It was...well, underwhelming of sort. All of the grievous searching and killing Undyings and other things... The Harbinger's leader just swept all of that below the rug. Including some fatalities.
The leaders of each faction, however, did get some strange 'weapons'. It has been demonstrated, and yes, each of that weapons that looked like it belongs to a D&D players' collection DID exterminate the Undying-without even leaving a speck.
Also, somehow, the time somehow seems to pass more slowly than before. He can fell into a slumber, awakened, checked his clock only to find that only two hours passed. Also, somehow, the 'blindness' has been healed without him knowing.
What exactly happened to his body?
BOOOOM
A thunderous sound stopped his minds on the fast track on truth. Fireworks? Who the darned heck gosh to god even thought lighting that would be a good idea!? He cursed and braced himself---the other survivors also did the same, all of them huddled into a large ring formation, temporarily forgetting about their Factions. With a sound that loud, Undyings will-!
"...?"
It was not only him that's confused. There's not even one Undying popped out, even if the night started to fell. Some people suggested to search out for who, or what exactly launched those fireworks. Is it the relief squad? Is it another Faction that they didn't know exist?
The leaders of each Faction looked at each other before nodding to each other in understanding. They each raised one of the 'weapon' and pointed forth, rallying their members.
They arrived at what looked like a gaudy casino. The path into the casino was separated into two directions-left, and right.
Unsure what to take, he took out a dime out of his pocket and flipped it. Heads he'll go left, tails, right.
PING. He tossed the coin on the air and failed to catch it. The coin bounced to the right path.
"Ah well." He groaned, bending down to pick the coin. when he did so, something on the ground attracted his attention.
A leaf. A fresh leaf...but of what kind?
He looked around but didn't see any trees or plants with leaves this shape. Where did this come from?
Also, there's something...mysterious about this leaf. Not about the shape, not about the strange shade of green it was colored. Something he can't quite put a finger of. He pocketed the leaf, thinking that he might be able to identify it when they're back to the mall---or he can just grab one of the University Faction's students. Maybe they can tell him.
...at that time, he doesn't in the slightest knew THAT is going to happen.

They all entered the casino in confusion. Really, what the actual ******** atmosphere was rich with smoke from tobacco, perfume, a hint of sweat, a lot of wine and drinks.
What. Are these people. DOING. In the middle of a disaster!?
He tried to ask around for information, but to no avail. Everyone's seems to be...drowned in their games, like there's nothing else that matters.
Looking around, he can't see any other people from the Factions-he knew that because their Uniforms. There's only peoples with suits, dresses and fancy cosmetics in here-
Suddenly a person popped from beside him. He, the attendant of the casino handed him a small bag with coins inside. Also a fancy-looking cocktail that he didn't drink. He did mention some 'fantastic prizes'...
What are those prizes? Food? Drinks? Weapons?
He looked at the nearest games from his position. There are Slot machines lined up, making impressive rows...nah. Tables for Poker and Blackjack...
He asked to the dealer what's the rule. The dealer said that the first game was free.
And so he played, just for testing the waters.
He managed to get a pair of Queens and high-numbered cards. It wasn't a bad hand in Poker, but if it was Blackjack he'd be instantly out.
The Dealer handed him five measly coins for his victory. It's not that bad though.
[Total Coins = 55]

After a while of walking around, looking for another of his Faction members, STRANGE drowsiness assaulted Saul's mind. He know this sensation; it's like being sedated slowly-when his appendix was removed, he got the same feeling of being floaty and extremely tired---did someone drugged him? No, if the drug was in the air, everyone around him would pass out, too. He didn't drink or eat anything...
"-dangit."
He looked at his hand, grabbing the coin bag. He DID felt the bag was strangely moist, but he didn't paid it much concern...was the sleeping drug---
"Ladieeeees and Gentlemaaaaaaan!Tonight we're all here for the usual events!"
---was there someone speaking? Their voices seems...strangely distant.
"Tonight is the night you might claim the prize! Or should I say PRICE."
The sound is now booming strangely. Saul groaned, lifted his heavy eyelids and blinked few times.
"...huh?" He found himself strapped to a chair with strong-looking ropes.
The voice from earlier continued and explained that...somehow, he became a prize in this casino (like all other 'players' before him), and he must buy his way out from this place.
WHAT THE HELL.
Human trafficking? Organ dealers? His mind suddenly full of gore-related images. He missed the chance to ask when prompted tobecause his mind is in utter disarray.
All of a sudden, his chair-AND him was lifted away by a frail-looking attendant...HOW THE HECK did he did it? It was physically impossible given his build-
And he was dropped inside a room. The announcer explained that he CAN buy one from the two losers at the last game and became their patron. There's two people here, a desperate-looking woman and jittery-looking kid.
Who should he chose?
"...can I flip a coin?" he jokingly asked, but a cocking sound of a gun behind his head quickly brought him to full concentration.
His eyes darted between the two; who can he trust? The kid? Or the woman?
"...the lady, please." He said after a long silence. Immediately the workers did their job, released the non-chosen person and violently subdues him, before dragging the limp body into a room adjecent to this one, hidden behind a door.
He was interested in what lies beyond the door, but chose not to. Either way, there's still a SLIGHT chance it may spell doom for both of them.
Then they were escorted into other room, a windowless washroom. The guard said to 'get yer appearances sharp' and thus they alternated turns to wash the cold sweat away.
The lady was taken after muttering a quick 'thank you', and he can't discard the chance that both of the lady and the boy was just a trap to further deplete the coins he had.
He was then escorted back to the casino. Now, he can see the Faction members-some angrily grabbing their coin bags, some desperately begging for coins from other players, some looked completely lost---
He wanted to warn the 'new' ones, but small red dots appeared on his chest area. Looking at the source, he was glared from beyond the black glasses.
What the ********. Humanity, what the actual ******** Coins = 55]
