He... didn't get help like he wanted to from Laine. Instead he just wandered into the ER by himself and ended up getting taken care of right away. He had a few stitches in a few places, and just let himself into the apartment when he was finally released. Of course there was the element of him trying to be quite, because he had a feeling Laine was here, but maybe asleep? He rubbed at the back of his neck as he went from the living room to the kitchen, grabbing a beer and then stayed there to open it up and took a swig. Kor didn't get pain medication because, it was basically a few cuts and the pain wasn't that bad. At least his piercings didn't get ripped out. "Laine, you here?" Kor finally called out to see if his fiancee was actually here or not.

"I'm heeeere!" Came a voice, and soon enough Laine emerged from the hallway, carrying a laundry basket. "I was just doing some of the laund- Whoa." She said, looking up from the basket to her fiance. "What the hell happened to you?" The young girl set the basket of clothes down on the floor before padding over to the taller man. "Who did you piss off this time...?" Laine murmured quietly, gently cupping his face so she could look at the bandages. The beer bottle went unnoticed by her.
Laine did have to admit that she was a little surprised to see he'd actually taken care of the wounds. "Did... you go to the hospital? Thought you hated going there." Laine vividly remembered the last time the pair had been at the hospital, and how moody Kor had been after they'd gotten home. Granted, that scenario was different from this one but it still applied. "You okay there, Big Guy?"

He took another long swig of his beer as Laine answered and then just waited for it. Waited for the moment she realized he was bandaged. Aaand there it was. Kor wasn't disappointed. He gave a little noise and tugged her in for a soft kiss. Slowly he just thumbed her cheek and shrugged a little more. "Yeah, well... Can't call you every time I piss someone off by kissin' 'em for energy," he murmured. "Got a bottle shattered across my face for it. Told them it was some homeless guy that was drunk and throwin' s**t around." Kor shrugged a little and then pushed a hand through his hair. ".....So it's really not worth it. Gonna just drain the normal, boring way, I guess."

Laine cringed at the mention of a bottle. That was definitely going to leave a few scratches. Though she cringed again when his words caught up with her. "You were draining them by kissing them??" Her voise a little louder then she meant it to be. Oops. "Babe, that's dangerous, even if you're stronger then them." Laine was just thankful the bottle was the least of it. "You'll find a way to drain people that works for you... Just please, don't put yourself in harms way to do it. Try... starting with subtle things? I've done it by just bumping shoulders or holding someone's hand a few times. I don't think I've kissed anyone on the mouth though... Kissed a few people on the cheek but they were both chaos... and I wasn't draining them." Huh. She hadn't really thought about it.

Kor winced and just shifted to sit down on the couch. The immediate response to this was, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm learnin' that now. Everything else just seems super boring." So much for thinking that through. Oh well. "It worked... like.. once. So." Kor figured he could actually get away with it more than once and rubbed at his neck again. "But now I'll figure it out." Was she mad he went around kissing other people? He wasn't sure. Laine didn't get mad when he thought she would, but got mad when he didn't think she would. Honestly the man just gave up predicting her reaction.

"Draining is easier to manage then the alternative... It just takes creativity to get the desired results sometimes." Which Kor had no problem doing. "Once?" She questioned. "On who?"
"Your best bet is to find someone who has had little to no interaction with the Negaverse... At that point they won't realize what's going on. And even if they have, you could still get away with it if you're lucky enough. A pat on the back here, a helping hand there. That sorta thing. I mean, I'm not saying draining them through kissing is wrong... I've just never heard of anyone doing that."
Then again, there were few people as forward as Kor could be.
"I will agree that draining can get kinda boring though..."

Kor just sighed again and rubbed at his ear, tugging on the already stretched lobe. "Maybe I should stretch them," he muttered to himself just to get off this topic. He hated feeling like a puppy getting his nose smacked with a newspaper for something he didn't think was wrong. It was like he said thought. "I'll figure it out some other way." God, rules weren't fun. He knew he joined to protect her, but by God was the Negaverse a very boring organization. Everyone he'd met had been so stiff and bloodthirsty. It's like none of them, besides Richard, knew how to have any kind of fun. Now that was sad.
