Rajni was bored, very bored. She hated security. But some guy was coming in and he had his keycard, so she had to let him in. At least he was efficient.

His umbrella was sound too. A big hulking black one. She actually had half a mind to take it- the thing would make a great shield from bloodspatter.
Alas, she couldn't steal umbrellas. For now.

Buuut then he couldn't do the dance. Seriously? It was just a silly little salute, and they'd been here a month. It wasn't something you just forgot.
Rajni sighed and had to turn them away.

The next person didn't have their keycard. Rajni used to be really strict about keycards and umbrellas, but after a month she had grown somewhat relaxed. In fact now she sometimes read on the job.
She made a gesture for them to present their umbrella anyways.

Unfortunately their umbrella was nowhere to be found. A missing keycard was one thing, easily replaced, but an umbrella ...?
"Sorry, can't let you in." Company policy, not her choice.
She did feel bad about it though. Hopefully he'd go find one and come back.
But he probably wouldn't.

The next person was not a person but a group of people. A little group of three women that had gone out scavenging. Safety in numbers and all that.
They produced their keycards quickly and Rajni gave them a nod.

But then none of them could produce their umbrellas. Rajni found that suspicious, up until the girls starting crying and blubbering about losing them in a fight against the undying.
Thankfully her shift was over, and the next person to come in could deal with it.
