It was a Saturday, and with no classes, and being on top of her homework and writing commissions for once, Olga was taking advantage of the weekend.
She missed the outdoors. While living in a big city was fun and exciting, she was still a country girl deep down and missed it, so she was fixing it. Olga was currently seated on the back of the bus, taking a line that actually went to the outer city limits, and just so happened to have a stop near the start of some hiking trails. This was her first time kind of venturing out of the city limits since she arrived, and it was exciting! On top of the promise of trees, rocks, leaves and water.
Before the bus reached the stop, Olga stood, and made her way towards the front, eager to get off right when the doors open. As the bus slowed, she couldn't help but sway, and found herself accidentally bumping into someone near her.
"Ack! Sorry!" She called, her brows knitting as she turned to see who she bumped.

Khaleel's first adventure into america had been with acquiring a room of sorts. The second had been to join the cities community college. He wasn't quite prepared for the rigorousness of university life. Not when he still need to settle into America and it's customs and culture.
One thing that didn't seem different was the easy access of transportation, and like his home land of Jordan, the transport buses were filled. Unlike Jordan though, it was not sweltering hot nor sticky with many people in the bus.
As the bus ride went along, he played on his cellphone, excited to explore the outer limits of the city and their trails. The sooner he found a trail he preferred, the more comfortable he would feel in the new land.
He held the bus pole, offering his seat for an older woman and standing a small distance away from Olga when he felt the bus tilt and sway, causing the girl to bump into him.
"It is not a problem!" He pocketed his phone and gently placed a hand on the small of her back. "It is a bumpy ride for sure! We must be getting close to our destination!" he tilted his head as he looked down at the woman. "Are you going on a hike today?"

Oh, there was a hand on the small of her back--- And it was attached to a hot guy. Olga sucked in some air, her cheeks tinting pink briefly as she stared at him. A foreign hottie too none the less---why. Why were there so many hot guys in Destiny City and why wasn't Destiny City a thing on tumblr yet!? Seriously! "Ye--" Olga cleared her throat a bit. "Yeah!" She blinked as he said 'our destination' and what that implied, that he liked nature too, had her grinning, despite her earlier astonishment. "I am!" She informed him cheerfully. "Are you?" What a coincidence if that was so!

Khaleel smiled at her slight pinken tone of skin and then let his hand fall to his side.
"Interesting! I am new to the americas, and to Destiny city. The travel book, it has many places to look but these trails seem to be highly recommended!" His smile didn't fade, even as she seemed to stumble a little with her words. If he could find a friend this fast, then it was a good day!
"Would you like to hike together?" He offered, "I have no partner and I don't mind the company? I would be absolutely thrilled if you joined me." Those green eyes were really like, just join me.
Join me on hike through nature with beautiful man.

How could she resist the siren call. The answer was she couldn't. Not only was he hot, he was also fleshing out to be very interesting! Good character. Plus, what could she say? She was utterly flattered that he wanted to go hiking with her only moments after a chance meeting. Maybe he was a serial killer--"I'd love too!" She piped up, and gave him a fox eyed grin, reaching up to grab onto the bar as the bus came to a stop. "Where did you come from, by the way? You have a killer accent!" Olga hopped down the stairs, rattling some dust on her hop to the ground. She moved forward, but paused before the trail selection, and spun on her heel. She adjusted her bag, and then thrust out a hand to the young man. "I'm Sol Olga Sayle! But you can just call me Olga!"

Ah, Khaleel couldn't help but be eager in return! She was very kind! And her quick agreement to a double hike was refreshing and fun.
Maybe she was a serial killer.......
"Fantastic!" He followed after her, jumping down and adjusting the small hiking bag on his back. It held the essentials. Water, Light snacks and a small sketch book. Should he find something that drew his attention, he wished to make a memory of it.
He stared at her hand and then wrapped his arms around her instead, in a very tight hug. "I am Khaleel Daher! I have come for Jordan, where I was born and raised." He nodded, then let go. "Is it? I like it, It makes me very unique." As if he wasn't already with the chipper attitude. "Your name is different, Sol Olga Sayle. S.O.S!" He grinned, "It is pleasure to be hiking with you today Olga."

It was a good thing he was wearing a shirt, because Olga would have exploded if he hadn't been when he pressed her against him. She was also just genuinely surprised to be enveloped by someone who had just as much enthusiasm as her. Aside from Nadia, she hadn't met anyone who acted like that to her yet. She let out a small squeak, but after a moment, she wrapped her arms back around him. Aww, hugs. So nice. "W-well! It's really nice to meet you, Khaleel! Wow! From Jordan!?" She looked at him with an amazed expression. "What brought you all the way here then?" Because that was definitely a long way from home. Olga laughed. "Yeah! S.O.S! My mom had a sense of humor, among other things." Olga gave him a fox eyed grin, and then moved towards the trails. There were a few to chose from, and she read the short descriptions underneath before point at one in particular. "Oooh! This one goes over creeks and to a water fall! You wanna go?"

Awww! She was hugging back, so Khaleel squeezed tighter! Friends already!
"I came to America to learn more. Family abroad, and I have heard I have relatives here. But I do not know where exactly." He nodded, "It is culture shock a little, which makes me nervous. I hope to fit in well." He looked at her, "Do you go to school here?"
and then she was pointing out a trail to the side and he rubbed his chin, thoughtfully.
"I would like to see a waterfall!" He reached in his pack and pulled the digital camera out, "I send pictures to my mom of my hikes, and she shows them off. Do you mind if I take your photo sometimes? She'd like if she knew I was making friends!"

So. Cool. "Wow!" Olga gasped, and then looked baffled. "Wait...you have family here but...you don't know where?" More bafflement. "Haven't you...spoken to them? Oh---pssssshaw." She waved a hand at him. "You don't want to fit in!" She grinned, and then nodded her head vigorously. "Yeah! I go to DCU--" Then noting he might not be so familiar with acronyms, said it fully "--Destiny City University. What school are you in?" She hoped it was DCU too. When Khaleel gave his sent, Olga started down the said path, adjusting her bag once more as she looked back at him over her shoulder. She blinked, briefly surprised (but very delighted) at the question. "Oh-- of course!" She gave him a brief fox eyed grin. Aww, he wanted to take her picture! Not the other way around for once! Though it did remind her that she needed to, and would. Her Polaroid was, of course, always with her. One of the best ships of all. Friend ship.

"I do not! It's okay though, I have been told that I would find them easily!" Khaleel grinned. "Oh the big university. I do not go that way! I am of Soverign heights. The community school."
He turned and took a picture, with the girl. Then he saved it and smiled.
"You are very pretty! That is nice!" He nodded, "You make good pictures right?"

Olga visibly deflated upon hearing he went to SH. "Aww, man!" She snapped her fingers, and then straightened herself back up. "Well then---we'll just have to hang out a lot then, yeah?" She pointed at him in exclamation as she hopped over a rock--only to stumble a bit as her cheeks burned red briefly. Hot foreign guy was complimenting her. On her looks none the less. She felt her chest swell happily despite her initial embarrassment. "Oh gosh---thank you!?" She rubbed the back of her neck briefly, and then laughed. "I guess I make good pictures? Well, I hope so, anyways!" She then fished through her bag until she got a hold of her Polaroid, and she turned and snapped a photo of him in return. " You definitely make good pictures." She grinned widely, and plucked the photo that popped out, waving it.

"I would like that! Anytime, any day but ....school days! That will have to wait till after." He nodded sagely, "We can exchange the phone numbers then, perhaps after this trip?"
He was tucking his phone away so he could enjoy the rest of the hike, huffing a breath as it got steeper.
"Thank you, my mom, she says I could be good model. Hot american fashion!" He laughed cheerfully, "I say no! Male models have to much..." He flexed his arms that were toned but not overly muscled. "You could be american model yes?"

Olga laughed. "Well, of course! After classes, yeah?" She nodded her head vigorously. "You got it!" At some point she slipped the photo she had taken into her bag, back with her camera, and was enjoying the burn that came with a good hike. She snickered. "I dunno...is American fashion that hot? Stuff in France always seems to have it going on---" If all those pictures she'd seen on tumblr were any indication. She looked over at him, laughed, and then reached to teasingly pinch his arm. "Not all of them! You could do it. Skinny jeans." She nodded her head and grinned before snorting. "No--" She started, "Noooooo not me---I'm not model material." She nodded her head seriously.

"Skinny jeans? Those are ones that cling to legs?" He made a face, "I prefer the breathing type of clothing! You know! Lots of room to move around!" Case in point, he dropped to a squat and then popped back up.
"I like to move! Moving lots." He rubbed his arm where she pinched, smiling all the while. "American fashion has lots of looks! In Jordan, we don't have such...color? It's better to wear the more cooler colors? Like olive?" he nodded. "It blends well, and it is so warm and humid."
He stopped.
"Look! At the top!" He pointed up, placing his hand on her shoulder to turn her toward the cliffside. At the top was a large eagle, it's gaze looking down at them. It waited a moment, but it was all the time Khaleel needed to take his phone out and snap a picture of the bird's wingspan flight into the sky.
"America is beautiful." he repeated, in awe.

Olga laughed. "Oh, they don't just cling---they become apart of your legs." She then made a creeper motion with her hands. "Ah, yeah! The breezy thing is really cool!" Reminded her of ship sails---hehe. She nodded her head. "It makes sense! Geeze...I really want to go visit your homeland!" She just wanted to travel a lot more, period. Olga stilled as he called out and pointed up, briefly glancing down at the hand on her shoulder before following where he was pointing. Olga's voice fell to a whispered hush. "Wow!" She breathed, and was even more impressed when it took off. She looked back at Khaleel, and giggled. "Yeah, it's pretty cool! You ever plan on visiting all around the country?"
