Your bag carries 4 items!
For such a small girl, it looked strange to have dug up a bag as large as the shopping bag she'd snatched. She dragged it all the way out to start searching for goods, but as soon as she realized what a racket the swishing sound of the bag against pavement made, she picked it up and hefted it over her shoulders.
Better safe than sorry.

You find a can of Beefaroni. ZELDA APPROVES
You find an unopened bottle of water. ZELDA APPROVES
An abandoned grocery cart stored a tiny, but precious cargo. It had probably been dropped during an emergency store run gone awry, and now it was left for her to scavenge and pick up. She pocketed the beefaroni, and a bottle of water. Zelda would be proud.

You find some new, drab clothing, perfect for camouflaging against the horde. ZELDA APPROVES
You find a dented tin of sardines submerged in a shallow puddle. Mmm.
Was this.. a waterproof poncho at the bottom of a puddle? This would look great on h- ... someone else who might need it! She searched through the pockets, and found a can of sardines inside. That.. was a strange combination.
Still, in to the bag they went.

If only she could have more luck finding umbrellas out in this mess... while a poncho would still be helpful for actual rainy days, she knew umbrellas were somewhat more important. She found one inside of an abandoned car, and another hiding in a canister by a house that looked shady enough to end her search early.

Day 2
Your bag carries 3 items!
The last time she'd come, she thought to bring the biggest bag she could find. When she returned with it, she'd realized how ridiculous such a big bag had been. So Sunday took a slightly smaller bag with her this time. What was she going to return with, a microwave?

You find a half used package of batteries. ZELDA APPROVES
You find a very small bottle of water, probably one of those ones they give people on planes. Today seemed like it was a great day to find water. Even if one of the bottles she'd found looked like it was made for a little kid to take to school with them. What a waste of plastic - use the fountain, kid! She kept the batteries safely stored away from the water - in case one of them broke open. You never knew what could happen when you were running for your life back to your apartment.

While last time she'd been out looking for the almighty umbrella had her coming back short, she had a good feeling about this time. This was, perhaps, because she'd just walked into an abandoned store with a small canteen in the front of the store for people to put their umbrellas in when they came inside. Sure enough, there they were. Sweet, sweet black umbrellas. She picked them up carefully, checked them for any broken wire or faulty workings, and then stuffed them in her bag one by one. If only umbrellas were like plants.. then she could come back to this spot and pick some more out of the canteen! Alas, no one would be planting their umbrellas in this canteen, ever again.
