- Scavenge the office building for supplies
OOC: You will need to scavenge the local office building (STAPLES) for supplies. Any information you discover within the building can be used for later.

[ Step 1 ] Each player must roll 4d10 in their post. Match your dice to the rolls below. RP it out in ANY order.

1. Your character finds a stapler. It doesn't seem very useful. It is still attached to an arm, that has long begun it's final stages of decay. Attached to the bracelet of the arm is a name. "R O R...." the rest is missing.

2. Your character finds boxes and boxes of receipts. It doesn't look very informative.

3. Your character turns the corner and finds one of the undying! They must remain quiet for a bit to avoid being caught. If your character wishes to fight it instead for some reason, the undying has 50 HP and does -5 auto damage.

4. Your character finds a stray cat. It doesn't seem very friendly.

5. Your character notices a strange room. It seems to be locked.

6. Your character notices a foul smell coming from the copier room. You notice that the copier has stopped running, but there are pages and pages of images that surround it. Each one depicts someone being brutally stabbed. It is difficult to look at.

7. Your character notices some booze! Unfortunately it is empty

8. Your character manages to find some loose change. Not very handy.

9. Your character comes across a disgusting sight - a half-eaten body. The smell is repulsive and causes you to involuntarily gag. The half-eaten face's eyeballs are still looking at you, darting back and forth, moving.

10. You come across several rats all clustered together. You don't want to know why.

[ Step 2 ] After your character is done scavenging, simply report your findings to one of the bandits. Your work here is done.

[ 3, 4, 6, 3]

It seemed a little odd that any of them from the areas of capture - apparently four in total - were being asked to go raid a Staples of all places. It would have been handy when she was asked to write that little journal entry but that was a little late now. But what exactly was in a Staples that could be handy here? Did these Harbringer people want them to steal computers and toner to sell on the black market or eBay - and most likely laugh at what they could get them to do?

Lease snorted and kicked an empty can that had been laying about. This seemed totally lame. But maybe it would be an easy thing to do - just like their slogan thing they pumped out everywhere. It could be an quick in and out trip and then she could get on with trying not to be bothered by anyone.

The door, she noticed, seemed to be freely open so she just sauntered right in and glanced about at what was possibly left inside the store. Surprisingly not a lot and everything was a mess like many parts of the mall. She had to toe around a few objects and almost hop over others while she looked around, kind of, for anything useful. So far, nothing and quiet. Until she got to the blinder section and noticed a cat casually cleaning itself on top of a remaining pile. She didn't say a word but it suddenly looked up as if sensing her and gave her a dry look of 'don't you dare bother me' which she probably would have done (despite actually liking cats). The two of them remained still looking at one another until the feline finally decided to move. It walked almost wearily away, as if threatened by her or at least worried she would spring out and touch it. There might have been a growl somewhere in there but Lease didn't stay there to find out. She just turned and walked towards the office furniture.

There though, she spotted one of those things she had seen out on the streets. The thing she had attacked and "destroyed" with a knife. Not wanting to have to get traumatized again, she slowly backed up - as best as she could, her boots were loud and she jingled a little - to avoid it. Thankfully it didn't notice her as well as the cat had. Lease ducked behind another aisle filled with paper products and proceeded to make her way through the rest of the store, now not even really paying attention to what remained stocked and if there was anything useful. She just wanted to get through it and out now.

Another corner was turned and Lease noticed a foul smell coming from one of the little adjacent rooms in the building. Surely investigating wouldn't have been the best idea here, but maybe her teenage curiosity was getting the best of her when she decided to approach it and enter. Inside it looked like a disaster had struck and smelled like one too. Even her homemade mask that she hastely stuck on her face didn't help. It would have been another time to retreat, but she walked over towards the copier that had long since run out of juice and picked up one of the pages it had spit out. It.. didn't look like much until she looked at another.. and then another.. and then suddenly realized she was looking at the slow murder of someone.

Where.. was the body? (And at least it explained the smell). Yes, this seemed like a good queue to leave the area - maybe even the store. It didn't seem anything of use was going to be left anyways, if there was anything at all. It was a Staples after all! The only thing she was coming away with was a smell that wouldn't leave her mouth for a while, a few pieces of paper and.. just well, not much else.

Lease made her way through several aisles, her sights set only on the doors ahead where the entrance should have been. One wrong turn, though, almost caught her face to face with another one of those people. She halted just in time, a little skid of her shoes on the ground but not enough to alter it. She spun around into the next aisle over and just kept on going.

Then she was out.

There was still that small problem in giving reports in the verbal sense. Her jaw was still not up to par. Some might have considered it a good thing - her parents - but in this case she was sure these bandits would have wanted to hear something of her exploration.

Lease handed them the papers, at least something, "noshing... Shtamples.. lame... bad schmell though in one.. room." And left it at that.
