As far as Lyssa could remember she could see, smell and hear the vibrations left behind. She could catch the scent of when a book was closed, or watch the shadows dancing under a lit doorway that was never there. Ate had claimed it was because she was insane, special, touched. She didnt know what any of that meant, only that she saw and did what others would considered strange. Yet there was nothing strange in her actions. All had purpose, all were special. She was the in-between of things and she had things to do.
Like meeting him tonight. She didn't know it was going to happen of course, only that when she saw him she knew she had been waiting at this very spot for him to arrive. He must have known too because he walked with no hint of regret or despair and he was very much in his normal state, yes so very much so.
She couldn't catch his name though. No matter how the ants tried to bite her in their special way she couldn't hear his name on their tongues. No she would have to meet him, she would have to meet and speak and maybe, just maybe, he would try to listen. Even if his mind was all foggy with the light.
Jumping down from the tree she had waited in while watching the white Ragamuffin enter the park, she make a running gallop towards him. Her tail was swinging wildly from right to left and then up and down causing her hind legs to twist and turn uncontrollably so that she appeared to be dancing with her back legs only. She didn't let it slow her down until she was nearly upon him, her breathing heavy and her voice strained she spoke before he had chance too. "YouR LatE, the FloWers Are SleepiNG In The nighT GarDEN and we havE yeT to sing THem GoodniGHT. DiD you Work ON youR acapella?"

Snowball's tail twitched he could feel a vague chaos aura. Though it was as if it was distant. His ears flicked and ignored whatever he felt heading towards the park to stretch.
He paused when he seen a reddish hued blur, eyes squinting, no it wasn't a blur as she came closer he could see a cat running awkwardly. Was she drunk? He stopped when she started talking, yup had to be drunk, on what he wasn't sure.
He tried not to think too long on his response in case it was a trap, but it could also be a trap to answer it . . . The male figured best to answer, "I was not aware, we were to sing to~night! Though I find I can fair on acapella, what of you and your arpeggios?"
He seemed at least pleased with his response even if she wasn't impressed.
Lyssa nodded feverishly at the snow white cat, her eyes blinking quickly as she tried to slow her heads rapid bobbing. She pushed her face down sideways into the dirt to stop it completely before waving a paw at him. "YoU knOW I OnlY siNG ArPeGGioS on a TUesdaY ChArliE. Meoo-Wth!"The noise from her own throat seemed to startle her as she flipped over attacked the leaves in front of her grabbing big bundles of dirt between her claws. Satisfied she had killed what ever was making the meowing noise she rose back up to stare at him. He was beautiful. His fur crisp and clear without a smugin of dirt to be accounted for. Lyssa felt great pity for him as he would never know the joys of the little bitty fleas that kept her company.
"You So siLLy CharLIE, Now we StaRT from the TOP, never The Bottom for that Is always The middlE of the eND." She breathed in deeply to start her sqreeching where her eyes caught the white star in the middle of his forehead, her eyes closing into slits as she studied it. WhERe is youR darKness. I see OnlY lighT in yOu. That will Never do. Never, NeVer, Never noT do." She approached him, sniffing the air so hard he would be able to see her nostrils move as she gathered closer. Her fur at the back of her nape had begun to raise as the penny finally dropped.
"You Are A LIGHT BearER! Order! You Will Never Do!"

So sorry for the belated reply!
Snowball watched and listened as Lyssa spoke, sung? Whatever she was doing and he seemed to at least be attentive. He tried not to chuckle either when she attacked the leaves and dirt, giving a gracious nod, "Seems you taught them a lesson."
He paused though as she began to speak again, and told him to start from the top and not the bottom. Granted the bottom was not always the middle of the end though he supposed it could be.
There was another second as she started to sniff the air and well, kind of flip on him. "My dear, I maybe a light bearer, as you called me. Though I do enjoy speaking to those that are not always upon my point of view. For my side of the fence, I only see what I can see and experience what it is there. You're a strange, interesting new side of the fence with a different perspective. Are you sure, I won't do?"
He was hoping to calm her down, and make a little sense out of what she spoke.
Cocking her head to the side Lyssa listened to the light guardian throw his pretty words around, watching them spark and flutter as they left his mouth and swam into the air. Yes his words were calming, beautiful, crisp like autumn leaves, but they left an unsightly sour note behind each syllable and she started to roll her nose as if smelling something really, really bad. "ShhSsses, shhhEEses - yoU wiSH to tempt me with Your canDy flavored limericks! BuT I know THe Truth beHind Your Eyes."She squinted, bringing her head closer to his as she looked for something, something suspect. She saw then the twinkle! The light hitting his pupil just so and the wind brushing his fur just right that the trees sang with alarm and panic. He wasn't just a light bearer!
Recoiling in horror Lyssa swiped out, her paw missing him completely but he couldn't have missed the very clear intention of the nails she extended mid throw. Fur rising she hissed and spat, her eyes no longer holding the sweet manic tint but were deadly and slitted.
"HiisssSSs you ArE BondED! CharLIe you LieD to me! BonDED witH a hat of golD!!" Again she hit out but missed, fear in her making it difficult to move closer to the guardian that sat before her. The trees continued to wail all around her, screaming their protest at the Order cat that sat before her. He needed to be destroyed, returned to the void at all cost!
Lowering herself to the ground she brought her hind legs up, her back end wiggling slightly as she readied herself to pounce.

Snowball's tail flicked as he watched her, brows furrowing in concern though he didn't seem to move when she stretched her paw, claws extended to smack at him. He did his best not to flinch.
Maybe if she saw he wasn't here to fight her, or cause her trouble? Just to talk?
Though, it seemed that would be little lived. As she readied herself to pounce. "Now, now my dear; I have not lied to you." He said as he was doing his best to keep a serious face, and deal with her as a gentle cat should.
He paused though when she said bonded. "Bonded? With a senshi? Well of course I am." His brows furrowed. "Though I still haven't lied to you my dear. For had I known you'd wished me to be forth coming, I would have. I thought you simply wanted someone to sing with~."
He was still sitting stock still, "So I mean, can't we just talk about this?" If she did actually attack him, he'd have to fight back. That was a thought he did not enjoy.

Lyssa had momentarily forgotten what she was doing and was now twerking, her mind singing the music man song to get into a rhythm as she shook what her mama gave her, her body moves more seizure than dance. It was only when the Light Guardian spoke of talking that she snapped back to the here and now, her eyes narrowing with mistrust.
"SinGINg is PersONAl, ItS is a SharinG of Notes and Pitch, Of ART and Anacondas. I WaS wrong aBout you. I thouGHT you FriEND but You Are EnemY to me AND my Goddess. Unless you WanT to speak oF Joining US, I am sorry But my tunES are noT for you. We Will Have to Fight."
She then started squeaking the battle tune from Star Trek and pacing around the snow white feline.

Snowball's tail flickered softly. He was trying not to lose his cool as the strange cat spoke. Then she started squeaking the battle tune from Star Trek.
Snowball wasn't sure what to make of her. His jaw had dropped and he was staring quite perplexed. She wanted to fight? "My darling, I really don't want to fight you. Though I shain't join you either."
He paused as she paced around him. He sighed, he was sure that he was larger than her weighing in at nearly twenty-five pounds of ragamuffin. He really didn't want to hurt her either. He'd let her have the first strike. "However, I don't hit ladies unless they hit me first." He said he had to keep some dignity, after all.

Maybe if Lyssa was slightly more sane, and maybe, just maybe, if the groups of ants that had just arrived weren't egging her on she may have realized the fruitlessness of this endeavor. But one, she was neither sane and two, she was a fool for peer pressure...and then of course she wouldn't be able to live it down at the next Ants against Termites convention next weekend in Delaware. Oh yes, you could bet Sandra would be throwing this back in her face. Ohhh yess.

How big is Lyssa? /curious
Snowball's eyes widened and he went on the defensive when the other was talking to . . . "Who's Sandra?" He couldn't help but ask even as she was aiming to rip him a new one.
The larger male cat aimed a swipe back at her trying to avoid her face; he wouldn't mar anyone's face if he could help it; but he was hoping to go for somewhere hopefully effective as she managed to get some skin in her first attempt. He hissed, turns out Snowball wasn't all fur after all. Just 90% of him was fur.
Lyssa's claws connected but not deep enough to cause anything more than a stinging scratch, her strength and weight unable to truly get beneath the fur of the Ragamuffin, but it was enough for her to feel the resistance and know she had stuck true. The paw he shot out at her did indeed miss her face and instead slid along the top side of her torso, pulling at fur and flesh along the way. The Guardian before her was much stronger than she, maybe not as equals in their humans forms but as cats she would be completely overwhelmed.
But she had never listened to reason before.
Twisting she flipped back onto all fours, her lips and ears pulled back in a snarl as she hissed at in anger, the sound just as high and unusual as her purr.
"HhiiIsSSss, DonT preTEnd You Don'T know HER! YouR prOBably IN CaHootS!! All White MOOn Guardians ARE the same. LiARS! LIARS And CahooTerS!!" With another piercing scream she launched herself back at him, her intention now to hook on to his sturdy body and bite into his neck. She bunched her feet up against her body to allow her to paddle him with her hind paws and hopefully tear through the tick layer of fur that had protected him so well. Her paws like talons she began tearing into the soft white cloud of his body hoping to hit anything solid.

She is medium sized but very skinny cause she doesn't eat right so she is basically just fur and bone, Snowball would be able to flatten her in seconds with his weight, and you are more than welcome to give her a good few cuts and bruises! XD
