Among all of the equipment and sports gear that lie around ready for common use on the playing field, there is a section squared off for another test that the faction has created for new members. It's simple enough - you're given a paintball gun with a silencer on it - this is important, because guns are too noisy to be fired out in the open field, even if it's still protected by the electrified fence. It might attracted too much unwanted attention.

A crudely made mechanical device pops up cardboard cut outs of what looks like were once poster advertisements of various people. There's a busty woman smoking a cigarette and leaning on something that might have been a car. There's a young man in jeans that hang too low, trying to look like James Dean in a black and white photo. There are several of these cardboard people, most of which are only from the midsection up, that pop up at random times like Whack a Moles. Interspersed between them are similar cutouts - except these have been altered. The skin has been colored to green, eyes have been blackened or reddened, and blood seems to have been drawn everywhere. These are the infected. It's your job to shoot them. And only them.

The test isn't necessarily a chance to practice your shooting skills - it's meant to test your ability to make quick decisions, and a crude attempt to lesson friendly fire casualties. The cutouts pop up fast, and at random, making for a hectic challenge; so it's also a stress test.

Step One:
Roll 6d6 in one NON-RP post. Each dice is considered one cutout, in the exact order they are rolled. Even means it was a human, odd means it was a zombie.

Step Two:
In your next post, roll 6d6 again. Each dice is considered the shot for the cutouts in your first roll. The first dice tells you whether you hit the first cutout, and so on. Even means you shot it, odd means you did not shoot.
-You must roleplay each cutout individually, although you may do them all in this one post. Just describing what you hit is enough.
-This post in total must be a minimum of 300 words.

Example:
-I roll 6d6 and get 5, 6, 3, 1, 5. This means I have a zombie, a human, a zombie, a zombie, and a zombie, in that order.
-I roll 6d6 again, and get 6, 3, 5, 1, 2. This means I hit a zombie, I did not fire at a human, I did not fire at a zombie, I did not fire at a zombie, I hit a zombie.

IC Modifiers:
-Your character might be wary about shooting anything (This is your roleplay choice based on your character). If so, you are allowed to choose to change one of your six shots to a no-shot, each time you do this exercise.
-Your character might be trigger happy (This is your roleplay choice based on your character). If so, you are allowed to choose to change one of your six shots to a hit, each time you do this exercise.
-You may not do BOTH of these each time. Just one.
-You may choose to do neither.
-The choices you make do affect your end score.

Rewards:
For every zombie you hit, you get 1 bar. For every human you did not shoot, you get 1 bar. For every human you hit, you lose 1 bar. You cannot get negative numbers, so if your third shot hits a human and you are at 0, you remain at zero. You may do this once a day.

Even if it was only loaded with round balls filled with paint, there was something comforting about holding a gun again. Bing looked rifle over again, checked the mag, and then tucked the butt securely into the crook of his shoulder. He nodded to the operator to show he was ready, then focused all his attention on the gallery.

The first one to pop up had green paint over the eyes. It was the first thing he noticed, so Bing had no trouble squeezing off a shot. A splat of pink appeared on its left temple. Bing experienced a split second of satisfaction before the next one popped up.

His finger twitched at the trigger, nearly pulling off another shot. But his time in the mob had taught him to be a freaking professional about choosing your targets. Leave too much of a mess, and you'd be labeled a liability. The second cutout appeared to be an innocent Maybelline model. Be a shame to cover that pretty face with paint, anyway. He chose not to shoot.

He was pretty sure the third was another human. Bing kept his finger from the trigger.

When the fourth popped up, he didn't immediately see anything wrong with the cutout. He only noticed the red stains on its hands when it was falling down again. Damn, he shoulda shot.

The fifth one had the same stains, and a few more to boot. Definitely a zombie. A quick squeeze of the trigger, and that Calvin Klein model wouldn't be bothering anyone anymore.

Someone had fun on the last one. An Incredible Hulk cutout with red LEDs for the eyes, and a liberal application of red paint. Too easy. Bing added a bit of pink paint to the Hulk's forehead. Eat your heart out, Hawkeye.

When the Hulk fell, Bing lowered the gun, and nodded his thanks to the operator. Overall, not bad, though that one zombie would have been eating his intestines by now. At least he was still able to hit his freaking targets.

Bing found the paintball course to be the one moderately amusing activity to be had in the Prison, if you didn't count picking on Benji. So, he once again found himself with the butt of a paint gun nestled in his shoulder (neon blue paint this time), nodding at the operator to start the cutouts.

The first one popped up immediately. Someone had painted C-3PO green. And... someone had torn off R2D2's head, and stuffed it in C-3PO's mouth. Obviously a zombie, but the speed of it appearing, coupled with healing wounds, and ridiculous appearance resulted in Bing hesitating on the trigger, and then the cut-out was gone.

As he shot a "What was that s**t?" glance at the operator, the next cutout popped up. Bing remembered himself, and concentrated on the course again. But he only had time to recognize the cutout as a zombie before it was gone again. Tch.

Now fully focused, Bing accurately shot the next cutout, another, less eccentric zombie. It fell with a messy blue splatter in the middle of its forehead. If only he could be as accurate with his fists...

The next one to pop up was human, the first one so far this round. Bing kept his trigger finger steady, as Justin Bieber's cutout fell back down. Someone had missed an opportunity on that one. Or maybe they were just trying to tempt people.

The next one was Michael Jackson's zombie form from Thriller. Fitting. Bing left a bright blue spatter on his fancy red jacket. He absently wondered where they'd found all these different images, as the last one appeared.

And it was a human. Some model lady posing with a glass of wine. Bing smiled slightly, reminded of the slowly growing stash of beer he'd been stockpiling in his cell. The lady fell back down, unharmed, and the course was finished.

Not terrible, but not good, either. If he tried this again, he'd really need to focus on hitting those zombies. Shouldn't have let those first two slip by him. He handed the gun back to the operator, and headed back inside.
