Like most people, G-Man had first assumed that the fireworks going off in the sky had been somebodies way of drawing undying to a certain area, for whatever reason. Still, no matter what they were being used for, he had felt a strong desire to watch them, even if just from behind the safety of the malls glass doors and the barricade that kept them closed.

But it wasn't long before he noticed something, and that was to say, that he noticed nothing. There were no undying shambling by in the direction of the loud noises. Where hordes of them should have been, there was only emptiness, and over his radio, it seemed that others were coming to the same realization as him.

And what was more, it sounded as if many were going to investigate.

His mood still a little bit off since the news of Becca's death and his small argument with Megan over the radio that he knew he was at least partially to blame for, G-Man made a hasty decision in that moment, and that was to go and see for himself what was going down. So, with a quick message to his mother and little brother sent out on the radio, he set out, on his own, towards zone 2.

--------------

It quickly became apparent once he got to the area where the fireworks had come from. The Casino's lights practically lit up the area as clear as day, it's flashing lights and sounds easily drawing him in. Within moments, he was pushing his way inside, before standing, gaping in awe, at what he came across.

"Hollllllyyyy shiizzzzniiiit." He breathed out.

It was like he had walked through those doors and into a different world entirely. Had somebody knocked him out? Was this some kind of strange dream? The smells, the sounds, the people playing on the machines, looking as if they had just been here this whole time, it was more than just surreal.

It was downright unbelievable.

But G-Man didn't really have a lot of time to take it all in before he was approached by a man with a drink. He eyed the martini perched upon it's tray with a slightly forlorn expression, wanting but knowing it was not the best idea. After all, the radio signals messages had seemed confusing, and rather mixed. He had yet to find out for himself how trustworthy the people were who were running this little operation (and what an operation it was!).

He declined the drink, but when he was offered the currency required to actually play in some of the games, currency that they were just simply giving away? Well, how could he refuse that! "Ehhhhhhhhhh, thanks, dawg! You a real B-roseph, ya know?" He smiled, and pocketed the casino coins, before being directed towards the machines themselves.

Which to choose, which to choose......?

G-Man wasn't a gambling man, usually, only having poker nights with his friends (who were all likely dead by now) but the coins were free and pretty much of no use anymore otherwise. The slot machines called to him with all of their flashing lights and interesting sounds, and he made his way towards one, taking it for a spin by pulling down on the handle.

Two coins won. Score!

He saw no reason not to continue, so he pulled the handle a second time, only to be rewarded again with the dinging of bells and flashing of lights and sound of two more coins falling out of the machine.

This was actually pretty fun! He couldn't understand why some people on the radio sounded so unhappy.

One more spin of the ol' slot machine because why not? He was winning every spin and enjoying himself immensely. It was a nice break, a welcome distraction from the outside world, and he could see why there were so many others filling the casino chairs. There was a sense of normalcy about the whole thing.

Two more coins were won. He was starting to think he could have been a professional gambler had the A-Poc not come and turned his world upside down and inside out and torn to shreds.

Suddenly, G-Man didn't feel so great. He was hot and dizzy, and he wondered briefly of his head injury hadn't healed up as well as he'd hoped it had, as his vision began to blur and he started to feel ill. Soon he was leaning against the slot machine in front of him, his eyes closed. If it was anything like before, it would pass soon.

But it didn't pass, it only got worse, and when he pushed himself back from the machine, his head spinning, alarm bells ringing, his first thought was that he had to get out. He had to leave. He had been stupid to think that this wasn't just a tra---

Everything went black before he could even take two steps towards the door.

When he awoke again, his head still felt groggy. Soon, however, his panic overrode anything else, clearing his mind as he struggled to figure out what was going on. It wasn't long before he was instead struggling against the restraints that kept him tied to his chair, instead, and when the voice began to speak, he made angry sounds of protest in the back of his throat.

A piss poor explanation of what was going on was given, but for G-Man, it wasn't enough. He had questions, and he wanted answers! At that moment, he wasn't thinking that making demands could lead to his death. He was just angry.

They seemed to sense this, and hauled him, chair and all, into another room. At this point, he was forced to listen again, and given a choice, and finally allowed to speak.

The choice...the choice was a horrifying thing. What the hell were they forcing him into, here? He was silent for a time, processing his options, eyes flicking from the woman and the man who's lives were, allegedly, in his hands. He thought it through, his mind racing. The woman..she reminded him of Becks, somebody who's life was torn away far too prematurely. He hated to do this, to make this decision, but if he had to.

"The girl." His voice was rough. "I choose the---"

Before he could say more, the man was hauled away, and G caught a glimpse of the room beyond.

"What're you doing with him? Wa's in there?" He asked, while the woman, who was sobbing with relief, suddenly stopped and shook her head at him.

The voice asked him if he really wanted to know.

"Ya! I really wanna know. Why'd I bother ta ask if I didn't wanna...."

The next few moments for G were a nightmare of screams, the buzzing of a saw, the sound of blood splatter and spray, of body parts hacked off woman while she still lived and breathed, until either pain or blood loss knocked her out and made her quiet just a split second before her breathing stopped.

The smell of blood and other, gorier things was so strong, too strong. The sounds of her screams echoed in his ears and were sure to fill his nightmares, as would the images of her being buzzed to pieces and wrapped up like so much beef. It was his fault, he knew. His insistence was what had killed her.

"You...you disgusting...." He tried to say, but his stomach heaved and he gagged, and for the next few moments it was all he could do to keep the contents of his stomach down while they finished up, before they eventually untied him and led him towards a pair of doors.

He had yet to notice that he had been sprayed with the woman's blood.

He was led back through the doors, then, pale and trembling. He didn't trust himself to open his mouth to speak, at that point, and likely couldn't have without upchucking his stomach, anyways. With a dull expression he looked around, finally realizing what he should have known from the start.

The players were all prisoners, forced to gamble on their lives.
