, she would see faces to accompany those voices, and the first time she rushed over she was met with darkness. Groaning, she ignored them, wishing she wouldn't be riddled with such foolishness. Eventually, she journeyed back to the entrance, and saw someone on the steps.
Rushing over, she studied the man for a long moment before realizing he was indeed there. Bending down to his side, she noticed he was hurt, most likely from leaving the fog.
"Please...water...food...help..." He coughed out, his voice a wheeze. Maria felt foolish, she had none of what he needed and all she could do was be by his side as a comforting force.
"I-I'm sorry..." She whispered forlornly, reaching to touch him but hesitating and letting her hand fall. The whispers warned her to keep away, to avoid him as if he were infected and a carrier. She tried to ignore them, but Maria couldn't push past them to help address his wounds, and so she settled back on her heels in the crouched position.
"Water..."
"I don't have any..." She said again, her own voice broken as he continued to beg. Without food, she tried to speak over his begging, tried to give him some sort of comfort. Maybe, if she waited long enough, someone would come out with the supplies he needed and help. Eventually, it was clear no one was coming, so Maria finally looked down and tried to assess his wounds.
At first, it seemed as if he had wounds all over his face and body. However, as she finally got a good look at him, she realized he didn't have wounds at all. Maria's brow furrowed in concentration as she eyed his face, his arms, and his hands, and they seemed to waver a long moment. Then, in a blink, she was looking at nothing.
Her body flushed, and she felt a sweat build on her brow.
"Hello?!" She called out, as if he could have moved so quickly in a blink of an eye. Her hands brushed against the stone steps, and she tried to find warmth. The steps were cool to the touch, almost freezing it seemed.
Standing, she moved away from the spot and rushed inside the doors, over the visions and hallucinations riddling her body and mind. As she moved, she began to see more shapes, and the man continued to follow her out of the corner of her eye.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Maria is pretty plain, but has a nice smile. She has straight, dark brown hair and blue-green eyes, as well as a dusting of freckles from playing outside too much when she was younger. She is on the shorter side of average, but only just so, and doesn't wear too flashy of clothing.
