Pros!
Leader ~ He views himself as being a leader and having the authority to lead. He is loyal to those he trusts, and he focuses on how to get a task done quickly and effectively before he will do it. In his leader mindset he is a bit of a perfectionist which is a good and a bad thing in itself. He will take more time to make sure the mark or the job he is doing is being done perfectly before he executes it, and he will also make sure that something is getting done right the first time so that it doesn't have to be done again.

Determined ~ He is a determined soul. He will do whatever it takes to accomplish the task, even if it means trying to same thing over and over again in order for him to figure out what is going wrong so that he can fix it. He will stop at nothing to get something he has set his mind on. He views himself as one day being the best and being the top of the Mafia. He is determined to make that reality.

Protective/Chivalrous ~ These go hand in hand. He views himself as almost being a Knight, but a shadow knight. He wants to help those he cares about, even if they are very few and far between. He has a very strict moral code and tries not to break it when he can. If someone wrongs him, he feels it is in his right to exact the same treatment onto that person. He will also do whatever it takes to make his goals come true.

Cons!
Over Confident ~ He is often over confident in what he does. He views that he is perfect and can not make a mistake. If a mistake happens, or something that he feels is wrong, he will look to those around him before pointing the finger at himself. He can't see himself making a mistake or causing an issue for himself so therefor it must have been someone else.

Naive ~ He can be naive in his thinking, sometimes its something small or it could be something large that he just didn't think about. It's part of him growing up, and finding out that he isn't as powerful or as perfect as he seemed to think he was. His naivety will be a great source of turmoil for him, he will trust someone just to realize that they are not who he thought they were. In addition he may do things that he feels are for the right reasons when really he was being used and manipulated into doing them for someone else. This will be a big growing step for him.

Secretive ~ He will never fully reveal anything to anyone. It will take a lot to break down his outer walls and see the true him. He feels that it's better for him to be alone because then he won't have to worry about others leaking or stealing his ideas. His Distrusting nature plays a large roll into his secretive attitude.

Distrusting ~ It takes a lot for him to accept others, and while on the outside you may think you have entered into his inner circle, really you are on the outside. He doesn't trust others easily and currently doesn't have anyone he feels isn't replaceable. He treats others coldly because that is the way he was brought up. His father was never extremely caring and viewed him as a useful tool that he could use. So therefor he views others as only being useful tools. The things he has cared about have all been taken away from him. His mother, and his feelings. Now he only wants revenge and will do whatever it takes to get it.

Biography/Background:
Roarke wandered the streets. He knew his father wouldn't approve, but he didn't much care. He had dropped his last name long ago when he found out the man he called father had merely purchased him for his mother. She had cared about him, she had loved him, and in the end his "Father" had killed her. Not directly of course, but because he enjoyed things.

He came upon a small group of nobles. after a few moments he realized they were talking secrets. He smirked at this. 'Did you hear? .... His daughter is adopted she isn't blood!' said one, the other responded with 'Oh really... and he thinks to cast stones....' it was interesting listening to the people who held similar station to his own. He had learned from a young age that this world of "Nobility" really just meant a world of cutthroat dealings to remain on top. This war was nothing more then a culling to him. He would never be drafted. He would collect secrets in order to remain where he was. It was easier for him to keep to the shadows and listen to all the secrets of those around him. It was then that he heard his father's name on the lips of these nobles. He glared a bit. He refused to let them use his secret. 'Kirentorin's son was bought when his wife couldn't have children!' the other laughed 'Yeah and look at what happened to her!' He glared more at the mention of his mother. How dare they talk about things they did not know or live. He slid back down the alleyway to tell his Father to prepare for the worst.

He smirked remembering one of the nobles there. If they choose to use the information about him, then he might just choose to let it slip that he saw that same noble exiting such a fine business that they run in the shadows. He was sure he could find that lady of the evening as well. He knew he was manipulative. He was accustomed to the shadows. There was nothing Money could not buy that a thief could not take. Still smirking to himself he walked through the doors of his home. He greeted the maid simply and walked up the stairs to his father's study.

He watched his father a moment, leaning against the door frame to the study. "I come baring news..." He said uninterested in his father. "If you care to hear it..." He watched as his father jumped slightly. It was ever so slightly, which made him smirk. He knew his father would never be fully accustomed to his walking in the shadows. He had learned to be silent which was a good trait for him.

"What is it..." his father exclaimed. "Out with it! I don't have all day!"

Still uninterested he merely responded with "It seems some of the other lords have figured out that you bought me... and that you may have killed my mother..." He was still uninterested, and his tone showed his boredom. He guessed that he had learned that from his father. He shrugged. "Not that it involves me... I don't really have to worry about it..." He said as he turned to leave. It was his father's high and mighty tone that made him stop.

"It doesn't involve you? HA! Don't make me laugh!" Was the harsh reply. "You are nothing! You will never be anything! I have made you what you are today!" His father was laughing now. "If they choose to draft anyone from this house It will be you!! I will gladly give you over to them!"

He glared back at his father. "We shall see father... Or... I could just use the information I have collected to save myself!" It was a sudden outburst of temper and he immediately regretted it. His father wouldn't let this one die. His father would never let something go that he thought could be of use to him. It was why his mother had died. She was no longer useful. He turned before his father could say another word and walked out. He knew this would enrage his father but he didn't care. He heard the yelling and the threats come from the study and follow him down the long hallways of the empty manor. He was alone again and that was all that mattered. He would live on his own forever! After all, it was only ever himself that he could count on. He needed to gather more information in order to save himself, but just how could he do it? How could he gather enough to put them down before they came for him? He would need to think about this more...

Thoughts on the Great Engagement:
He doesn't have many except that he refuses to be drafted into it. "Let them have their war... I have enough Secrets to keep me safe!" He would much rather collect the secrets of those around him and use them as leverage in order to remain where he is stationed. After all being a Noble was a tough life right? He will give them his own father before he allows himself to be taken. That he is firm on!

Thoughts on the Magescian Races:
All he has known so far are Oblivionites. Being of a Noble family he has seen very few hybrids and doesn't see a need to address them any differently then he would anyone else. After all they make just as good a mark as anyone else.

Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora:
Dragons: He hasn't met any thus far, so he will get back to you on that one once he has. They don't seem to be nearly as frightening as people claim.

Khehora: He hasn't met any of these either so he will reserve judgement until he has.

Naita: Khehora he met and fought side by side with against the 4 ysali dragons. She seems decent though he will not trust her yet...

Enemies:

The "Tiger" that stabbed him in the back alley. He may not know his name, but he will find him. He desperately wants revenge on him for wounding him just to get to his father. He may not understand the full reasons for this man's actions, but he will find them out. After all, secrets are his business!
