"Again. Properly, this time. Were you not listening?"
The premise was very simple, for someone as precise as Deva. Perform all actions perfectly. Erradicate all errors. Leave no room for leniency, and there'd be no space for mistakes to work their way in. Right?
So the way in which his relationship had fallen through his careful fingers had been nothing less than a disaster on all levels. On the surface, how a man who felt he'd suffered a considerable loss differed little. But the core of just where that operating came from had changed, and apparently was taking its growing pains out on an increasingly nervous staff. Not a terror in so many words, but an unspoken worry that any slight might lead to undesirable consequences.
And so on they went, eager to meet every tidying and dusting particular of their beautiful but overbearing superior.

The nervousness was almost palpable, from where Kitami was standing. The woman had just returned from another room, which had been neatly stacked with shelves of books as far as the eye could see. It had been just in time to see the staff being told that apparently, thier work hadn't been spotless enough.
"Hmm.." She felt sort of sorry for them as she passed a few of them by, swiping a counter with a gloved finger to find nothing on it so far.
Flashing a sympathetic smile to whomever she could make eye contact with, she eventually came to the one in charge. "Eh, Deva? Don't you think they could use a break by now?" The fox blinked, coming to stand a few steps away from the elegant supervisor. A few times she looked distractedly over her shoulder or towards another hurried worker, tail flicking curiously. She hoped her interview wouldn't be this rigorous.

Having the will of what could easily be described of the prince of the resort be questioned was enough to divert those who were the focus of his disdain into visible distraction. Of which, of course, he was not pleased! "Did I say you could--"
That irritation didn't last long, however, once he'd seen just who they had reacted to. "It's you. Hmm. Well met." The look that made its way over his shoulder as he adjusted his shawl was probably somewhat pouty at best, though several of the staff members were visibly unsettled by the resulting level of prettiness that entailed. Closing his odd eyes for a moment, he conceded to what had been suggested to him. Somewhat. "Perhaps there's some truth in your words." That reprieve was short-lived, though, as he was back at it before his underlings could so much breathe a sigh of relief. "But we've a reputation of quality, and a loss of that quality means a loss of profit." There was definitely a stern tone to those words, but there seemed to be lacking an earnest feeling behind them. But the words of the father didn't speak in entirety for the son, and again he eased off to show what he understood of empathy. "Dismissed." The sharp look in his eyes had softened for all of a moment anyway, and the staff were quick to scatter back to their various responsibilities. Turning his attention back to the woman, he didn't hesitate in voicing exactly what was on his mind. "So, what would you like to accomplish here?" Sharp and direct as ever.

Oh there was no mistaking it, he didn't seem to be in the best of moods with the way he'd been addressing his staff. Still she didn't hold back the gleeful smile that crossed her face when he'd greeted her, tinged with a bit of bashfulness for his decidedly pouty look. It quickly settled into something happy upon hearing his agreement. Er well, almost agreement since he insisted on the bottom line. Kitami visibly slumped, head cocked and ears flopping with a weary sigh. Really the sight was more comical than serious but she straightened back up when he'd at last allowed everyone to return to thier work, and there was a moment's pause while she turned to face him, arms crossed and mismatched eyes slightly narrowed in a thoughtful look. "He seems kinda uptight, but then again maybe he just takes his job seriously? But still..."
Her thoughts were interrupted when he turned to her and with that she'd been starkly reminded why she was here. "Ah yes!" And just like that, her smile was back, bright and pointed as ever. Kitami didn't bother with trying to hide her excitement, even if she tried to appear as professional as she could. " I'm here to take up your offer on a suite, assuming it's still on the table." And she faltered a little here, lips pursing as her brows furrowed, eyes glancing elsewhere. Maybe it had already expired -and a place like this? It had sounded too good to be true, afterall. No, no. She had been assured the deal was in fact real to her recollection, and she was going to trust her friend on that. Or at least she considered him one at any rate. He seemed nice enough when they'd met.
A quick shake of her head to get her thoughts back in order, and to throw off her doubts. "But I said it before and i'll say it again -i'm prepared to earn my keep here!" She declared, smirk slowly rising to the surface at the prospect of something potentially interesting to do, or even a possible challenge as she pointed at Deva in something of a dramatic display.
"I'm still an odd job jack, so i'll take any task you can throw at me, big or small!" And by the way her hand sat on her hip, tail flaring in a show of confidence she meant it. Bring it on, oh prince of the resort!

If the flutter of his mismatched wings wasn't to be taken as a sign of Deva's amusement, the vocalization that followed surely was. "Heh." It seemed to interest him enough, anyway, to have someone around that wasn't simply under his thumb as the rest were. And yet... no, thinking of the two of them didn't help his mood at all, as that pretty mouth of his twisted back into a frown in that instant. It was both a mystery and relief to the workers that had duties in that area. His mood was lacking certainty, and yet he was quiet. Obviously with lingering emotional distress, and yet not barking orders at them.
"Oh. Yes." Perhaps it wasn't the warmest sort of affirmation she could've gotten, but it probably did well enough. It was patently clear that Deva's reputation with women had little to do with charming them with words, for certain. Fingertips pushing away the black hair that had fallen in his face, he casually strolled behind the front desk. In no time at all he had plucked a key card, returned, and presented her with it. "Here I'd thought you'd be asking for something difficult." Still not acting the nicest, and yet still not being insulting or petulant either. He really was being friendly, in his own barely adequate way.
And though her exuberance was definitely noticed and noted, it didn't seem to unsettle the stoic and haughty one much at all. "I see." Without the least bit of stealth the look up and down her person was enough to elicit a quiet reaction from the not so secretly observing staff, but in its crassness it seemed to have a purpose as he took the hand he'd placed the key in for a moment. "It'd be a waste of your bright personality to have you cleaning, I think, as well as a shame to roughen your unsullied hands." He was really being both too forward and lacking in consideration but his attention to details remained firm as he continued. "We can discuss this more in depth in my office, if you prefer to not have an audience." Heads ducked down and conspicuously busy, the many ears tuning into his words picked up a mention of themselves and quickly went avoiding his wrath.

The flutter of wings was something she wasn't quite sure how to read, but combined with that obvious almost laugh she got the picture and relaxed considerably, her hand flopping even. She didn't fully retract her arm yet though, as another curious frown appeared when he'd given a pretty limp answer before heading to his desk and pulling out a keycard -wait. was that-!? Kitami's eyes widened, currently stuck between a cheeky retort about upping the ante and holding back what would have been a very appreciative squeal of delight!
As it stood she half-consiously held the card close while a soft smile gradually emerged. It didn't last long when she'd noticed him blatantly looking her over and her happiness melted into a slightly perplexed look for it. Maybe even a little nevous? What was was it? Something on her face? Spaghetti stain? Monster blood?
But then even that abruptly upgraded into a startled look, complete with a "Weh!?" That sounded more baffled than anything. There went her bravado, for the moment. But she had to admit to herself, she could see why he'd be so popular, even if he wasn't the best with words and it didn't seem as if he'd done it for any underhanded purposes. Maybe that was why he'd caught her off guard easily as he had.
Kitami was still processing Deva's seemingly casual observation when he'd not-so-subtly noted they had prying eyes and ears on them, and that was enough to shake her back on track with a vigorous nod of agreement. "Y-yeah! That-um-" A small cough, did her cheeks feel hotter or was it just her? She hoped it was her as she'd almost forgotten the imp still had her hand. The kitsune slowly withdrew it in her move toward the door, pocketing the keycard. "-That does sound like a better idea, heh."
On her way out she held it open for him while she looked out into the hallway out of curiousity. That and she had no idea where said man's office was. Actually, she barely knew where anything was. This hotel (resort?) was huge!

Ever unfazed by the effect his forward nature and prettiness had on others, with a tilt of his head and his mismatched eyes meeting hers for a moment Deva indicated that he'd lead the way. "If you'll follow me, then." Of course, Deva doing practically anything that wasn't petulant was occasion for his fans turned employees to react, to which he raised a dismissive hand without so much as looking at them. "Don't mind them. They wouldn't know vicuna from chinchilla." Whatever that happened to mean. Just how far one man's preoccupation with fabric could go, anyway? He bemoaned what he took as their lack of appreciation regardless as he made his way behind the desk and through several hallways, discontent that his care wasn't received as he might have liked. "And I take the time to dress them so, being the one that's responsible for picking out their uniforms. Such a waste." And though his words lacked sympathy, they also lacked the biting tone of true criticism. Though his standards were certainly too high, it seemed he was geniunely just disappointed rather than disgusted with them.
And the office of such a seemingly meticulous man was likely as most would expect it. Between all of the marble, linen, and leather there was definitely a stereotypical overtone of wealth that couldn't be ignored. It wasn't applied without his own personal style applied, however, as the theme of deep browns and muted golds that were punctuated with touches of bright white seemed to match up with his person very well. Not just any slouchy leather sofa would do for the younger Mr. de Sada, after all, and every last piece of furniture in the room looked to be antique chesterfield pieces. He indicated to one of the sofas, eyes drawn to something upon his desk. "Please make yourself comfortable." But it wasn't papers he sought, but instead amongst the piles of neatly-stacked papers was a basket of spongey shell-shaped cookies he was quick to grasp as he took a seat at his desk. "When it comes to positions outside of the cleaning staff, there's several possibilities at hand." His voice was cool and professional as expected, but his slim fingers tensed at his precious basket of pastries with curious anticipation. Part of him was reluctant to appear inelegant in front of such a lady when she'd just arrived, but... "The positions of both pool attendant and thermae attendant would require having to deal with towels and guests in various states of undress." Ultimately he couldn't help but help himself, but he wasn't so uncouth as to eat and speak at the same time. So many neat bites and concise words! "The front desk always seems to have open positions, if you're open to dealing with those gossips. There's also a variety of positions available in the restaurant, though maybe you'd prefer hostess over waitress. And we tend to have trouble retaining psychomanteum attendants, providing you're not faint of heart." Once there were no further descriptions to distract her from his impulsiveness, what he did next was very impulsive for a person of his nature. "...Would you like one?" Though there was certainly a lack of shyness in the way he'd slid the basket forth upon the glass top of his desk, that he'd be willing to share anything so precious as his beloved madeleines showed that yes, he was indeed attempting to be friendly!

A tiny nod to indicate when he'd gestured and she was walking alongside Deva, often taking time to get a better look at her surroundings. Despite that her right ear remained swiveled in his direction the entire time. "Vicuna?" She blinked, only turning to look at him then but it was for a few seconds. But soon her full attention was back on him as he complained about all the effort he'd put into the quality of the staff uniforms and while the demon didn't have much to say to the matter, she did feel a little mixture of sympathy and amusement. Mostly the second emotion though. She did silently note that he didn't seem as peturbed as he'd been eariler and considered it an improvement.
That and it probably wasn't easy coming up with something both comfy and eye-catching. Or at least they looked like they would have been comfy. As long as it wouldn't hurt her mobility she'd try it on to be sure, and even had a few moments to ponder, grinning, how she could get herself into one of those. "They do look like they'd be fun to wear..".
Soon enough they arrived at his office, and Kitami suddenly had a better understanding of what vicuna might have been, or at least how far it was from a chinchilla. This... this place was just too posh to be a mere workspace! She veered straight for the nearest couch, a comfy one-seater that allowed her to half-sit half-lay across the seat, cradled in it's arms while her tail draped itself over her legs to compensate for not being as nicely curled up since she still had her shoes on. Didn't want to dirty the furniture after all, though had it been a living space she would have been in her socks instead.
Silver and blue eyes wandered all over, taking in the relaxing colours while she breathed in the mingling scents, and letting out a light sigh. There was leather and something that made her mouth water, a hint of- lemon? Huh! That had her back to watching her friend the same time he'd taken a soft-looking shell-shaped pastry from a basket she hadn't noticed before, being too busy taking in her surroundings.
Kitami couldn't hold back her giggle at seeing him hesitate a second between explainations, before finally having one, but she was all ears -perked and tilted forward while he continued with the various positions open for employment. For the most part she watched and listened intently, head in her now crossed arms on the one-seater's arm while her tail swished lazily behind her. She snickered at the mention of gossips -all the more reason to avoid that job anyway, simple paperwork would bore her to death most likely- but the thought of working in the restaurant made her mouth water and her eyes fell half-lidded for a second with a delighted rumble. "Mmmm." Food Being a hostess sounded fun, and that was instantly on her short list of nominations and she nodded in agreement -he'd read her well, there. The last nomination had also been the last position on the list, and while the woman had no idea what a psychomanteum was she felt her curiousity pique there. Or maybe it was also because of that. Of course the offer of food had her stomach answering for her with a grumble, and she could only give a bashful chuckle in return "E-heh, i'd love one.". But her shift from there was a surprising burst of enthusiasm that had the fox slide forward from the chair into a roll, only to spring up right at his desk, swooping up his basket up in her arms -all in one fluid motion!
"Thank you!" Kitami chimed, plucking one of the spongy little cakes and gently setting the basket back down while she chewed. Another appreciative hum once she was done and she set to leaning, palms on the edge of the glass with a final lick of her lips. Oh but those were good. "These would go really great with tea." she'd have to ask what they were. But first? "Hostess sounds like fun, but-" Before she made her decision, she needed to know more and that part of her that forever sought a challenge had been stirred by those words. "Not for the faint of heart" Her features gradually grew a little less gleeful and a little more focused, here, the beat of her tail slowing and smile disappearing into a more calm state. "I'm also really curious about your last option. The Psychomanteum? What is that exactly?" Inquiring minds would like to know.

How easily the imp's passion for fabric was invoked! He began rattling off as they both consumed the madeleines, eager to express his thoughts over expensive wool to someone that seemed interested in listening. "There's nothing quite like vicuna, really," he explained, after consuming one pastry and before consuming another. "Though a favorite of Father's, so I'm afraid it's rather framed and dated for me." Though obviously brought up with wealth and considerable knowledge of just what luxury was, Deva considered himself above being blinded by price tags. "Bold colors are more striking, anyhow, and dying vicuna would be a waste." From Deva's preferred wardrobe of black, white, and gold it was fairly obvious that brown wool wasn't so much to his taste. "The color is very much part of the statement piece, so a carefully dyed Guanashina would do just as well for something that isn't that distinctive brown." For him it wasn't enough to know who made the clothes. He had to understand the fabrics themselves as well.
So it was a subject where he was quite prone to go off many tangents, and it seemed that he had done just that yet again. The return of the awkward silence from before wasn't handled any more elegantly, either. "Yes." It was something, though it had little relation to anything that had been said at all. So the subject of tea was quite welcome and quickly advanced upon. "Darjeeling. First flush. Will that be adequate?" Straight to the point as usual, with a faint air of cordiality. That feeling of inadequacy still lingered, though, and with an awkward sideways glance he felt obligated to explain himself. "It's because these were especially made and sent to me, rather than meant as taking tea, so..." It was a quick look past his proper veneer, though, and he was back to being his usual elegant self soon enough. "Yes. I'll send for that straight away."
"That? A room meant for communicating with the dead." So brash, so blunt! But not free of a further explanation, however helpful it happened to be. "But generally not so troublesome. Generally." There'd be no benefit in lying to her. But from his perplexed expression his lack of solid knowledge was showing. There'd been rumors of memorable happenings occurring due to that room, but nothing within his own comparatively short lifetime.

And the irony of it all had been a little hard to miss for Kitami, in that despite gaining a mouthful of a lesson on expensive mystery fabrics to go along with her mouthfuls of madelines, she still hadn't actually been able to find out just what a vicuna was, let along what it felt like! And now she was curious about what a guanashina could possibly be! Ay, she really needed to just ask him outright. Although that wasn't to say she wasn't genuinely interested, having lit up with a friendly smile at seeing just how enthusiastic Deva had been about his fashion and fabrics. It had to be favorite subject or hobby of his!
Apparently from the way he'd popped a suggestion on the spot she assumed he knew his way around his teas as well, which was something she could say she had relatable ground on, though probably limited she figured in comparison. She had yet to try it but had been clearly interested by the way her smile had split into a wide grin again, but it had settled into a curious hum upon picking up that lapse in composure. Oh?
Then again, between the sweet pastries and the occasional burst of conversational speech she'd realized he'd maybe had a moment of floundering, now that she thought on it.
As if to prove that the answer he'd given on the Psychomanteum was, well, a pretty stark contrast to his lecture and despite being her employer it would seem even he wasn't equipped with all the answers. But that was fine she thought, if anything it only stoked her curiousity that much more, yes. She had made up her mind! She also wondered, if her friend were to agree, if she could handle two jobs.
"Generally hmm?" Kitami parroted, a playful smirk curving her lips around another little spongy cake while she eyed him. "That means some really interesting ghost stories must have happened there, huh?" And she took another bite, tail back to swishing in yet another implied 'do tell'.

The requested tea arrived in short order, presented upon an elegant tray with all of the usual tea additives. The bright expression upon the face of the girl that had brought it was quick to droop away, dismayed that she hadn't in fact been given the rare chance for a moment of time alone with the brilliant young master. And while this effort wasn't without merit, resulting in the distracted "Thank you" from that pretty face, it probably wasn't enough to soothe away the assumed beginning of someone else's love story gone wrong. With a light sigh she still poured the aforementioned tea for both of them anyway, and with a curtsy she was gone.
"Please," was his polite follow up, as with an open hand he implied that of course one of the tea cups was meant for his guest. But either Deva was immune to mischief or heavily distracted, as even when sipping at his tea his eyes seemed to be focused upon nothing within his luxurious office. He wouldn't go without answering her question, however, and casually went into explaining just what he knew about that room. "Some possessions, some occurrences of unleashing unholy terrors. The usual sort of things that come with spirits." Maybe it was only natural for an imp to be unimpressed with any events of rampaging ghouls. "Nothing malicious has managed to escape that area of the resort, though. Just the odd thing here or there that for whatever reason wants to hide in the restaurant and attempt to steal food." Dead or alive, who wouldn't want free resort food? The next bit was one that he was reluctant to admit, but. "We have someone we can call if any situation gets out of hand, but..." It hurt to talk about. He was sure that he and the person that lingered heavily within his thoughts could still get along, but. So far the bitterness involved hadn't faded much. "I'd rather not have to resort to such a thing." But he seemed disinterested in talking about it, instead both incredulous and almost adorably petulant that his friend would consider working in such a place. "Really? Does a place like that seem fun?" He wasn't so much questioning her judgment as being genuinely curious, in a roundabout sort of way.

Ah, and now they had tea to go with thier snack! though Kitami's first reaction had been a bright smile, about to follow with a usual thank you she paused seeing the girl's face fall. Given her eariler observations between Deva and his staff's everwatching glances it didn't take much to figure out what that sigh of disappointment meant, along with the look. Which in turn led to the fox fixing the imp with a slightly incredulous face at his distracted-sounding thanks, despite being oblivious to her own presense playing a part. She was beginning to wonder just how many hearts he'd broken this way!
"Why thank you." And she took to dipping a bit of her pastry in, delighted at the results. She wouldn't need any sugar or honey for now but the did eye the cream on occasion, when she wasn't taking note of the way he seemed to stare off into nowhere. She had half a mind to wave a hand in front of his face but before she could decide on that he'd supplied her question with answers. Ones that clearly amused her into laughing a little, all the same even if she was familiar with those sorts of mishaps, it had simply been a while.
Her smile fell into a half-serious pout in her slight disappointment hearing that nothing too terrible had made it's way out of the area, likely that ever mischevious part of her... Though she mentally chided herself that a safe place was far better than a hectic one, and she had to take this seriously. Still, a certain detail had set her chuckling again. "Guess the food here really is that good!"
Of course, that didn't last long when she'd picked up on her friend's hesitation upon mentioning having backup staff in case of any emergencies and there it was again, something about him that reminded her of when she'd first arrived eariler. She couldn't quite put it into words yet but she was sure whatever it was, it had to be the same thing that had been distracting the imp then, too.
"Oh! um well-" She fumbled, rubbing her ear. Whoops... in her contemplation it had taken a second for Kitami to register what he'd asked and well, if it weren't for his genuine surprise and the adorable if not gloomy look he sported right now? She probably would have tried to dodge it entirely. That and she felt like she could place enough trust in Deva to tell him the truth. Or at least enough of it.
"It seems exciting..." To someone like her at any rate. And now that she knew it had to do with spirits? "And to be honest, i'd expected to hear about something involving little more mayhem." A rueful chuckle, and she took another sip. Old habits stirred up by her old job.
"But since that isn't the case? I figured it could be another chance to volunteer some of my time with the dead instead." She tried to play it off with a shrug, but Kitami had set the cup down and proceeded to rest her chin in her palm, looking off to the side past her colleague. The floor, the distance, anywhere but him while her other hand still held the unfinished madeline away from herself.
"I like to think of it as 'personal' community service." Her words had grown a little softer as she looked back towards her half-empty teacup, but she tried to move away from the uncomfortable silence that followed with a cough as if to clear her throat, seemingly picking back up as she spoke. "Besides -you can't tell me you've never been curious about what kind of people you could meet on the other side~" Even her heartbreaker of a friend would have some trouble convincing her of this, oh yes! she thought as she wagged the little foodstuff at him.

The oblivious imp was removed from his inattentiveness for a moment, meeting her incredulous face with a curious one, complete with an ever so slightly scrunched up nose. "Is something the matter?" He'd been being perfectly polite, hadn't he? He hadn't unintentionally committed some sort of faux pas, had he? He kept eating, anyway, still applying some unnecessary shyness to his enthusiasm for his treasured treats as he continued acquiring more for himself.
Her gleeful observation was met with a serious though rather hilarious pondering of his own. "That probably isn't too far from the truth. Every now and there's someone that ends up fainting. Or maybe the more accurate term would in fact be 'swooning.'" He'd probably notice if the swooning was in fact over him, right? So he probably wasn't exaggerating, as silly as the result ended up.
It was probably a little too adorable the way that Deva's presence suddenly took on a flustered quality, complete with a fluttering of both of his wings and an almost rabbit-like frown. And with that small and cute frowny face in place his eyes shifted from side to side as he scrambled to both explain and settle himself. "When it comes to that, I--" She wasn't doing it on purpose, was she? That peppy enthusiasm over the dead reminded him of exactly who he didn't want it to. But once he'd gathered his thoughts, that usual serene expression of his was quick to return. "Keeping the company of a girl that involuntarily functions as a spiritual magnet tends to tire one of that world quite quickly." Coolly stated, though without the intention of being dismissive of either the statement that had been pressed upon him or the relationship that had ended. Better to show ambivalence instead, even if some sulkiness had come along with it. But even with his obvious sulking there was an attempt to stay open-minded, or at least his best effort to do so. "But that time is over, so perhaps without that sense of persistence the whole of it might not be as trying as before." Several months free from the moaning and wailing of spirits on every date had done him a world of good.
That pointless hesitance over eating returned as he seemed to be thinking something over. "It's probably too early for dinner. But, a walk through the gardens would be nice around this time of the day, unless you'd wanted to get settled in." Regardless of the time he'd probably eaten too much to be considered ready to eat again so soon. And how uncouth that would be, too, to go from one round of eating right to another! It'd never do.

In contrast to his shyness, Kitami had remained fairly enthusiastic nibbling away at her tea-dipped madelines. His straightforward observation brought out a curious hum. Swooning huh? "Like the kind that server almost did for you eariler, ohoho!" She had inwardly mused, but she had outright had a snickering fit when her Deva had reacted so to her prodding! Oh but that was precious, fluttering wings and all, and a troublemaking grin had split her face at the imp's moment of flusterdom.
"Hmmm? Yeees? You whaaat?" She teased, even going so far as to lean in a little. Maybe she was having a bit much fun at his expense but having seen him so stoic most of the time they've spent thus far, she couldn't help wanting to poke a bit. That and, noticing the times his mood had dipped, Kitami had grown a little more concerned. Aw, it didn't last long however and sure enough her calm-faced friend had recovered, giving her an answer as mysterious as he was... Not that she didn't get the drift or note a hint of what she was sure was sulkiness in his voice. That of course got a raised silvery blue brow and a twitch of the ears, the expression there-and-gone as she listened, pulling back to give him his space again.
Now, it was hard not to get excited all over again at his offer to get out and stretch thier legs a bit, even though the thought of settling in was also very tempting! But she decided to save that as a surprise to wrap up thier wonderful time hanging out so far. Besides! A chance to check out more of her new home? "Sure!" Don't see why not~ She got up, palms on the glass with a brilliant grin full of equal parts fangs and glee. Although she had to put it out there. "But personally? I don't think ever too early for dinner." She chuckled pushing away her chair as she straightened herself out, tail bushing out then easing in the process while she carefully thought on his words. The description instantly brought someone to mind -a young woman she had met some time back who could communicate with ghosts, along with him and a second woman who possesed a golem cat, if she recalled right? Which made her think...
After making sure to bundle a handful more madelines -and finish what little left of her tea- Kitami moved to let herself out of the office with a bounce in her step, where she then held the door open for Deva. But inward she pondered again, hmm... She was curious as to how her other two friends had been but she was increasingly sure that something had happened between the three. Or at least between Deva and Maggie, was it? No wait -Miyabi! that was her name! if his cryptic description was whom she believed it to be. How best to broach the subject of it was, she wondered?
