It was nearing midnight, and it was a beautiful night. The sky was clear, the stars shining with all their might, and the moon was a waxing crescent overhead. Standing in a pool of moonlight, gazing up the sky, was a silvery-white stallion... Probably. In the moonlight, it was hard to be sure if he was silvery, blue-ish, or what... The light gave him a gilded appearance. He gave a soft sigh, the kind some one gives when they are feeling content and relaxed, as a gentle breeze flowed through his mane and across is wings.
"T'would be nice if all nights could be this beautiful...." He murmured softly. "But I suppose that would be boring, and we'd not appreciate them as much as we do when they came..." His tail swished, side to side, so that the pointed hook shape at the end of it came into view every so often. "Welladay, I will appreciate this one while I have it." And with those words, he gently sank into a comfortable position on the ground, so that he could continue to enjoy the stars above. As he did, his horns, made of ice, caught the light, glittering with his movements.
