‽Myers-Briggs Type:ESTP(artisan type, promoter role-variant) ‽Personality:Regardless of everything he went through under the rule of Dr. Murphy, Revelin's ingrained sense of loyalty refuses to crack under the pressure, though the ease to which he forms attachment to others is quite another story. Protective to the point of possessive, while Revelin is not altogether destructive, he does tend to have a bad habit of lashing out at others in some form or another, whether they deserve such retaliation or not. He does not handle authority very well, rebellious outbursts being quite commonplace for the arcanine but likewise a way for him to express his creativity in a less violent medium. Revelin is self-confident and prideful due to the disappointments of the past, but these points are not in such excess to be a downfall; on the contrary, his outwardly confident demeanor can actually work to be a rock for those less sure of themselves. ‽Likes:Revelin is a pokémon with simple wishes that aren't always so easily solved. He honestly does not require much to stay happy, but it usually depends on what all he is able to accept at any given moment. As a fire-type, he greatly enjoys his own element and takes pride in what type he is, but he is no pyro. He likes thinking that he is needed every so often, and when noticed for his skill (fire-based or otherwise), this tends to stoke that metaphorical fire. Despite his personal strengths, simply feeling like he is safe right where he is becomes a rare but most poignant pleasure. He loves jerked meats. ‽Dislikes:Despite the air he may put up, Revelin greatly dislikes physical violence; while he may try to steer clear from it, if he is given little choice, he won't hesitate to initiate it, but that doesn't mean he likes it any more. He can be rather creative with his cues to avoid such an outcome, however, and doesn't normally blank out in stressful situations. Because of his pride, Revelin doesn't like when there is assurances to the contrary of what he has previously decided on. In fact, he really just doesn't like being wrong in general, but if he can sidestep blame on misguiding or pride, he can deal. ‽Other Quirks:By all outward appearances, Revelin may seem a little too cocky for his own good. However, the young arcanine is actually very attuned to himself in that he is aware of the extent of his own capabilities, and isn't prone to biting off more than he can chew, not unless the attempt alone might benefit himself or another. He is actually quite careful and surprisingly rational; an extended, broken past of abandonment and experimentation has left him similarly broken inside.

After the fiasco with Team Rocket, having been taken into custody against his will and escaping still relatively fully in-tact, Revelin tends to think unfavorably of the idea of trainers. Despite this insistence, he is rather fond of Deanna Willows, and can get extremely protective of the woman. He does not, however, live with her, and prefers the freedom to roam about the wilds, though tends to stick nearby his not-quite-a-trainer regardless.

Much of Revelin's early childhood was tossed out the window when the young arcanine was trapped under Team Rocket custody. All attachments to the outside world gradually faded away the longer he had been kept behind those steel bars until there was nothing left but the taste of freedom, for a world that felt far enough to have been but a passing daydream of a time long past. Once he was finally able to seize his opportunity, he took it, though he lacked direction on where to go from there. As such, he lives each day as though this liberty could be snatched away at any given moment.

Any relatives that Revelin had left behind remained as such, long ago. While the arcanine may not have lived a long life, such attachments broke when the time locked in a cage had surpassed the time he had the freedom to do as he pleased. Without the need to mend those burned bridges or the whims to reach out to call another place 'home,' family in any sense of the word is moot.

Deanna Willows - Paian, Kachina, Aure, Jubilee, Tadashi, Lucinda, Lightning, Fluffernutter, & Eiliam's trainer - Revelin is highly protective of this wheelchair-bound trainer and mother of two. He doesn't usually like to let anyone else come near her when he drops in for a visit, and will most usually growl and bite at those that do not heed the warnings. Revelin doesn't really live in any one place. Now free from capture, he tends to make full use of unshackled living quarters and fresh air by not binding himself to any particular living arrangement. More often than not, however, Revelin can be found around the fields sandwiched between the forest and towns. He makes frequent trips to Dea'sSakura Blossoms Inn and Sanctuary, commonly enough that some may mistake him for a resident.

Revelin is quite contrary to materialistic belongings, out of forced practice that evolved into habit. While in his time, he may pick some things up -- things that he will not be keen on misplacing -- they are and will be a scarcity. When such a time arises, those items will be placed here.
