- Scavenge the office building for supplies OOC: You will need to scavenge the local office building (STAPLES) for supplies. Any information you discover within the building can be used for later.
[ Step 1 ] Each player must roll 4d10 in their post. Match your dice to the rolls below. RP it out in ANY order.
1. Your character finds a stapler. It doesn't seem very useful. It is still attached to an arm, that has long begun it's final stages of decay. Attached to the bracelet of the arm is a name. "R O R...." the rest is missing.
2. Your character finds boxes and boxes of receipts. It doesn't look very informative.
3. Your character turns the corner and finds one of the undying! They must remain quiet for a bit to avoid being caught. If your character wishes to fight it instead for some reason, the undying has 50 HP and does -5 auto damage.
4. Your character finds a stray cat. It doesn't seem very friendly.
5. Your character notices a strange room. It seems to be locked.
6. Your character notices a foul smell coming from the copier room. You notice that the copier has stopped running, but there are pages and pages of images that surround it. Each one depicts someone being brutally stabbed. It is difficult to look at.
7. Your character notices some booze! Unfortunately it is empty
8. Your character manages to find some loose change. Not very handy.
9. Your character comes across a disgusting sight - a half-eaten body. The smell is repulsive and causes you to involuntarily gag. The half-eaten face's eyeballs are still looking at you, darting back and forth, moving.
10. You come across several rats all clustered together. You don't want to know why.
[ Step 2 ] After your character is done scavenging, simply report your findings to one of the bandits. Your work here is done.

Matilda tread carefully into the building, making sure to step around anything that could make a noise. The bandits had requested someone investigate the building in hopes of finding some promising information, and she had taken up the challenge. They probably weren't doing it themselves because of the possible threats that could be inside the building. She only hoped the structure held.
Cracking open a door with her left hand, a quick look revealed the room to be empty. Well, empty of anything mobile, at least. Pushing it open further revealed a slew of boxes and paper littering the floor. Opening one box, Matilda pulled out a receipt. And another. And another. The box was chock full of them. Dragging the box away, she opened the next box. More receipts. Groaning, her mood didn't improve once she opened three more boxes, only to find nothing but receipts.
Turning away from the boxes, a small bottle in the corner caught her eye. As she got closer, Matilda was able to identify it as a beer bottle. It could be useful as a peace offering, since Matilda didn't drink. The thought made a small part of her mind aware of how thirsty she was. Her hopes were disappointed when a closer inspection proved the bottle was already opened and empty. Since recycling would do her no good and she doubted anyone would want an empty bottle, she reluctantly tossed it away.
Deciding the leave the room, Matilda turned a corner and was met with a disturbing sight. Rats. So many rats. She tried and failed to stifle a gasp at the swarm of rats crowding the hallway, their red eyes gleaming as they skittered about. What could they possibly-
No... she didn't want to finish that question, because she didn't want to know the answer. If she knew the answer she probably wouldn't be able to keep her stomach. Backing away quietly with her hand over her mouth so as not to attract their attention, lest they think about making her into a meal, Matilda decided to try searching elsewhere.
finding another room, it appeared to be littered with trash rather than papers. Her hope grew. If there was trash, someone might have left something behind that she could salvage! Rummaging through the garbage while trying to ignore the smell, her eyes fell upon another bottle. Before she could get her hopes up, she could see that it was empty without needing to pick it up. Turning to look for anything else, a creaking noise emanating throughout the building heralded that her time was up. She would probably not do well to stay any longer unless she wanted to risk the building coming down on her.
It was saddening that she hadn't been able to find any reliable information, but she would at least be able to warn the bandits about the presence of the rats, in case they decided to use them for hunting fodder. The thought made her stomach churn, so she decided she wouldn't think too deeply about it.
