Results: 8-9 points = Nice clean load of laundry! Fresher than pine. You earn 2 bars for this perfect load! 5-7 points = You did a decent job of it. You earn 1 bar for the task. 3-4 points = Using that much of the chemicals has caused the laundry machine to overflow with soap and bubbles. The good news is the stuff is now cleaned. The bad news is now you have to mop up the place. You do receive 1 bar for your efforts.

Noah was on laundry duty today. This was just going to be an awesome day, maybe. Was she being sarcastic? Definitely. Doing laundry was not her ideal task of the day but they all had to pitch in to try and keep the prison running smoothly. Or just to keep the smells at bay. Noah sniffed at her shirt and scrunched her nose in distaste. Whoever washed her shirt last time needed to be thrown over the fence. How hard was it to do laundry?
She of course got her answer when she went into the laundry room. Chaos. That was the only descriptive word that could be used for the room. Was that powder, on the ceiling? Noah made a face of disbelief as she made her way further into the room. "Did a bomb go off in here?" Maybe someone had been attacked while sitting around. Yes, that was a good excuse. Why was she willing to give someone a pass on this? Apparently disbelief was frying her brain cells. Hopefully her attempts at doing the laundry wouldn't end in an explosion of white dust all over the place. It took her a few moments, but Noah eventually noticed a pair of pants hanging over a pipe. Why? This room had no logic.
Laundry was, to Raffin, not the most exciting day there ever was. He was not averse to doing laundry, per se, but the idea of having to do it repeatedly was unbelievably tedious, even though Raffin's entire professional career and life tended to be a series of monotonous, repetitious gestures. Experiments were exactly that, after all - but there was something about doing laundry that just made it all the more difficult and annoying to have to do.
And he didn't even have his checklist to make a mark off of when he was done. Sad.
At the very least, he had some company. Raffin gave Noah a smile, padding after her as they stepped into the room, his own expression a mixture of exasperation and a touch of ruefulness. To be fair, the laundry room was ridiculously cluttered and chaotic, two things that Raffin found most unappealing.
He wrinkled his own nose.
"Apparently so, I wouldn't be surprised," he said, reaching for a hamper and dragging it closer. "I wish it wasn't quite such a complete mess in here, I'm not even sure where to start..."
It became abundantly clear approximately five seconds later that Raffin was terribly, woefully inexperienced with doing laundry.
