Under normal circumstances, she would have been more than happy to find herself in such a place, but now...
She hesitated. Was it safer inside or outside?
Horror movies dictated it was safe... nowhere, but Dani decided to chance it and go inside. At least that meant she'd be out of the fog, right?
Deciding not to dally, Dani rushed inside. It was... dark. Empty. She supposed she couldn't expect TOO much especially given their current surroundings, but still, she couldn't shake this uneasy feeling the moment she entered. It SEEMED like a good idea at first, but soon, Dani was wondering if it was better to be out. It was dark, and quiet, and...
The sound of something scraping made her jump. What... what WAS that?
Was there... was there something in here? Crap, coming inside seemed like the most probably choice, but to think she might have ended up TRAPPING herself in here with something else...
The thought horrified her. Had she made a mistake?
Not knowing what else to do, Dani started to run.
It was hard to maneuver around in complete darkness, and in halls that grew narrower and narrower. It certainly didn't help that she couldn't SEE where she was going, and the longer she ran, the more she felt like it was getting closer, ragged breathing (she wasn't sure if it was her own or her pursuer) growing louder.
No, she couldn't let herself get spooked or unnerved so easily. She had to press forward. If she gave up now...
As if the breathing wasn't already unsettling, she could make out the sound of something long, dragging on the ground, and she turned once more, this time seeing a shadowed figure. Were they carrying something? Was that... a WEAPON?
Fear seizing her, Dani knew she had to do something to slow them down somehow. DISTRACT them. Running around in this darkness was only going to slow her down, as it seemed whatever it was pursuing her wouldn't be deterred.
There were some things she had found earlier, but she had little use for them now. At the very least, maybe lobbing them at her assailant would help slow them down, and save her hide.
At least, it was what she hoped. Would throwing such things even help? What if she needed them?
... well, she wouldn't end up needing anything if she was killed here, so it was worth a shot.
Digging through her pack, Dani pulled out an old water bottle and a bag of candy, chucking them behind her.
Maybe that would help her live to see another day.

OOC: SCENARIO 1
Scenario requirements: Your character is lost inside the hospital. As the walls become narrower and narrower, they hear a strange scraping noise. They turn around, and see only darkness. As they turn around again, a shadowed figure begins to approach them steadily, a long rusted weapon dragging behind them. It is huge, spanning nearly ten feet. You can feel it breathing behind you, approaching closer.
Your character must RUN AWAY from this thing. Every time you make a post you take -10 damage as it chases you.
To run away, your character MUST take -20 damage OR, drop two items from their minis inventory to slow it down. Announce which items they are. Remove them from your inventory. If multiple characters in your party, all characters need to either drop 2 items or take the -20 damage.
When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter. Add only +5 infection if your character suffered NO DAMAGE.
