The prisons are one of the safest places to live in during the event; but those in charge want to keep it that way. This means making sure anyone who's lucky enough to be staying in a cell should be mentally equipped to handle what's in store for them. The first test any prison faction member has to go through is psychological testing; we're already filled with former criminals, it's too dangerous to ignore. The world outside is life-threatening enough; the last thing we need is insanity killing us from the inside, too.
These tests can be taken once daily while still in civvie stage of membership. This consists of one Rorschach test, and one simple ethics question. You can only do this test 10 times total, and you cannot pick the same Rorschach twice - nor can you pick the same ethics question twice. You're allowed to choose which ones you do, or if you'd rather roll for them, they are numbered from 1-10, simply roll 2d10. Just make sure you pick different ones each time.
You can do both in one post, or use separate posts for each - but you must have a word count of at least 100 words for each part, either way. Your internal dialogue can be as crazy or murderous as is canon for the character, but it would probably be best not to say you see yourself killing someone in the Rorschach test, if you want to move on to the next stage. (AKA, lying is OOCly totally allowed/encouraged).
What if my character sees nothing? -This is a perfectly valid response, and yet will obviously give you issues when getting to 100 words. Thankfully, the psychologist who is administering these tests is very insistent. You are allowed to roleplay having an argument with the psychologist, whose only response to your problem is to try harder. He tells you to twist it. Turn it. Let your eyes unfocus. He will give your character every possible generic advice on how to see something, and they may still not see anything - but at least this will give you enough fodder to use for the roleplay.
Is there a right answer to the ethics questions? -There is never a right answer for ethics questions such as these. You are an individual, and will react in different ways to different things. We will not judge or expel you for being scared. We're all scared. We will not judge or expel you for your answers if they reflect that fear. There are no right answers, but there are wrong answers. Those are the only ones we will be looking for. Answer carefully, and remember that our faction rewards respect and safety.
Rorschach TestsChoose a different one each time.
8.
Ethics QuestionsAnswer a different one each time.
7. Were you loyal to any person / family / group / religion in the past, and if so, will this impede your ability to be loyal to your faction now? If not, do you feel like loyalty and respect come easy to you?
Rewards You may claim 2 bars for the first time you take this test. You may claim 1 bar for any other day you do it afterward. (Limit 1 time per day)

Kaethus couldn't hide from it forever. Somehow he'd slipped through the cracks of the assessment for a good long while, but eventually he couldn't hide from it anymore. Or was it himself that he was hiding from?
...Man he was already hating the idea of the psychobabble.
The chair wasn't comfortable and he was trying to lean back with his leg crossed over the other while his arms were tightly wrapped into each other. He attempted to not be his indignant self but rather forced himself to fall into a false calm. Many words came to mind: Boring. Tedious. Wrong. False. Phony. Piss-off. A snap of the fingers broke him out of it and then that question.
"What do you see?"
Kaethus stifled a groan and shifted in his chair, moving his elbows to his legs and leaning forward while squinting at the blackened marks on the paper. He had little knowledge about these things aside from what movies showed, and he watched very little movies to begin with so his perception was askew. Anther uncomfortable shift in his seat, but his eyes were staring at the picture and he felt a warmth hit him. <********> His mind warped, twisting at the picture. Images of a memory he usually drank away. It was on the tip of his tongue- We are not ******** talking about that to a prison shrink. We are not ******** talking about that at all. Kaethus hesitated.
"A lion." He put simply. The psychologist across from him lifted an eyebrow. "Only a lion?" He said in that way that Kaethus just hated.
"A lioness, it doesn't have a mane." Kaethus shot back, squinting his eyes hard enough to make it the truth. "The eyes are right here, then the nose and fangs." He motioned at it but moved back. "I don't like pictionary." He huffed, crossing his arms again.
"We'll move on then." The psychologist said, turning to place the sheet down, turning back and adjusting his glasses as his eyes bore holes into Kaethus. "Answer this question truthfully." He instructed and continued that blazing stare. "Were you loyal to any person / family / group / religion in the past, and if so, will this impede your ability to be loyal to your faction now? If not, do you feel like loyalty and respect come easy to you?"
Kaethus listened and felt his leg begin to bounce in irritation at the instruction, but it went still as he did silent, gazing back at that stare with a challenging one as he spoke. "Eh?" He said with a c**k of his head. "What kind of a question is that?" At first he huffed and leaned back into the chair deeper for a moment before leaning forward back at him.
"If you know anything about me, read my file or anything else then you already know your damn answer." He began. "I am and have always been part of the duo of the Lazaris brothers. Aaron is my older brother, my family, everything that is solid for me in this world is there with him." Kaethus saw a twitch in the psychologist.
"Biological family doesn't stay the same. People die." He lingered on the word for a moment. "I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I do know that sometimes what family you started with isn't what you end up with. Aaron is what stayed, and we stick to it." He saw the flicker of impatience again. "My brother and I are here now. Maybe could even call it a home, a family. Or maybe it is just a building with people in it."
Kaethus trailed off.
"I will always be loyal to my true family, and right now I'm looking at it. Even weird creepy uncles like you." Kaethus leaned a little closer in. "If that changes, then I have to adapt, don't you think?"
An awkward silence took hold as Kaethus was dismissed and he let out a deep sigh. ********, he hated doing this crap so badly. He felt his mouth had betrayed him but something about that guy did actually make him want to say at least a little something. But what exactly had that something really been?
