A....casino? What the hell is this? They were in the middle of the apocalypse - people dying, scarce resources including electricity, and there was a casino with damn near thousands of lights just active here in the city. This was not okay and something was seriously going on. Was it the junkyard that was doing this? Or maybe it was the bandits? Her arm was even feeling better and all the vines ugh what the hell. There was only one thing that was certain about this entire thing to her, and it was that there were no undying going towards it. Was it a bad idea? Probably. Stupid to just blindly run in? No doubt. But if she didn't go in she wouldn't figure out anything and would simply be stuck where she was with no information. Sighing, she pushed open the doors and made her way into the strange place. Hopefully this was the right choice.

Diana really had no idea what this all was or why there were people just casually playing games. It all looked just like a normal casino. People were playing different games such as poker and the slot machines, others were drinking and smoking and just having a merry old time. Didn't they know what was going on outside?? There were undying, people being killed, chaos! She couldn't understand why these people were simply ignoring what was happening or why they weren't phased by any of it. Didn't they care that they were all in serious danger and had been struggling to survive? A man in a fine suit was quick to offer her a cocktail, that was for certain. Were they trying to get them drunk? Maybe lower their inhibitions to the point of them being more easily convinced? A strange thudding sound came over her radio, she could've swore it was from the Boss' radio.
"Boss?" the man in the suit asked her again if she'd like a cocktail. Turning away from her radio for the moment she gave him a rather short reply. "Oh no thank you I really don't want any alcohol." Glancing around, she tried to locate anyone. She was sure she'd heard the Boss now she just needed to find him. If she was going to stay alert and keep her eyes peeled for anything strange going on, not that it wasn't strange enough already, she would have to do it without any influence of alcohol or any other thing. She worried about Max and where he had wandered off to, and she really hoped he had gotten all of his sight back. Her arm was practically healed so she could only assume that his injury would have been healed as well, but she still worried. Running her hands nervously through her hair she almost missed the finely dressed man speaking to her again.
He said they used something called casino coins here. For...prizes? What sort of prizes? Like things to help her survive? She was really getting a bad feeling about this entire ordeal, and maybe now she should've just ignored it all and stayed home. It was too late for that though, and if there were supplies that could have the prison out in some small way. Well....maybe one game couldn't hurt, could it? Wandering over to the first table she spotted she sat down and was dealt out some cards. So she was playing poker. She could only hope she hadn't just signed her death wish. A couple rounds and she had gotten a pair! It wasn't a great success, but it was still something.
I can help this way. I can.

Where...where the hell was she? She felt sore and confused, and when she tried to call out or turn she figured out just how bad the situation she was in. Of course it was a trap just like they'd thought, and now they were in this big mess. Oh she would cry if she felt like she could. A loud voice boomed over..speakers? She supposed that was what it was, since there wasn't a direct person in front of her saying anything. So they were in some sort of game for their life? Way to be real original with that. They all had different values and prices. Every single one of them. If they didn't get bought then they went to the casino. For good she guessed. Oh she was furious. No one owned her. She wasn't property to be sold and bought, she was a person!! If this was the bandits doing oh she would figure out some way to get back at them. At this point she was wishing they had the undying back. At least with the undying they had choices and could move freely. Now, now they were practically cattle until they could buy themselves or have someone else buy them. To say she was worried was an understatement. She was a lot of things, and when the announcer asked if they had any questions she attempted to speak up to give him an ear full only to get shot down and denied that right to. Everything was just happening so fast, and then another person in a suit lifted her entire chair off the ground like some sort of extreme body builder. She was shocked and then thrown into another room with two more people. They're both in a similar situation and as the announcer confirmed as such she sighed the best she could.
These poor people have probably been in here longer than I have.
Now they were giving her a choice to redeem one of them. She didn't want any of this at all. Why, why why?? She didn't want to be responsible for anyone's life but her own! She didn't want to make decisions like this. The young lady seemed older, and the boy. He was just a teenager. As much as she hated to admit, she knew who she was going to save the minute she saw them. Diana ran over to the boy quickly trying to untie him as the woman screamed as she was dragged away into another room. As the binds slid off the boy he jumped up and ran, quickly being gunned down by bullets from somewhere. She....she hadn't been able to save either of them. Maybe if she'd pick the woman, or maybe if she'd done something different. Tried to calm the boy. He was so young. With that the announcer was done and continued on, leaving her to her own to think of the boy and the woman and if she could have done anything differently.

Diana wandered numbly through after everything, arriving back in the casino where she had been stupidly playing before oblivious to everything. She saw faction members and others wandering through, playing games, some even smiling. They wouldn't be soon enough. They didn't realize what sort of hell this was and when they did she hoped they didn't have to go through the same thing she did. No one needed to go through something like that. She would play their games for now and build up these coins, and then she would save as many people as she could. She didn't want to see anyone in the situation they were in.
