Of all the nerve! These males were annoying her oh so much. Letting Muse think she was nearby, Story slipped away quietly to air her mind. She could of spoken much more but what was the point honestly? She was sick of these debonair males playing "damsel in distress".
Honestly these males should be fawning over something so exquisite as herself. Not some simple little mare born of a family messed up as anything. But enough about Muse, things were revolving around Story. Rightfully so of course since she was the ultimate diva. But being straight to the point she was bored. Not just a random thought either since no attention was set just for her. So she set out on her own for once in her life to find something she felt was important.
Low and behold what did those emerald eyes see but one of her own kind. not a soquili mind you but a full winged variety such as herself. He seemed quite upset and agitated which peaked her interest. He was amusing mad as he was in her opinion. Still he wasn't worthy to blink an eye at her for he was rugged and crass in his looks. Not to mention he was wearing garments like those natives did and bandages. Still he might prove of interest when she decided to show herself to him. Which in a nutshell she just simply did sauntering over near him holding her head high. He had no horn though which was a disappointment. Either that or he stuffed his behind that headband. Heh not likely, this she knew.
"You seem to be in a tizzy. Girlfriend upset you possibly?" she spoke with a snide smile, "Or maybe you did something to irritate her perhaps?"
Smirking she tossed her head letting her small trinkets chime softly like a crystalline bell over those perfect sausage curls. Story knew she'd struck a nerve with her query. That was the fun of everything just simply upsetting others. She was much better then them of course so in reality the angeni diva mare felt she had a right to voice her opinion.

Sasuke grunted as he retrieved the kunai hearing the sound of an annoying female. He pulled his ears back as a warning while his breath was heavy and cautious. Eyes black as his raven colored hair met with the snide snerky profile of an undaunted mare. She was prim and proper the way she kept up her looks. She reminded the stallion of a mare he saw back at the residence with the other soquili. But this mare spoke to him visually plain and simple; a b***h. There was no other alternatives to his whole insight of her and her tongue. Right now she reminded him of Sakura or Ino even and yet her words were meant to rile him up.
"My business is none of your concern" he retorted with a flick of his ears glancing away from her, "Leave me alone."
He needed not to explain his predicament because this mare was nothing of a hindrance to him right now. Placing the kunai in a secure place he began walking away hoping the mare would get a hint finally. His mind was shouting at him enough without the taunt of a mare that looked like she walked out of a legend or a fairy tale. He turned his head only slightly to speak once more, "Don't mess with me or you'll get hurt".
Then the angeni stallion flicked his ears and leaped into the air. Powerful movements and muscles pushed him higher till he was out of her range of hearing. He had to figure out how to bring Kunai back and apologize for his mistake. But then again he was a proud Uchiha with no reason to admit his own faults. He snorted as the annoying mare slipped out of view.
"Heh.....good riddance" he mumbled then sought out another place to congeal his thoughts together.

Oh the nerve of him to blatantly just brush her aside. Her brow furrowed as she watched him take off hurriedly into the ocean of blue letting it swallow him from her gaze. Giving a sharp huff the angenicorn mare flicked her ears in irritation accompanied by a stomped hoof.
"None of my concern?! How dare he...." she seethed looking upward again, "he was quite immature to not even know beauty when it lied before him like a peacock in a godly realm. Two can play at that game but hers was much more deeper than his. Spreading out her angel white feathery wings she flapped them in one push lifting her off the ground. Two can try but one surely would win this game in any given charade. Snorting she pulled herself further up further into the clouds scanning for that insolent stallion. He was in need of a lecture and more so he needed to apologize. She was indeed no normal mare like Muse and the others. She was purpose and deserved respect for him even attempting conversation in his response to her.
While she was hidden in a cloud she caught sight of him descending into a forested clearing, "There you are. I hope you have time for an apology. For I am not leaving till you do." Her ears flicked as her hooves brushed the air pulling her out in the open so she could pick up speed to follow him into the dense forest.

The stallion landed with a thud into the loose soil. He was perturbed and overly irritated that a haughty mare would even approach him like an insensitive cow. Snorting he broke into a gallop as the rain started to drizzle then meld into a straining downpour.
"Heh. Hope she drowns out there", he grumbled to himself slowing into a canter then a walk into the depth of the woods. It was a nightmare indeed to him, this whole fiasco of this world. He was sure that it was a nightmare like that of his murdered parents, his brother standing there over their stiffened bodies. Slashed downward in pure innocence. He cried out tears streaming his eyes as his muzzle pulled taut over his his teeth. It never stopped playing within his mind the pure agony he felt as a child seeing them taken from him.
"Why Sasuke.... Why", his eyes blurred seeing a mare standing there in the shadows crying. She stood with three fillies glued to her so tightly they would of been bonded permanently for life. One looked at him with eyes like Naruto's questioning but forgiving.
Stomping the ground again he pulled another kunai from his pouch and lobbed it into the nearest tree. Why did he do it? She gave him her word as all ninjas live by. Why did he threaten her existence because they had all daughters? He flicked his ears toward the tree then walked slowly over to pull it out of the tree.
How would he ever forgive himself enough to utter an apology and forgiveness from her. Never had he felt this torn even in the events of his dreams even Orichimaru. It was a never ending mess that kept replaying over and over till it would start again.
He came to a halt breathing in sharply a scent of roses. She couldn't of found me... could she?

The clouds felt damp causing the mare to push downward still following the stallion. The drizzle started picking up to a steady downpour making Story headed inward toward the heavy foliage. As her hooves touched the ground she steadied herself as those green orbs scanned for that damn stallion. Lowering her head she inhaled the ground looking for that scent. She squinted at the depth into the heavy ferns noticing breakage.
"There you are...." she grinned with a toss of her curled mane, "Now you can apologize for being so rude."
Moving deeper in the forest the rain began pelting the trees above sending a little shower through some of the sparser trees. She grumbled and walked slowly looking around carefully where she stepped. Last thing she needed was to get tangled up in briars or messy weeds that reached out to grab her. Scanning her eyes searched as her ears listened for any movement. She paused moving a little more now when she heard a scream that echoed around her.
"Found you", she grinned moving closer till she was watching him from the shadows. Settling in to spy on him she flicked her ears toward the arrogant stallion, "Just for safe measures though, "I better disappear."
Closing her eyes she vanished staying perfectly still as she watched the scene unfold before her.

Ears laid back upon his head the stallion snorted. In this moment he really pined for his eyes but that foolish damn wolf was off running around somewhere. Figured it would be his luck at this moment. When in the hell would he awake from this nightmare?! Stamping the ground he hissed pulling breath deep from his lungs.
"You foolish mare! Show yourself, " listening he trained his hearing on any movement she might make. Her aroma was nauseating to him perhaps roses was putting lightly. When she made no sound he grew agitated for this game was growing old in its prime. Pausing he smirked for an idea skimmed over his mind. If she wanted a game he'd give her one.
"Heh. You are an usuratonkachi and useless. Pathetic useless and", his eyes narrowed with a flick of his ears, "meaningless in your goal to unnerve me". He halted listening knowing he was hitting a nerve as a breath of wind was heard in the nearby bushes. "So useless in fact that no one wants you. No one cares for you. You are ... Alone. Heh".
Now he would wait for any moment that deranged mate hellbent to rile him into anger would surely pop out of her hiding place and scream like a banshee.
"Alone".

A stallion crying? Oh this was too good to be true! But, honestly it tore at her a little seeing something that strong break like a twig. She was certain he had some serious mental issues going on inside that brain of his. For a moment she felt sorry for him wondering what had happened but her callous cynical nature played through even more. He was indeed strong but yet he was a child hiding deep within a stallion's heart, mind, and soul.
It was a moment later he baited her out of hiding that threw her into quite a tizzy and rage. Harsh words that frightened her to her senses knowing full well he was right. How dare he point out the fact this vain creature was a filly in herself as she looked outward at a deceptive mirror.
"Meaningless!", she growled in a deep whinny stumbling out of her hiding place, "You haven't a clue who or what I am you callous beast!"
Shaking her head she stamped a hoof hard into the ground, "You couldn't even talk to me just shoo yourself into that little world of yours. Ask me you're the one that is pathetic and.... Alone."
Now she struck a chord because she seen his shoulders twitch. All she wanted was recognition and an apology for being ignored. Was that really too much to ask of this child stallion whose cheeks were darkened with fresh tears? She knew it was a game of risk but honestly she would stand her ground. No stallion was going to make a mockery of her.
Suddenly, the rain pelted down so hard it reached scattered areas of the thick clearing they both stood within. Even if it was her desire to run she was stuck for a bit till the heavy ending summer rains ceased and cleared up.

He felt his neck, shoulders, and haunches tighten at a ridiculous level. His memories clouding his judgement faded inward for his aggression toward this cynical female made him feel angry if not completely unwound from her presence. He had enough to deal with without bearing another spell of her ignorant understanding. But Sasuke was arrogant in his own right giving a smirk toward her, his eyes seemingly growing darker.
"Heh. Poor abandoned mare dressed for the royal gala lost her way. You are not even worthy to hear my words let alone my thoughts. Your snide remarks don't bother me in the least. You are not worth my time as I've said before. Heh", he commented turning away from her with a flick of his tail.
He bent down to pick up another Kunai and place it in his pouch ignoring her fully this time.
Now it would be worse than Sakura and Ino crying their feelings out like a waterfall. He deserved no one at this point after the monster he'd become. Right now he wished this mare would be like a story and end after her climactic ending as she faded away.
After the rain slowed up he's find another safe place to be alone with his thoughts again. He'd just have to wait till then.
