Rajni stared at her room assignment. Why. Why zelda? Why did you hate her? Why did you inflict this upon chubby, unfit Rajni?
The nineteenth floor.
Rajni begged for a different assignment, look for anyone to trade with, but of course nobody wanted to trade for the nineteenth floor. She was trapped, stuck tromping up stairs for the better part of the day because she had to take a break every two or so floors.
Note to self: never sign up for housekeeping again.

By the time Rajni actually reached the nineteenth floor she actually had to take a short, thirty minute-or-so break, lest she puke right there on the stairs. Why they had to tidy up an apartment that NOBODY was using was beyond her- as far as Rajni was concerned, as long as there wasn't undying, it didn't matter.
When she opened the door she was greeted with a similar sight of terror; she almost preferred undying. At least with undying you killed them, they were dead, it was dealt with.
This filth ... was going to take all day.

There was nothing for Rajni to do except begin scrubbing. And scrubbing. Oh god this was terrible.
There was moldy food everywhere (such a waste when they were all starving) and the remnants of paints and paint splatters. A real artist had lived ******** you artist.

She continued the scrub. She preferred security duty.

She didn't so much walk down the stairs as she did stumble until she hit a shower.
