Unable to teleport on her own Dahlia found great stretches of time in which she became 'stuck' within Negaspace or locked out of it until she could hitch a ride one way or the other. It was not usually something she minded - she was quite competent in finding ways to entertain herself both in Negaspace and Destiny City, be it with company or simple exploration. But after spending so much time hiding away from the heat of the summer in Negaspace Dahlia's options were beginning to dwindle, and she found herself creeping down corridors she'd never traveled.
The cream color of her coat stood out against the general darkness of the surroundings, but her petite frame and years of hunting helped her sneaky endevours. It also didn't hurt that she, like most cats, felt that no place was off bounds to her. Not Dahlia. Precious treasure of the Negaverse, she could do what she liked. Well.. except visit the Rift, but she had no great desire for that anyway, her disdain for youma palpable.
When she stumbled across a room that looked unlike the usual offices, meeting and training rooms, or recouperation rooms she paused, lingering in the doorway for only a moment before stalking in. It looked lived in almost... but who.. other than her on occasion.. lived in Negaspace? Was this the room of Alkaid? She had heard of the strange Ascended General before but never met her.
The cat's steps were tentative at first, paws taking her silently to the center of the room, her nose lifting in sensory exploration. Dual colored eyes glanced from one corner of the room to the next, her tail slowly beginning to sway back and forth as she became more comfortable and more curious.

The sound of boots on stone were loud in the dimness of the Dark Kingdom. Each thunk came with a rattle of chains that grew louder as the woman wearing them approached the door to the rooms she kept in the only safe place there was for a creature like her. When one gave off a signature for all but a scant few hours, being anywhere else was a constant bid for attention of a hostile sort.
Negaspace was a haven, but a lonely one. It was rare to see much of anyone there, save in the more useful areas, like the computer database or the door to the Rift, so seeing the crack in her door was entirely surprising. Cinnabar's steps slowed as she grew close and her eyebrows lifted, wondering.
Reaching out, the tall woman pressing her thick hand palm-flat to the door and pushed it open as she entered. Her eyes swept the room in quick assessment, but it appeared everything was in place... and it seemed like whomever had invaded her space hadn't stuck around to face her. Probably a good idea on their part, considering what she probably would have done to an intruder. Relaxing, the half-youma headed for the large, four poster bed against the wall with its black silk sheets, shrugging off her heavy coat to toss across it. The liquor cart was her next stop and liquid filled thick walled glasses to a few fingers full of Whiskey.
When she turned, glass in hand, Cinnabar was startled to find a cat in the center of her room and it pulled her up short, blinking red eyes at the small creature.
"What are you doing here, Pretty?" She murmured as she glanced at the door and back, wondering for a wild moment where this lovely creature's owner was. Except that was silly... who would bring a normal cat into Negaspace? That thought, linked with the prominent star on it's forehead, clued her in that this was probably one of the Guardian Cats the Negaverse employed, like Khay. "Ah... Who do I have the pleasure of entertaining tonight?"

No sooner had the cat become comfortable in her snooping did the sound of boots approaching catch her attention, her sensitive ears flicking in the direction of the noise. The noise in and of itself was not that troublesome, but rather the aura she assumed belonged to them. Youma... Well.. sort of..? It was something she'd never quite felt before - perhaps a General with their personal youma in tow?
Creeping towards the edge of the room, she slunk behind a chair, her eyes settling on the door just as it was pushed opened. And suddenly she knew exactly why the aura had been so strange. Dahlia had heard of half-youma before but had never had the displeasure of meeting one. Given her general fear and distaste of youma she'd seen no reason to try, just like she felt no desire or misfortune in the fact she could not visit the Rift.
This one though... did not look quite as she might have expected. She looked mostly like a beautiful woman. If not for the tail and horns Dahlia might not have even noticed the scales right away. Her eyes peered curiously as Cinnabar made her way across the room, but slowly the cat began to creep away from her hiding place towards the door. Curiousity be damned, she was intent on escaping through the still cracked door.
It was sheer bad luck that Cinnabar turned just as she was in the most vunerable place, the center of the room, and the cat halted in her steps upon being caught. Her slinking position shifted immediately to puff herself up in reflex, tail held high but still. The pounding of her heart in her ears was deafening. The memory of the last time she'd been attacked by a youma clear on her mind. She was debating whether to power up, feeling far more comfortable and less vunerable in her larger form, or to remain as she was. She was after all faster in this form, and could more easily slip through the crack in the doorway.
Dahlia never found an answer to her internal debate however before she was greeted with unassuming words. Had it been a normal person the complimentary word and seeming intent to entertain her would have had the cat almost immediately within their lap. But the general was no normal person and as Dahlia's dual colored eyes stared at Cinnabar's strange eyes, she stayed put trying to hide her fear and uncertainty.
"Dahlia..." She replied finally, chest puffing as she shifted to fully face the woman. "I didn't realize there were people that lived here."

Dark eyebrows lifted as the cat arched and puffed up. She hadn't made any particularly threatening moves, but she held still anyway, one arm loose at her side while the other held her glass near her stomach. No quick motions, no stooping to reach. All she did was c**k her head to the side a little bit, like a curious cat herself.
"Dahlia. Its a pleasure to meet you." She said. She shifted then, turning away to head for the seating area with its comfortable couch and chairs. She turned her eyes away from the Guardian, despite the urge to watch her. It would hopefully ease the nerves some, not having eyes on her. It had always seemed to work with the cats she'd worked with at the shelter...
"My name is Cinnabar. I've been living here for a few months now, actually. Ever since my promotion to captain and simultaneous merge with my youma." She said as she moved to the center of the couch and sank down on it with a smooth, controlled motion. One long leg crossed over the other as she lifted her whiskey to her lips. "I can't power down from this form, so unfortunately, my power signature is nearly constant, twenty-four-seven. Makes living in the city difficult, so I took over this room and the one next to it for my use. I'm not the only one living here, either. I know of at least one captain who's been living in the barracks too, though I don't know why. He looks completely normal to me..."
Her mind flickered back to Titan and their brief scuffle before returning to the here and now.
"I would offer you something to eat or drink, but I'm afraid all I have stocked here is alcohol, unless you'd like that. Its impossible to run a fridge or a microwave in here without electricity."

Cinnabar's strategy was working.
Though not entirely at ease, the subtle actions that the experienced cat lover subtly soothed the Guardian as she continued to watch. The uncertainty never faded, still quite confused how the woman could radiate the aura of youma so horribly but seem so... very human nonetheless. And nonthreatening. Slowly be surely her tail began to descend downward along with some of the walls she'd initially erected. The bit of information Cinnabar passed on, that others lived there as well as herself, was filed away for another time. It was however the thing they shared in common that finally drew the cat forward, and after just a couple of steps she was a cat no more.
Fingers reached up to brush through her curls, a reflexive and subconcious primping, as she stepped closer still, the medal decor on her clothing jangling with the rhythm of her swaying hips and tail. "I know a thing or two as well about being a prisoner to an obtrusive aura."
Dahlia was a Mauvian who vastly preferred being in her larger form. While there were definitely moments in which she enjoyed being a cat... being a cat person was all the better. There were so many more things she could do. So much more of herself to appreciate. But only in Negaspace did she truly have the freedom to move around that way at ease, her aura far too strong in Destiny City for anything more than short spurts or special occasions. But Negaspace was a lonely place for such a social creature.
Intrigued and slightly soothed Dahlia came to pause a few steps away from the woman and the couch she relaxed on, a small smile quirking on her lips as she thought aloud. "I cannot think of the last time anyone offered me alcohol..."

Cinnabar blinked as the aura flared to life behind her, huge and almost overwhelming for a moment. Red eyes flicked to the side and widened at the sight of a new creature in her room where a cat had once been. Her gaze trailed down the new woman's form, lingering on sweet curves and dark skin left bare by the dancing girl outfit she sported. Eyebrows lifted and her lips curled, watching her come around the couch.
"Well hello, Lovely..." She murmured as she cocked her head to the side. The aura she felt was familiar, from the time she had met the cat-girl Zirconia, but it was a good deal different... closer in feel to the officers around her than to the Mirror cat. This was what a Chaos cat felt like in human form, then. What a strange, but wonderful, feeling. As the Dahlia came to stand beside her, Cinnabar shifted her grip on her glass and offered it out, staying relaxed in her seat.
"Its a shame... more people should offer." She said, the tip of her tail curling as it trailed over the edge of the couch. The outfit was distinct from Zirconia's as well, and the little star on her forehead was black, rather than the crescent moon the other had worn. Did each cat have distinct dress when they became human? Who chose that? Though, on that line of thought, who chose her own uniform? Cin smirked, brushing off that thought. "Do you spend a lot of time in the Dark Kingdom, then? Its a bit of a dreary place, for someone so pretty. A shame, really."

The curious inspection, as Cinnabar looked her over with more than just a passing glance, was enough to send Dahlia's heart into a flutter. The satisfaction of being appreciated was like a drug to the vain woman, her chest puffing, the sway of her tail quickening subconciously in a show of her pleasure. It didn't matter if it was sexual interest, platonic curiousity, or even just awe, being appreciated was nice and something Dahlia felt she did not get nearly as often as she deserved. Though to be fair, her demands and desires were unrealistically constant.
She lingered momentarily, cautious for just another few seconds before she finally threw it to the wind, and her fingers brushed the offered glass, pressing it against pouting lips. "It's a crime truly how many people see me simply as a cat, when as a woman I have so much more to offer." The coolness of the liquid met with the burn of the alcohol, exotic considering the length of time it had been since she'd last had a drink. Returning the glass, with a smile and half lidded gaze she turned, listening to the pleasant melody coming from her hips as she stepped away again, seeming to think about the question asked.
"It depends really. On what I feel like. Sometimes I roam around Destiny City for weeks on end. Other times I stay down here for awhile." Fickle, much like the creature she was. "It also depends if I'm on a mission or not."
Returning her gaze to the other woman she gave a playful, woe is me, huff. "I don't have the luxury of traveling back and forth on my own, I always need an escort."
"And if I want to play around like this then I'm usually stuck here. A diamond locked away in the deep dark caves." She was laying it on pretty thick, fingers twirling through long curls. If it weren't for how serious she looked it might have actually been humorous.

The Half-youma smirked, watching her guest drink from her glass. She accepted it back graciously as her eyes wandered again in a warm and comfortable sort of way.
"You certainly have plenty to offer someone willing to take advantage of it." She said through her smile, wondering how much of the innuendo was intentional on the Mauvian's part. How much of that did they really understand, being stuck as a cat most of their time? Did they, or were they even able to, enjoy the kind of intimacy a normal human could? It was a highly interesting question.
"And such a shame, being forced to depend on others for your transportation, stuck in the dark where you can't properly shine..." Cin rocked forward finally and rose smoothly to her feet again. She stepped forward with confidence, and taking a chance with the lovely creature's skittish nature, she reached out with her free hand to slide her fingers down her jaw line in a warm caress. Her thumb brushed her chin, just below full lips that drew her eyes.
"I can't promise to always be available to play taxi to your every whim, but if you need transport in or out of the Dark Kingdom, you're free to come find me, Dahlia." Cin offered a smile as she took her hand away. "Or if you simply want the company of another creature who can only be her true self here. My rooms are free for your use, if you would like it."
Taking her glass, Cinnabar retreated to the cart to refill it, taking up another to fill for her guest. Ice rattled into the glasses and when she came back, she offered it out to the Mauvian.

Her words were entirely intentional and Dahlia knew exactly what she was talking about and illuding to. Though it was true she was flirty by nature, and sometimes, when she could read that it was making someone uncomfortable to have a cat flirt with them she'd do it in jest. But when it all came down to it perhaps Masahiro hadn't been so wrong when he used to whisper his distaste over her loose morals.
Though not super well known it wasn't entirely a secret that the Guardian had found her own special way to 'motivate' young lieutenants into doing their job. After all, there were so few senshi, and she needed something useful to do to help out the Negaverse when she wasn't needed in her usual fuction. Nor was it a secret to anyone that really knew her how open and free she was with physical affection.
Cinnabar was perhaps humoring her, her words honeyed as she responded to the cat's gripes, but Dahlia didn't mind. In fact it stilled her urge to flinch just once more as the 'youma' touched her, instead letting a soft purr rattle at the very back of her throat. As ears twitched subtly the Mauvian decided if Cinnabar could see her as a woman, it was the least she could do in return. A lovely and powerful woman.
And then the offer sounded, and her tail lashed in delight, the tip of a pronounced canine visible in the wide smile that crossed her lips. As the general retreated to fill her glass and retrieve another Dahlia crooned. "How very kind of you."
"Perhaps I can find something to offer in return." She drawled as her fingers wrapped around the offered glass, a long and suggestive pause before she mused softly. "I might be able to help you spend some more time in the city if you'd like. Dampen that big strong aura of yours." One finger extending she ran it delicately against the other woman's collarbone, before leaning in with a more playful purr. "Even though I find all that power quite sexy."

Cinnabar's eyes heated as a slender finger stroked across her skin, her lazy attention drawing in to a look at that was sharper and more focused. She watched the Mauvian's face as she teased and offered, her tail beginning a slow side to side flick behind her.
"There are times when it would be very useful to me to have someone along who can keep my power signature under wraps. I could think of a few times when having you along would have been beneficial." Her glass held loosely in her fingers, forgotten for the moment down by her side, Cin reached again for Dahlia's chin and tilted her head up a little. It gave her a better view of the lovely face, her eyes tracing over the plump lips as her own parted.
"One thing I want to be clear about though... I don't trade sex for favors. Just one of my little quirks. When I play, its because I've found an attractive partner I want to hear screaming my name." Her lips curved up at the corners as she leaned closer, testing how comfortable the cat girl had become with her. She'd been skittish before, but the teasing and the touch were promising signs. "If you want to pay me back for carrying you around, then by all means, come along to dampen my aura or play spy with your feline form. But sex... I only want that if you want it to."
Maybe it was strange, the way it bothered her to trade bodies for favors. Maybe other people found it a useful tactic to get ahead, but it would never be something Cinnabar would be comfortable with, rational or not. It reminded her too strongly of her past, one she wasn't willing to repeat. Then again, maybe she was reading too far into the teasing Dahlia was doing. That was always a possibility. She could be scaring her away, being so forward, but she felt strongly enough about it that it needed to be said.

"How very noble." The words lacked any sarcasm, more of a thoughtful statement then anything as she filed the information away. Though she had no qualms with trading sex for favors she knew not everyone felt the same way, nor did their opinions really affect hers. But it was a good thing to know how strongly Cinnabar's feelings were on the topic if she had any intentions of taking her up on her offer for teleportation. Wouldn't want to unintentionally offend the General again in the future.
"I am a good solider of the Negaverse." She responded with a softly contented sigh as fingers pressed beneath her chin and tilted her gaze upwards, long eyelashes fluttering around dual colored eyes. "I will come dampen your aura whenever you request it. If it comes with the bonus of a ride back and forth now and then I'll happily accept that offer." A fair trade, and one that hopefully did not upset Cinnabar's sensibilities. Really it didn't sound much to ask on her part, it might even be fun to be able to cruise around more often on missions. Dahlia had a feeling she would like the way the General handled herself while on duty, but only time would tell.
As to the more important topic at hand.
There was a soft jingle and rustle of metal coins as Dahlia pressed up on her tiptoes trying to shorten the remaining distance between both of their lips. Her lips were practically touching the other woman's as she whispered breathily. "I love to be pet and pampered. I'd be delighted if you spent the evening entertaining me and attending to my needs." A 'princess' through and through, she was selfish but not so entirely that she was oblivious to the needs of others. The offer for some fun and attention was just as intoxicating as the liquor that was currently being ignored.

Cinnabar smirked down at the cat, considering the idea of herself as 'noble'. It didn't fit well.
"I look forward to a productive relationship." She murmured as she studied the lovely blue and gold eyes. Metal rang like tiny bells as the Mauvian shifted closer and Cinnabar reached then to curl an arm around her, just below her shoulderblades, and pull them together. The smaller body was warm and deliciously curved, pressed down the length of her own. It was a delicious contrast, something she looked forward to exploring more fully.
"I can fill those needs..." Cin said as she brushed lips together, sliding fingers into the pale hair to explore where hair gave way to soft fur and delicate ears. "As long as you can satisfy mine."
The half youma chuckled as she drew the Mauvian to the side so she could set her glass down on a side table before gently taking the cup from her as well. It freed her hands to find hips and hair again, to draw Dahlia closer and seek out a fuller kiss this time. It would be interesting, to explore the difference between this woman and normal humans, and a chance to see what her own lovers dealt with. Iris_virus fade to black here or on your post? <3

There was a great desire in Dahlia to tease Cinnabar mildly about the irony of her asking or demanding sexual favors after just stating moments before the desire not to trade sexual favors for anything. But Dahlia stilled her words, simply smiling in great amusement. She supposed when she thought about it, it was a little bit different sex for sex versus sex for... something else. And there had never been any question in the fact that she'd planned to reciprocate the attention given to her.
"Of course, that's half the fun." The cat purred. A little bit of give and take, the satisfaction of causing a positive reaction. A noise of pleasure escaped the Mauvian as Cinnabar's fingers sought out her ears, brushing lightly against the delicate appendages that flicked and shifted a little under the affection. She wondered if being with Cinnabar would be more similar to when she'd been with other Mauvians, who were clearly more in tune with the special sensations that could only be wrought through feline appendages. Eyes focusing on the scales near Cinnabar's horns she couldn't help but wonder if the General's tail would be as sensitive, or what the other woman's scales would feel like against her skin. Or how much of her body was truly covered in those scales.
Her liquor was taken from her without any resistance and as she was pulled into the taller woman's arms and a kiss her own arms looped around Cinnabar's neck, fingers gently exploring the soft and smooth scales that lined the back it. Supported by her arms and her tiptoes she pressed against the half youma enjoying the strange feeling of the firm severity of Cinnabar's uniform alongside the delicate sheerness of her own. So very different, but not unpleasant. Perhaps like a youma and a cat. Two things that shouldn't be together or work in theory. Theories were meant to be tested however.
Cinnabar's teeth were as sharp as her own, Dahlia discovered as she explored the other woman's mouth, perhaps even more so. And even amid the kiss Dahlia's lips twitched in the desire to smile. If she was going to find herself overtaken and devoured tonight by the youma well.. the least she could do was make sure it was a night worthy of being her last one. Whimsical Blue Fadeeeeeee heart If you'd ever like her for an rp (whether I actually post and play with you or you just reference that she's off scene somewhere dampening for Cinnabar) you're totally free to use and abuse her. ;3
