You know what was a ******** shame? Oscar, who was a complete a*****e in real life (said the pot), was somehow charismatic enough to be a fairly popular LPer. Or, uh, to have been a fairly popular LPer. Popular enough that Wataru recognized the face, anyway. How did he get people to keep watching him - to laugh? Sometimes Wataru had enough trouble coming up with flavor text for his photo posts that wasn't an abrasive string of expletives that mostly described how long it'd taken him to embroider a particular embellishment.
And yeah, Wataru didn't really know what he was doing. But sometimes it was nice to sit in a circle and laugh at everyone else's attempts at....well, whatever some of this was.
Some people had taken to invading uninhabited rooms all the way on the twenty-first floor and pushing the furniture into strange arrangements. Then they'd proceed to...well, challenge each other to get from one spot to some other spot the most efficiently. Wataru admired efficiency, but lacked athleticism in any dimension that didn't involve running away from trouble.

So, uh, in conclusion, that was why he was doing this. There was a communal lounge set up on each floor, and not a ton of them were in use: most people just gathered in the big one downstairs. But, you know, it was kind of rude to rearrange furniture that people were actually using. So he'd picked the fourth floor to attempt to show off what he'd learned of late.
The problem was, Wataru really did lack grace. He generally didn't do much other than walk and pose delicately in his costumes; he had a preference for morose-looking characters swimming in sweet lace. And so he walked up to the couch fine, but when he attempted to vault his body over it, his foot caught on one of the seats. Wataru's body spilled awkwardly onto the reverse side and his head banged against the high table that'd been placed strategically nearby.
Uh, that had not been Wataru's intent. He ran his hand through his hair and leveled a weird grin at his audience. "I'm okay, dudes," he said. "But I think I'm gonna..." He jerked his thumb toward the stairwell. He needed to find his way back to the apartment he'd claimed for himself and sit around regretting his life choices, after all.
