"Peace and Quiet?" - RP Characters: Yune and Lilija Players: Zakiax & AstoriaFallen Wordcounts: → AstoriaFallen || 1121 words | 1 Complete RP's | → Zakiax || 1229 words | 1 Complete RP's | __________________________ 2350 words total Yune loved the library, half the time he never left. It was quiet and peaceful and not many others seemed to visit at the hours he often kept in library. Which was nice. Yune wasn't the social balam often times he avoided any contact with others. In a sense he had a bit of social anxiety, he never knew what to say in some situations so he never put himself in any situation. In a sense it was just how he was woven into this world. He was a bit naive only knowing of the dark tribe, awakening there, and his only knowledge of the outside tribes and world were through the scrolls he read on a daily basis. It was all he needed, nothing else but this.
(Note to self: Rp before he becomes a Librarian)

Every since she had awakened she had been drawn to the dust covered scrolls in library and had often found herself there reading through them. It wasn't that she didn't like to be around anyone else, she just found so much more to learn and discover about their past that interested that she hadn't been really too interested in the present.
Today it seemed, she wasn't alone in the library. She placed down the scroll she was reading and shifted her wings slightly against her body as she stood up from her relaxed position upon a padded pillow and looked around to where she heard the noise coming from. She moved through the stacks and finally found Yune. "Hello." She said softly with a small smile.

Social encounters wasn't his strong suite. It was quite obvious that her presence made him nervous, with the way his ears shifted back upon his head. He liked the silence of the library but it seemed of late that silence was ever so broken, others like him coming to read the scrolls.
"Hello" he replied back in a bit of a whisper, but despite the nervous tendencies of his ears his voice was quite steady. Well they were in a library so whispering seemed the best, that and it was all he was able to muster. Strangers always made him uncomfortable at first, it was something he couldn't shake, no matter what he did.

She wouldn't label herself as a social butterfly, she was more curious than anything. Which was why she was wondering who else was in the library. "I didn't mean to disturb you. I just heard someone else in here and thought I'd see who it was.." She said quietly as she gave him another smile in reassurance.
She sensed that he seemed uncomfortable. Maybe her name would help? "My name is Lilija." She said shifting her wings against her back a little bit. She was curious what he was reading now. "What are you reading?" Wasn't she just full of questions now.

Curiosity killed the cat or in this case the b'alam. His ears gave a bit of a perk at her politeness. It was always nice to see manners being used, it made Yune like this one a bit more. The pale dark male began to relax a bit, easing his tensions. "Its...Its alright." He replied back to her first statement. "Not many come here, not many regulars that is." Aside from those who ran the place he didn't really find many others who came here on a daily basis like he did.
When she gave her name the rest of his tense muscles relaxed. Attempting to get to know one was always the hard part, but names always helped him relax, it was good to put a name to a face. "I'm Yune," he replied back giving his own name, figuring it was only polite to give one back.
As she asked him about the book he was reading his concentration nearly broke and he nearly dropped the scroll in which he was putting back. However it was caught in time with his Telekinesis before it dropped upon the floor.
"Ah, just finished one about Floofalos" he replied. "They seem a bit boring though but I would like to see one, it seems they are huge." Talking for him was always easier when the conversation became about the scrolls especially one he had just read. "Any recommendations?" he inquired. Usually he just went along the rows and randomly picked a scroll despite the content of it.

Pale eyes watched him curiously for a moment and she felt somewhat relieved that she hadn't disturbed him too much. Her ears swiveled slightly as he spoke and she wondered if perhaps he was a regular himself. She was, though only newly a regular, as her awakening hadn't been to long ago. She was trying to cram as much into her head as would fit.
"I guess I'd be a new regular then." She said with a small grin. Her tail wrapped itself around her back leg slightly and she shifted her wings again slightly. "It's nice to meet you Yune." She liked his name, it was simple and liked the way it sounded when she said it.
Watching his book drop slightly she pawed her leg slightly and then stopped when he started talking about the floofalos. "I haven't gotten into familiars yet." She had been focusing more on history and trying to find scrolls on the other tribes. "I did find a scroll on Mangus's though." She hoped to one day awaken as a Mangus, though that was a long way off.
She paused for a moment. "Would you mind if I joined you?" She really didn't want to stand for too much longer if they were going to be chatting a bit.

"Well, then I welcome you to the library New regular." Yune replied a little smile finally crossing his soft spoken lips. Possibly it was nice to have someone to talk to every once and a while. Despite being not social most of the time Yune was doing quite the fine job being social now.
"Familiars seem interesting enough, it seems most tribes have a familiar to go with them. I don't know if I want one or not though." he replied back to her comment about familiars.
"I did read that one. Yet, I don't know if I would be ever ready to be fully awakened though." he continued, "I do not think I could be wise enough to lead others." his sentence trailed off a bit as he spoke. Yune was more of a follower then a leader, using other magics could be cool, but he did not want any other to look up to him for advice when he had no clue about his own self.
"I do not mind" He said after a bit of silence. Oddly enough he was enjoying her company. Maybe he finally had someone he could bounce his opinions off of, even it they often happened to be negative. After putting back the scroll he had taken from the shelf he took another this one labeled 'Bork'.
AstoriaFallen You only need to quote me once, please, and I'll get to replying when I can.

Zakiax I was fixing something in my post, that's why it quoted you more than once. I have a bad habit of not proof reading before I post. ^^ THOUGH! If you don't hear from me in a while, ping me. Sometimes I get busy and my quotes get lost. She bowed theatrically when he welcomed her to the library. "Well I thank you for your humble welcome." She said with a grin. She was very pleased that she had decided to come investigate, she hadn't thought she'd of found someone to converse with, at least not like this. It wasn't horribly awkward, at least she didn't think it was.
She listened as he spoke about the familiars a little more. "I don't know if I'd ever want one myself either. I don't think they're for me." She said with a firm nod.
She cocked her head slightly and wriggled her nose and mouth a little. "Well, I think in time anyone could become a leader. Though, we don't have to be strong or commanding to lead. Sometimes just simple knowledge alone is good enough." She said reassuringly to him. "You never know, maybe one day you'll feel differently about it."
She was pleased when he said he didn't mind and she gladly found a spot nearby so that she could talk to him a little lighter since she was no longer a good distance away from him. "Shall we go over this one together? I haven't learned about them yet." She said looking at the title.

He didn't mean to be humble he was just trying to be polite. Perhaps it was one of the same? Yune was quite enjoying their conversation, the first one in a while. They seemed similar enough with interests, maybe just maybe he could consider this one a friend. He never had one before so he really did not know what they entailed, aside from reading about friendship.
Yune nodded with the other. Then Yune instantly shook his head at her when she finished her second statement. "I do not know if I ever could" This came as a barely audible whisper. In fact it was a bit of fear of his, he was more of a follower then anything. He preferred to follow orders rather then be all wise. Some where just not woven as leaders and he felt he was one of those.
Yune settled himself down on the floor in the middle of the scroll aisle. Usually this is how he worked when he read he often just stayed by where he took the scroll and read it from there. "I don't mind at all" he surprised himself with this statement as normally he would mind. Yune opened the scroll and rolled it out before the both of them.
AstoriaFallen I think these two are great together, pretty similar in personality but with some differeneces ^.^ Ah, sorry if I seemed a bit rude. In the past I would have rp partners who would quote me every day till I replied. AND I shall keep that in mind. - I usually edit out the quote if I edit something into a post (Which i will be doing shortly going through all of my first posts of rp i've started and adding the rp form in with word counts and such

Zakiax I TOTALLY understand. ^^ And they are cute together She was pleased that he was willing to tolerate her company and get to know her. She was aware that the lighter pelted tribe members weren't necessarily frowned upon, but they were limited to what they could do rank wise, so that was one in the same to her.
Ears twisted slightly as he spoke and she looked at him and shrugged a little. "It was just a suggestion. I'm sure you'll find your place." She said with a firm nod of her head. She strongly believed they all had a calling.
She watched as he opened the scroll about Borks and she was curious about them. "They are interesting, don't you think?" She said looking at the roughly drawn size charts and facts about them.

He too had trouble fitting in with in the ranks of the dark tribe with his own light pelt. The library had become a bit of his home, his sanctuary.
"I guess." He replied. In truth he really couldn't argue it anymore. Yune was bound to find his calling sooner or later. Weather he liked it or not.
"That they are, but they seem a bit more violent for my tastes. Even if they do sound a bit tasty." Yune replied. He would not want one as a familiar either.

Zakiax emotion_awesome I thought you'd never ask. emotion_kirakira emotion_kirakira emotion_bigheart Yes, I would like to LM them. ^^ "Now that you're saying that It's making me want something to eat." She said with a light laugh in her tone as she looked at him. "Perhaps we can go feed and come back and read some more? I honestly want to know a little more about the Bolf." She said with a nod of her head.
She wondered if she'd ever find herself a familiar, but it wasn't really on her list of things to do. Right now making a way for herself in the dark tribe with having a light coat was her main concern. They were kind of stigmatized, which was rather unfortunate.

Her company was quite relaxing, even more so then any other he had encountered. Perhaps this was what it felt like when one found their other half. Scrolls could only tell so much about these things. He shook his head from the thought and turned his attention back to her.
"Sorry," He muttered softly. Yune didn't mean to make her hungry, though the talk of food did make himself hungry as well. Maybe it was time to take a break. "It might be easier to ask someone who has a bolf about them." Yune replied. "Not everything can be learned this way, despite my wishes for it." he admitted.
AstoriaFallen Awesome I'll set up the agreement! All you'll have to do is agree to it ^.^

Zakiax we can probably go ahead and close this up in another post or so She couldn't help but smile at his apology. "Please, no need to apologize to me. I assure you, I was starting to get hungry before you mentioned food." She said with a warm smile as she looked at him with kind eyes. She nodded her head in agreement to his words. "Do you know of anyone who might have one?" She wasn't entirely looking for an answer, but she was sure they would find someone who had one.
"Sometimes we have to do things we don't always want to do." She said looking at him for a moment. "Though sometimes that can be a good thing as we learn that we are sometimes capable of more than what we originally thought we were." She said trying to encourage him a little bit.

If she insisted, still he felt a bit guilty for making her hungry at the mention of food. "Um. I think Lord Gabriel might." he whispered softly "Or knows who might." Gabriel was their leader and arc magus, and Yune found him intimidating, though of course Yune found most to be intimating. According the scroll Bolfs did originate from somewhere in these caves so they would be bound to run into a dark with bolf.
Yune nodded at her last statement. It made sense he could change with time despite not wanting to do so. "I guess" he replied. "Though I feel like I will have to rely on others more then myself at times."
The pale dark male seemed quite comfortable as to where he was at, even if he was getting hungry himself it would take a bit of coaxing to drag Yune out of his own comfort zone, aka the library.
AstoriaFallen Agreed, would you like to finish it up with your next post then?
