God help her, of course it had to be under strange and dire circumstances that the whole family would be able to meet in person. Adelaide knew it would have always been the case after a week with no sign of them at all, but it didn't make the pill any easier to swallow. Eventually she managed to coordinate with the boys over the radio where to go, which in and of itself had been a pleasant surprise. At the very least after this, they'd always have a form of contact.
(Well, assuming something didn't happen, the ghost in her skin was quick to point out.)
Leaning against the bar and doing her very best not to fall into temptation for more drinks (she didn't want another drugged episode; damn you, logic), she waited for the pair to come over. Adelaide was pretty easy to pick out next to the slim, smart looking staff, with all those colorful layers on.

Dazs ran up to her as fast as his skinny legs would go. He talked s**t a lot, was a sarcastic little as as a defense, but he was only fifteen. And he'd been told he would likely die. His price was so damn high that'd he'd almost cried looking in the mirror. But more than himself, he knew his mom was here, and his brother and they would die too if he didn't win enough. Dazs wasn't a winner, he was a painter, a coaster, not lucky. But for now, all he was was fifteen and scared.
So Adelaide received a very, very tight hug and a Dazs burying his face in all the layer she wore.
"Mom. How much are you?"

G-Man was not as quick to approach their mother as Dasz had been, but then again, he had only just seen her the day before, and he also wanted to give his lil bro space to reunite on his own for a few moments before sauntering over and interrupting the moment. The sign around his own neck boasted a number that was slightly higher than Dasz's, but he had fallen back into his usual boisterous facade and feigned optimism.
But no matter how much he smiled, or how cheerfully he presented his words, their was no hiding the haunted look in his eyes, the one that spoke volumes to how harrowing his ordeal in those past couple of hours since he had walked through those casino doors had been.
He approached the two and stopped just short, hands going into the front pocket of his stained hoody as he let his gaze slide down to the value hung around his mother's neck.
"Fffftt, now that's just insultin, yo! Whoever did your valuatin is obviously blindsies. Bizzwitches be needing some glasses."

Adelaide couldn't hold Dazs tighter if she had titanium arms; now that neither shoulder was broken, she was making full use of her upper arm strength. At least neither of her sons had to worry about her tearing up like she had upon first finding G-man; there was too much at stake to waste time with tears.
"Feh!" She slapped Daz's shoulder before breaking the hug and forcing the older brother in as well, arms creeping around their shoulders. "115. Ageists. Wrinkles're nature's poetry lines, ya know."
But her grin dipped when she saw the matching signs on both Dazs and G-man's necks. Got to be shittin' me, she thought. What she said instead was, "Huh, guess you two really are prizes, huh?" She tried to inject her usual tough love into it, but it was just too hard. The more challenges each faction faced, the more Adelaide wished she had never left the house on Day Zero.
"So. We're busting you two out first. Don't ********' sass me on that," she was quick to add, pinching their shoulders ineffectively through all their layers. "Boss'll cover me easy."

Dazs sniffled quite audibly as his mother let go. Well, she only let go to draw Giuseppe in, too, so that was alright. ********, but it was ******** nice to see her, to have a kind of physical confirmation more than some disembodied voice on the radio. As the days had stretched on, Dazs had pleaded mentally with every god he could remember (not many) promising them he'd take the trash out on time, be good, be the best goddamn little brother a body every saw - if only he could see his mom again. Well, he thought, he obviously owed some kinda god with sick humor because while they were meeting again, it was under such circumstances. Deadly circumstances.
"Mom, cheaper is good! And no, no, no, we got to get you out first. You guys.... I have some s**t I can sell maybe. The junkyard guys are making a killing giving people coins. For stuff, of course. We..." He faltered. "We can get everybody out, ok!" They had to. Things couldn't end like some ******** casino au of neon genesis evangelion. There wasn't even a ******** robot.... he thought.

G-Man stumbled into the hug, muscles tensing, eyes flinching as he was still wired and on high alert from what he'd been forced to witness. But as his mom's arm went around him, and with his brother pressed to his side, he soon eased into it, relaxing, eyes closing as he could, for just the briefest of moments, experience one small, genuine spark of happiness, even if that spark came with it a sharp pang of longing for days long since past, for a time before the grisly mayham.
He breathed a long sigh through his nose before he pulled away.
"We all gettin out of here, aight? Nobody gettin left behind to be cut apart an' wrapped up like packages of roast, even if I am the primest of ribsies of this fam.
"An sellin shiz can be a last rez. Let's not throw away resources so quick."

Dazs got a swat on the head. "Cheaper isn't good!" she chastised him. "I oughta been worth at least a diamond! Damn fool boy, what'd I say about contestin' my decision? Get some damn seniority rights up here..." It was all just an act, that much was obvious, but Adelaide played it as straight as she could.
"And you!" G-man got a swat next. "Talkin' about ribsies when we in the middle of a cannibal casino? Have some decency. I'm ********' hungry for some meat thanks to you." More hot air, more relief she could just be her stupid self with their stupid selves in tandem. Seh had to fight not to laugh through her stern looks.
"Now c'mon, you two numbnuts. We don't have a lot of time to gamble, so. Plan A: park our asses at a poker table and play until we get someone enough damn coins to go, sound good?"

The primest of ribsies? "Giuseppe, you are not a sandwich," Dazs pointed out helpfully. He'd noticed the change sin his brother ever since everything went to s**t and back. He wondered if he had changed, too - he didn't like the thought. It sat on him like an uncomfortable cloak. Dazs knew it was silly to wish every thing was back to normal or even to wish they'd all get out of this (Whatever this was) alive, whole. Together. But a boy could have dreams, maybe. He'd painted his dreams before, but the world was a little too real for him to be able to lose himself in painting. A can of spray painted rattled around in his pack.
The urge to just ******** spray over all the glitz and glamour of the place was almost overwhelming. But Dazs breathed deeply, and listened to his mom. "Yeah, I'll keep the stuff unless we don't have enough to get everyone out. I don't wanna leave either of you behind." It was not a future he could fathom, anyway.
"Yeah, let's get going. I'll grab a table."

G-Man ducked away from the swat that he knew was headed his way with a laugh, his spirits lifting, if only momentarily, because of the dynamics between he and his family. G hadn't even known how much he missed it quite so much until now, and he knew that while this meet up couldn't last, that once they were out of here (because they would all get out, that wasn't even up for dispute!), but that wasn't going to stop him from attempting to enjoy and savor every moment that he had with them together right now.
"Ah, well I had a can a spam I coulda let you have, but I already traded for some coin." He said to his mom with a grin. "An before you go tellin me off for tradin out food for my freedom when we gots other ways to win, that shiz is nasteh, yo! Straight in an back out the A-shizzler in no time. Ain't doin this bod any good anyways."
And the to Dasz. "Ya but if I was I would be the finest damn sandwhich ever, ya know what I'm sayin? But okay okay, let's do this then. I got this, yo. We got this. Ain't know way this is the way we go out, aight?"
With that, he followed the two of them to a table.
