To say he was anything but a gentlehorse would just be plain rude of whomever thought as such, though who was to say who thought that way unless they said it aloud? It's not like someone could hear an others thoughts or anything. What kind of nonsense would that be?
Ludicrous, that's what it would be. Though how could he possibly refer to anyone else as being insane when he didn't even have a name. Or perhaps being nameless was his name and he just hadn't realized it yet.
He shook his head. No, that definitely was not the case. He HAD a name, it was just the fact his name was eluding him right now and there wasn't much the dapper male could do about it. So he straightened his vest and hock cuffs and cocked his monocle slightly and wished at that moment he had a mustache. Oh how grand it would be to have one.
However, wishing never really got anyone anywhere so it was best not to dwell on things that couldn't be had. The contrary thing to that would be his name, he could definitely wish for a name as he already had one, it was just remembering what said name was turned out to be the issue at hoof. Though as long as no one asked him what his name was, would it really be an issue? He supposed he should wish that he encounters no one, but that would be rather dull and he didn't like dull.
Green eyes glinted and he couldn't help the smirk that formed upon his fine features as he moved along. He was sure his name would come to him, but until then, there was much to be done! He tipped his hat every so slightly atop his head and off he went in a leisurely stride to figure out why it was he couldn't remember who he was. It was likely that he had never been given a name to have and that was why he couldn't remember, though he rightfully didn't know if that was fact of fiction.
Though who was to say what was real and what wasn't. Only the person telling would really know the truth unless you were there to witness it as well, but then again what was the point of talking to someone if you didn't believe a word they were saying? Surely not everything was composed of fiction, though not everything was composed of fact either.
Either way he gave a shrug. It was neither here or there so why should he worry about such ponderings? Besides, he had a few more important things to worry about right now. Like finding some company and figuring out his name.
