Trying to find someone to trick into giving up their starseed wasn't so difficult. As directed, Jet used what he'd "learned" in order to try and gain the trust of those around him. Humans were sad, pathetic creatures, and many of them fell right into the trap of their desire to take care of others.
His target area that night was the DCU campus. He'd taken off his uniform jacket so he looked less business, and with the use of a borrowed bicycle, he staged a scene that made it look as though he's slid on the wet pathway and ended up crashing.
"E-excuse me..." he called to the girl walking nearby, most likely a student, making sure his voice was properly strained as if in pain and embarrassed about his situation. "I'm sorry... Could I borrow your cellphone? Mine... mine broke when I fell..." It didn't matter if she believed him or not. All he needed to do was get her to stop and approach a little closer.

It was a trap Olga only all too easily fell into, thanks to her humble and earnest military brat country upbringing. She had her nose buried in her phone as she walked by, and the pained and embarrassed tones caught her ear easily enough. Who could ignore distress after all? Olga's head snapped up as her eyes widened, and she took in the sight. "Ah!" She made the quick jaunt over to him, kneeling near him and turning her head this way and that to check for injuries. "Hey, are you alright!? Ah---right---" She held out her iPhone to him. "Of course! Is there anything I can do for you in the meantime, guy?" Guine You're amazing <333 THANK YOU ;u;

This was all too easy. Luring in naive students and then taking not only their energy but their starseed as well. It was the perfect cover and one that Jet planned on using again and again, seeing as it apparently had a high success rate.
"Thank you," he said, trying to fight back a small whimper from the pain he was certainly feeling from the fall off his bike. He reached out for the phone, but instead grabbed onto her wrist. His pathetic, pained frown shifted into a sneer, and tried to use her own weight against her as she knelt beside him, pulling hard to bring her to the ground. She would be easier to control that way.
"You're too kind," he said casually, shifting his own weight to try and pin her down, very much aware that she would probably try to fight him off. After all, he was only a high school student, so it wouldn't be impossible to overpower him.
His hand hovered over her chest for only a moment, before plunging inside, searching for that precious little starseed for him to take. Hopefully the pain would immobilize her long enough for him to get what he wanted. Lucyal Let me know if you'd like me to change/edit any of this!! <333

What the--- Wait--- Was she getting mugged by a high school student? That was one of the clear but rapidly fired shots in her mind, and she found it both kinda funny, yet horrifying as well. The nerve of kids these days---despite the fact she had only graduated high school a few months ago herself. Olga's phone clattered to the ground as she dropped it, obviously surprised. She was caught off guard, and went down easily. As the kid tried to pin her though, it was then she started to fight back, but not quick enough. "What the---" She let out a shrill cry as he plunged his hand into her freaking chest, and she went still from shock and the sudden pain. Guine Nope this is great! : D <333

It didn’t take long for him to locate the starseed and squeezed it as he made to extract it. Jet was so distracted in his task of extracting the starseed, that he didn’t even notice the aura of a senshi approaching. Figured that someone would be around to catch him.
Out of nowhere, a branch came hurling at him, and he let out a yelp in surprise as he got a face full of leaves and bark and probably splinters. He unintentionally removed his hand from inside the woman’s chest, the starseed slipping through his fingers. ”Leave her alone, a*****e!” Oberon yelled, wielding the branch like a sword. A very twiggy sword, and it wasn’t sharp, and covered in leaves, but close enough to a sword. And his magic wasn’t that great, so this would have to be good enough.
He didn’t see if the Negaverse officer managed to pull the girl’s starseed out completely; if he had it in his hand, or if he’d dropped it in the grass, or maybe she was lucky and it was still in her chest. Either way, Oberon quickly scanned the area for the glowing stone, making to step closer to the girl. “Hey! Can you hear me??” he called to her, his face blanched of color and really hoping she was still alive. Lucyal I'll let you decide what you want to happen to her starseed. 8D;;

This went beyond any other experience she had had so far. Getting energy sapped by touch was one thing, but for this guy to have his hand in her chest (with no blood or gore or anything?) and with how much pain it caused--- Relief came though, in the form of a tree branch. As Jet's hand left her chest, Olga immediately flopped flat out onto her back, hands shooting up to clutch at her chest as she gasped for breath. Her hands frantically groped over the area his hand had been plunged, horrified to think she might find a hole or something, but nothing. Okay. Okay. She was okay. She was still lying on the ground, in shock, and was snapped out of her stunned stupor by a voice calling out to her. Comically, she shot straight up into a sitting position like an undead brought back to life. Her hands were still pressed to her chest as she stared at Oberon wide eyed, briefly panicked it was that kid coming back for more--- It wasn't. Actually, not that the panic was edging back a bit, she recognized the branch. It had been her saving grace. Olga wheezed. "Th-thanks....? Is that guy still---" She looked around for him. Guine Can't scar her too bad----yet : ' D <3

Jet sputtered and spit the leaves and bark out of his mouth, having stumbled away from the woman and the bike to give him enough distance between himself and the senshi. Not just a senshi; a weaker, younger version of them it seemed.
"Big mistake," he snarled, a pair of knives drawn from negaspace and appearing in his hands. Very well. If he couldn't take her starseed out while she was alive, he would just have to kill them both.
He lunged forward at the both of them, swiping with his knives and fully prepared for the tree branch now. While he might not be the best when it came to fighting, he wasn't stupid enough to fall for the same mistake twice. Ah, yes, well, falling for the same mistake or not, Oberon jumped forward as well to grab onto the girls arm. "Yeah, I don't think so," he said in response as he lifted her up to pull her out of the way of the crazy Negaverse officer with the knives.
"Don't thank me just yet!" he said to the girl, jumping back and a little further away with her in tow. "Sorry for the rough handling. I figured you'd probably rather not be stabbed by mop head over there." He would like to not be stabbed by the other kid, either.

Olga stared at the kid who had his hand in her chest---and then stared harder as he drew out a pair of knives out of no where. Oh. Well then. She made a surprised sound as she was suddenly pulled up by the other kid with the tree branch. She didn't miss how she had a few good inches on him, yet he moved her with ease, but considering he was help against that kid with the knives---she definitely wasn't going to struggle with the kid in white. "Hey---no, really, thank you--" She stared down at him, baffled. "Are you like----a super powered boy scout or what---and while your tree branch is very cool and I'm very appreciative---got anything else for, yanno, those sharp things he has."

"No, not really," Oberon said, although he didn't clarify what question he was answering. "I don't have any kind of weapon like they," he admitted with a grimace, knowing that they wouldn't be able to keep running as they were, especially with the officer trying to attack them as he was.
"We're gonna try something, okay?" he said, making sure she was still on her feet once they were a decent distance away from being stabbed. "My name is Oberon. If he tries to attack you, hit him with this," he told her as he pushed the branch into her hands. "Also, adventure beckons!" he called his magic, gently tapping her shoulder. With that, she should feel a boost of morale and it would make her more adventurous. Oberon just hoped it wouldn't make her too reckless. Whatever these kids were planning on, Jet was going to have none of it. He'd been in perfect position to take her starseed and get the credit he deserved, and this child senshi decided to butt his way in.
Covering the short distance in an instance with a quick teleport, he grabbed onto the front of the senshi's collar with one hand, knife raised in the other. "Should have just minded your own business," he hissed. As soon as he was rid of the senshi, he would take the girl to his superiors to be corrupted.

Oh boy. "Okay!" She then had the tree branch pushed into her hands, and Olga blinked before she stared at him. "Oberon?" She echoed. "Ah---Olga. That's me---" And woah, was that some kind of super hero catch phrase--- Oh boy. She did feel boost of morale...and that was maybe not a good thing. She was already primed to try anything, and this was just a push over the edge. While she had been worried, but still willing, to fight against the kid with knives before----pffffft. Knives! She had this, and she didn't take kindly to seeing the kid grab onto Oberon like that. Olga pulled back the tree branch like a batter at the plate in a game of baseball. " I'll mind you!" She cried, and swung the branch around in an arch like she was trying to hit a home run at Jet. Guine I actually feel bad trying to hit Jet : C

Whatever Jet had been expecting, he definitely hadn’t been expecting to be hit with the tree branch. Again. “F- damnit,” he hissed, the knife being knocked from his hand as he was knocked to the ground by the civilian woman he’d tried attacking earlier.Oberon would admit to being mildly concerned when the Negaverse officer had him by his collar and a knife coming at him, but everything seemed to work out when Olga followed his direction and used the tree branch to knock the officer down. Sure, it meant that he got pulled with him, but now he had the chance to attack him.
“Nice one!” he called to Olga before turning to grab hold of the dropped knife. Oberon lunged at the officer, and brought the knife down hard against his arm. He didn’t want to kill the guy, just hurt him a little. He wasn’t like the Negaverse. Of course, the officer shifted away just in time to miss being stabbed directly in the arm, but it definitely grazed him.
“I’ll make sure to hit something more vital next time,” he threatened, wielding the knife above the officer. Jet let out a yelp of pain and glared up at the senshi. Quickly weighing his odds in a fight against both the senshi and now the girl with the branch, he figured it would probably be best to retreat for now. In the blink of an eye, Jet and his knives vanished into thin air.Lucyal It’s okay! He’s used to it! And deserved it! <3

There was a huge feeling of relief as Jet was swept off his feet (combined with a feeling of holy cow she was kind of turning bad a-word here because she just swung this branch and knocked a guy down). This allowed Oberon the upper hand, and briefly she worried this was going to turn into a murder scene tonight, but was VERY THANKFUL it didn't. Whew. As the other guy disappeared, Olga heaved a huge sigh of relief, her shoulders sagging briefly. She then perked up, and made her way over to Oberon, where she offered him back his branch with a grin. "Once again, guy, thanks! I mean it---but uh---" She blinked, and her free hand rested over her chest. "Was he like....trying to take my heart or something and--- how could he stick his hand into my chest? How come there's no blood?" All the questions.

Well, that was that. Oberon stood to his feet and wiped his hands off on his outfit. Thankfully there was no blood on him. He didn’t really hit the guy that hard!
He took the branch back without really thinking about it, but then let out a laugh as he looked down at it. “I guess I will feel kind of bad parting with this,” he joked, tossing the branch back onto the grassy lawn where he’d found it.
Of course, when he stood before the girl, he realized that she probably just witnessed, and experienced, something really weird. “Really? You’ve never heard about the aliens and terrorists that are overrunning the city?” he asked in surprise, not at all joking as he looked her over and then crossed his arms over his chest in thought.
“Well… there’s no blood because he was going for your starseed, probably,” he explained and then realized that that wasn’t really a good explanation. “It’s, like, your soul. The Negaverse, which that guy works for, likes to collect starseeds and energy from people. Usually people falling into mysterious comas are caused by starseed pulling. You’re lucky. I really thought he got yours for a moment. Don’t freak out, but magic totally exists. Sorry about using my magic on you earlier… it’s kinda lame, but holy cow you hit him good!”

"Oh." Olga felt kind of bad too. That was a really noble branch. Her black eyes went wide though. "Eh!? Aliens!? I mean---I've heard the word terrorists thrown around---but I'm not sure if it's towards those people in black or the people in white---" Here she had to do a double take at him, because he was wearing a white shirt but---well. He had this little...branch tiara thing going and---welp. He said it. Magic. Plus some other stuff that was more disconcerting. "... Soul stealers?" She gasped, pressing her hand to her chest even tighter. "I ran into two other dudes like that a few weeks ago, and yeah---they sapped my energy! Now you're telling me they can steal your soul, too?" All in all, she seemed to be taking it all in stride, and that had a lot to do with her first initial encounters with the military dressed guys. After all, how could one refute the existence of something like magic when she had had her energy drained simply by being touched? Plus, well, she did watch that one guy stick his hand into her chest. Olga was staring off into space for a long while, thinking about all of this stuff before she snapped back to, and focused back on Oberon, raising both of her hands up. "Hey---I'm not mad at all, okay, guy? You saved me---like one of those super heroes out of the comic books!" She grinned at him. "What does your magic do exactly, huh?" Guine Sorry Oberon, as she chatters your ear off...

It took him a moment to realize she was giving him a look when she mentioned hearing things about people in black and people in white. After a quick glance down at himself, he uncrossed his arms from over his chest and held up his hands in a show of innocence.
"Hey, I'm not the one trying to steal your soul," he pointed out, although he hoped that his actions spoke for him. At least she'd heard about the terrorists, but wicked when she said she had her energy drained before.
He stared at her, hoping he didn't look too exasperated. She was obviously in college, whereas he just started high school, so how much she believed he didn't know.
"Well," he started, wondering how to explain his magic while keeping on alert for any auras in the area, in case that other kid tried coming back. "I guess it makes people more adventurous. If you run into any more of us, you'll see we have specific... power sources. My magic is adventure, but I have friends like me whose magic is... lust, and plenty, and... those aren't really good examples," he made another face, trying to think of someone with 'normal' magic like... water or fire.
"I've got a couple older brothers who are knights. You'll meet those too. They don't all wear white but they look like they're right out of a convention. The ones you need to worry about are those in black and dark colors. They're not all bad, but the... magic that controls them is. We call it 'chaos'..." Lucyal No worries!! He likes feeling useful. <33
