As Ellie wandered the fog, she primarily stuck close to the gate. She could see Undying and Infected alike wandering around out there, but she had a sinking feeling they were inside the Hospital too... She just somehow felt... Safer... Outside... If you could really call any of this safe...
The Hospital grounds must gave been, at one time, very nice! They were well organized and surprisingly well managed... Which seemed odd really... Still, thinking too hard on it threatened to stir up her paranoia... It also seemed to make her itch... Why did she itch so much!? She knew she hadn't bathed in a really long time, but why so much itching all of a sudden?! Was she allergic to something here? It wouldn't surprise her really...
Finally, as she wanders the fence, Ellie comes across a large wall of thorns and buds! "Hm?" she hums curiously before approaching them. Her paranoia said NO! Stop! Trap! But once again her curiosity won out. The vines were beautiful! So were the buds, and even the thorns were pretty! To see such beauty and color among all the gray and gloom entranced her! She was further entranced once the petals of the buds twist to reveal their colorful glory! "Ooo..." she whispers quietly in awe after gasping slightly...
Her senses were screaming no, but her body and mind were thoroughly bewitched... Slowly, she reaches out to touch one of the glorious flowers. However, instead of her hand meeting soft petals it pricks against a unforgiving thorn! "Eek!" she gasps as a surge of pain runs through her hand! Before she could even comprehend the pain, everything went dark!

She was running...? Why was she running...? Soon, the pitter-patter of gunfire would answer her question! Someone was shooting at her! But why!? As she ran down the back allys of some unknown city, she feels a annoying sting hitt her shoulder! She'd been shot! But... It only felt like a bug sting... Why didn't it hurt as it should...?
Eventually, she'd find herself dead-ended in a closed courtyard... She was trapped... And it was then that she'd see who her persuers were... Other humans... She was being hunted by other humans... Just like how she'd been cattle for them in the Casino! But no... She was angry, but not because of that... She was angry because... Because these foolish humans wouldn't accept her wisdom! They wouldn't listen to her!
They came at her, firing with guns and stabbing with blades! They hurt, each strike hurt! But not bad enough, not enough to stop her, to truely wound her! These stupid humans wouldn't listen! If these wretches wouldn't accept the gifts she so desired to give them, then they'd have to be culled! The human race didn't need any more stupidity!
With claws long and fangs fierce, she began mercilessly culling the fools! One human gone, then the next, and the next! They didn't deserve her wisdom!

No matter how many she culled, they just kept coming! And not a one would accept her knowledge... Would accept her... Finally, as she went to rip into another wretched human, the vision ends!

Gasping, Ellie staggers away from the first thorn, only to p***k herself on another as she instinctively reaches out to steady herself! She didn't even have time to make sense of what she'd just seen before she was thrown into another vision!
----
It was worse now, Human's weren't her only problem now! Her own kind, her breathern were turning against her now! Dragons, demons, undead, and monsters of all kinds, they all turned on her! They all refused her knowledge, refused to serve her for the greater good!
They wouldn't accept her, they wouldn't accept her knowledge, her right to rule! She hated them, loathed them for it! They begged her, attacked her, tried to 'reason' with her! But they were the fools! They were the ones lost! She would cull them too! She'd take their power and make it her own!
As shadowlings fell left and right, she couldn't help but shake her head. Such a tragic waste... These poor wretches couldn't even see how lost they were...

The vision ends with the demise of a dragon at her blood soaked claws!

Gasping for air once more, Ellie tries desperately to stagger away from the thorns! Alas, because she was so close to the bush her foot caught on a vine and sent her sprawling to catch herself! She yelps breathlessly as her hand meets another thorn and catapults her into another vision!

It felt similar... Similar to the first... But things were different somehow... She was weaker... But still strong... The guns, the swords, the humans before her seemed stronger! But it didn't matter... They were still the same fools from before... Still the same stupid sheep that couldn't think for themselves! The same wretches who refused her knowledge! Refused her!
She was frustrated, so very frustrated! These human's had the ability to understand, she knew they did! But, they simply refused to! She had to cull them... To remove the stupidity before it spread... She would Cull them! She was!
Claws, fangs, magic, all met flesh, and cloth, and steel! She'd end their ignorance, free them from the misery of naivety! She'd do this, and she'd do so without remorse! What was life without knowledge?

The vision ends with her ripping into a human with a shield, her claws shorter but still as sharp!

She couldn't breath! All these, these... memories, these feelings not her own! They were crushing her! She couldn't catch a break, couldn't make sense of it all!
Gasping desperately for air, Ellie out right staggers into another clump of thorns out of exhaustion! As her hands meet thorns, she was once again thrown into a vision!

Another war against her kin... They didn't approve of her human culling... They, just as their ancestors did, refused her knowledge, refused her right to rule! Refused her... They'd trapped her, stole her power, stole her freedom! She'd make them pay! They'd pay for the betrayal! They'd pay for their foolish ignorance! Their wretched naivety! If they refused her knowledge, refused her, they'd have to be culled... Just like the humans... She'd take their power, she'd share her knowledge! Whether the world wanted it or not, it would accept her knowledge!

As the vision fades, Ellie tries to pull away from the vines, to get away from the horrid visions, the rotted emotions, all the hatered, anger, and frustration!
But the vines weren't quite done with her! They hadn't shared all they wanted to share yet! The living, pulsing, vines had one more thing to share... As Ellie, breathless and exhausted, tries frantically to detangle herself from the vine's embrace, a flower, bigger then all the rest, opens up right in front of her face! Almost instantly, her struggling slows to a stop... The colors, the brightness, the beauty... It entrances her... As her chest heaved with every breath, she slowly reaches out and touches the soft delicate petals...
And then there was pain! So much pain! "A-ah!" she half yelps half screams as she tears herself away from the thorns which now seemed ready to release her! Like a Tsunami, a crushing, drowning, suffocating wave of thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories, and conversations hit her all at once! It's like she had millions upon millions of people inside her head all at the same time! "G-gah!" she screams as she clutches her head in both hands!
She felt happiness and sorrow, joy and hatred, loniness, satisfaction, confusion, fear, and pretty much every other emotion one might feel! A myriad of memories swam through her head, ranging from a kid playing baseball, to a mother rocking her child, a man drinking his sorrows away to a student graduating collage! And worst yet was the conversations! Billions of different voices seemed to be having millions of different conversations all at once! However, the topic which most conversed about was the infection... How it came about, what was it's purpose, why did it attack this particular city? Theories, questions, speculations, but no answers... Many claimed it was terrorism, others claimed bio weapon testing... Some claimed it was divine punishment, while others claimed it was a super virus created by over sterilizing our world!
To much! It was just too much! She couldn't even proccess a fraction of the information! Not even a tiny bit! It just all flooded her so quickly, it was here and gone in miliseconds, and yet more information just kept pouring in! It wouldn't stop, it wouldn't slow down! No, it kept picking up faster! Faster and faster the information came! She couldn't take it! Her head felt like it was going to explode!
"A-Ahh! Nheggg! Mmm-Grah!" she cries out as she dig her nails into her scalp, as if that would stop it all! But it didn't! It all just kept coming and coming! The sheer amount of knowledge being thrust upon her was unbareable! Soon, her anguished cries reach a fevered pitch and her nose begins to bleed! She couldn't take it any more! She just couldn't take it!
Finally, as blood trickles down her face onto her chest, she collapses to the ground in a heap! "G-grah! A-ah!" she cries as she curls up in a ball of misery shortly before stretching out with her back arched as she begins to convulse!
It wasn't long after that before Ellie stills completely as sweet unconsciousness finally takes her...
