Her eyesight had finally returned thank the lord. She had never been so happy to see again even if it still all looked the same. Which meant today she was going to be useful! Today she was going to get things done that would help her fraction. Which meant starting with helping to barricade windows and doors down.

Lorena had found a particularly open area that really needed to be fixed up. This part of the building held a few bookcases and Lorena decided to use those to cover the windows. Gripping one end Lorena slowly began to pull the bookcase over to the window, once in place she brought over another one and pushed it over so it leaned against the first one. She moved on to the next window.

This next window seemed to already have been broken into, Lorena decided she’d put two bookcases in front of it with one leaning instead of just one. She had a good amount of them anwyays so she may as well use them all. Picking the bookcases that had little or no books, Lorena got them into position before tilting the third into place. Nothing was getting in through this.

The last window also got a single bookcase with one over it; the windows there also weren’t broken. Lorena wanted to keep the last bookcase that was left for the door. Anything that did manage to get inside would have to go through the door covered by the bookcase and anyone trying to get in would simply have to push the bookcase aside.

The bookcase barely fit through the door, Lorena had to slightly tilt it before it could pass through. Once on the other side she closed the door and pushed the bookcase into place. The room was officially completely secured, Lorena was quite proud of herself on this one and thankful to have her eyesight back.
