Name: Charlotte Lucille Durand
Nickname: She prefers to go by Charlie, since Charlotte sounds too sophisticated for her personality. Her father and little sister Claudia call her Cici.
Age: 18
Birthday: May 29th
Sign: Gemini
Gemstone: Emerald
Blood Type: B-
Fav. Food: Dark chocolate, sushi, pumpkin.
Hated Food: Anything too sweet, like candy and white chocolate.
School: DCU working towards a degree in jewelry and metalsmithing.
Hobbies:
Metalsmithing - Preferring casting over fabrication, Charlie enjoys being able to create objects and turn them into metal pieces of art. She often wears the charms she creates! Her goal is to get her Bachelor of Fine Arts in jewelry and metalsmithing, and open up a store of her own to sell her pieces. She is often found in the art building on campus, working on her various projects.
Fiber Arts - From crocheting to sewing to weaving, Charlie takes her art projects to the next level by going all out with her installation pieces. She loves the challenge of using scrap or unusual material to create clothing or statements. She also uses her learned skills in her jewelry making, incorporating silk and other fine yarn. While she does not do it often, she sometimes helps to sew costume pieces together for the theatre department, and has created some of her own clothing.
Tennis - She’s played since she was a kid, although it is more for fun than anything more serious. It is a good way for her to get her thoughts in order and to focus on one thing rather than on a million different projects she should be working on. Getting into the zone of playing, whether it be singles or doubles, helps her to expend all of her pent up energy that she has absorbed throughout the day.
Virtues:
Adaptable - It is very important for Charlie to have freedom and independence to make her own decisions. She refuses to be pinned down by anyone or any rules. She enjoys being able to experience change and growth on her own terms and is able to react instantly to situations and people. The downside to this is that she seems constantly wound up; both nervous and excitable, unable to contain the energy she absorbs from her surroundings and other people.
Imaginative - Something of a dreamer, being an artist seems perfect for Charlie’s future occupation. She is constantly coming up with new ideas and different ways to express herself. She likes to hear people’s stories and to explore and try new things in order to create her own. She is always on the lookout for a new adventure, or a new idea for a piece of jewelry. While she doesn’t do it often enough to consider it a hobby, she does keep a small sketchbook with her to jot down notes or ideas that come to her during the day.
Energetic - Full of energy and life, Charlie is enthusiastic and optimistic; a social butterfly and loves meeting new people and going to new places. Her curiosity and energy tends to make her attempt at multi-tasking appear a little scatterbrained, since she often goes from one project to another half-way through, but somehow she always seems to get everything done.
Flaws:
Impulsive - Charlie tends to jump feet first into things without taking the time to observe her surroundings. Her energy makes her prepared for just about everything, but her impulsiveness can get her caught up in situations from which she has trouble finding an escape. Sometimes she says things she doesn’t necessarily mean, or ends up saying something without knowing the full story or facts. She means well, but often has to backtrack in order to clean up her own messes, and that doesn’t always bode well for relationships.
Restless - Unable to stay in one place for too long, Charlie often finds herself fidgeting to get out and do something. Without enough things to stimulate her, she gets bored and restless and ready to look for new things that will keep her interest. She wouldn’t consider herself impatient, since she would wait for someone for as long as it took them to meet up with her, but she wouldn’t necessarily wait in the same place the entire time. Often times, people get upset that she moves around too much in an attempt to stay engaged in something that interests her.
Superficial - Even though she knows it’s bad to “judge a book by its cover”, Charlie can’t always help judging people by how they treat herself and others, rather than looking deep into a persona’s real qualities. Charlie presents herself the same way she sees others, knowing that many react the same way. Why else would you try to look your best for interviews, or make a good first impression? She often hides her feelings of discouragement and loneliness behind her energy and outward positive energy, never allowing anyone but her closest friends and family to see. She wants others to believe she is always happy and unstressed and living a perfect life.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Mint green.
Hair: Long, straight, and silvery blonde. She has a streak of color that she dyes orange and pink. Often kept out of the way in a ponytail.
Face: Heart-shaped and fair-skinned. She is often smiling.
Clothes: Comfortable jeans and shirts for everyday activities. She enjoys dressing up, but has little to no reason to do so.

Knight Title: Constantinople of Chronos Challenge: Not Istanbul! Uniform: Power Theme: Growth, change, protection Appearance: Turkish/Eastern European; monastic. http://cdn.rainbowresource.netdna-cdn.com/products/013469i1.jpgSomething like this (on the right) only shorter, just to her knees. Mostly pinks and orange with white and cream. WeaponPage: Golden dogwood flower pendant. Squire: A small dogwood sapling. Only about a foot tall and in a small, ornate pot with a large bow around it. Channeling her magic causes a rush of floral growth from under her target’s feet. Roots and grass and saplings grow up and around where the magic is channeled, which she can use to either push her targets back, or to focus on building up a barrier. The plants can be cut down and are capable of burning with some effort. She can also use already existing flora to grow rapidly, such as low hanging branches sprouting an abundance of leaves. Total magic pool lasts for 40 seconds. Knight: A four foot tall flowering dogwood tree in an ornate pot with a large bow around it. It only weighs about twenty pounds, so it is possible to carry, but not very practical. With more strength than her previous attack, Constantinople can channel her magic to build up a barrier between herself and her opponents. She can focus her magic to build up a plant based sphere either around herself and a couple others, or she can use her magic to exclude herself from being inside the sphere in order to protect a couple more. Like her first attack, the plants can be cut and burned, but in the sphere of protection, it is much more difficult. Magic pool lasts 60 seconds. Summon http://www.livius.org/a/turkey/istanbul/mosaics/istanbul_mosaic_museum_main_floor_griffins_1.JPG A griffin with the body and head of a tigress, horns, and wings of an eagle. Based on a mosaic found in the Imperial Palace of Constantinople.
Magic TBD when she gets to knight stage.

HI GUINE. Cici looks good; I'm guessing you're looking at her height/build in terms of working with a template? You might be able to fit it into fashion to describe build/height, but it's fine if that's why you noted it. Just helps form consistancy. My only worry is her summon, since it can't be approved without the magic. EVERYTHING ELSE IS FINE THOUGH NO WORRIES THERE. Just drop a quote when ready for round 2!

Hello Nova! I can absolutely remove the added part about her height and build from the template, although you have to understand that as an artist it's kind of important. Haha. But it has been removed, as it was not part of the original form. As for the summon, do you have any magic suggestions? Like her height, I really just included it as reference for later so I wouldn't lose it, and I figured since I didn't have any additional magic added to the summon that the unspoken "ability" would be that it just mauled people. Or should I remove the summon from the powered section, since it was also not part of the original form?

TOTALLY FINE AS IS ACTUALLY. The summon can't enter play without the proper revisions when at knight phase, but there's not problem dropping a stamp now! A GM should be along soon! As for height, I totally understand wanting to include height/build. So many bodytypes.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I will just remove her summon information for now! I really wanted to see how she developed as a character before coming up with summon magic, so it will be a waste of everyone's time trying to think of something to fill in now. It's struck out for now but I will remove it completely when I get home from work.
