Methone rested her arms behind her back, strolling the park with a casual leisure the dancer was well acquainted with. Being an eternal senshi now, was in part, very different.
She felt stronger. She felt like she could take on the world if it'd take her.
But she also was way too lazy for that. So instead, she was strolling the park with her silver lady, this time, instead of searching trouble out, they were just...searching.
"So, can you explain to me again. When cats turn into human form, the have a excessively large aura? But as cats, you guys can...dampen auras?" She thought about it, "so like, walking with me? Does that mean people can sense me out still or no?"

It was nice to just walk, once in a while, and enjoy the fresh air. For once, Ash was content to simply enjoy the company rather than push for this supposed patrol to actually go anywhere. It wasn't in Methone's nature to push herself too hard in these things and she was coming to accept that that was simply how things were for her Senshi. This was how she approached her power and there was no denying that when it mattered, she'd be right there with the rest of them, doing her duty. The rank she'd achieved was proof of that.
"Yes, basically." She replied as she trotted along at the girl's feet, her path wandering to avoid pits and ruts and bits that looked excessively dusty in the sidewalk. "I have barely any aura in this form, but when I release my true form, it comes with a massive aura. Sadly means I have to limit when I can actually take it, which always makes me a little sad. I have to be somewhere safe, or with people who can protect me, unless I want to deal with the unwanted attention it brings."
As the pair approached a retaining wall, Ash veered to the side and leaped smoothly to the top of it, putting her more on Methone's waist level now as they walked.
"I can also, if I concentrate, dampen the auras around me. There are limits to how many people I can cover, of course, and I can only do it for a few hours. Right now your aura is still all bright and lovely, because I'm not actively dampening it. I could be though, but it a bit distracting to hold onto it, mentally. Once I'm doing it, you have no aura at all, which is very useful. Sadly, I can't dampen my own, which is another sadness."

Tonight she had decided to take a different route home, in an attempt to avoid the temptation of peeking into the deli and bothering Hitch. Or getting a sandwich. Something she didn't really need right now as, for once, her fridge was fully stocked. She'd actually go shopping so she could create her own dinners! Well, that was the idea anyways. Otherwise she'd just go see if her neighbors were hungry and share food with them.
Pulling her iPod out of her pocket, Kodi was seeking to find a new song when she heard voices. Glancing around she spotted a girl. On her own. Confused by this, she looked around to see if there was someone else. But... she couldn't find anyone. And the girl was still talking. With another voice responding.
Kodi stopped walking. Was she really losing it? Or was that girl.. y'know, one of those people that talks to themselves and has different personalities- OH look there was a cat! She was talking to the cat.
Wait... she was... talking to the cat. And... and it... "Holy s**t!" She gasped out loud, staring in bewilderment. There was no effing way that cat had just spoken! No. Way. Unless... unless it was some new childs toy she had yet to hear of. But intelligent sentences? That was some wicked awesome programming.

Methone wrapped her hands behind her back and thought about that. So like magic, it required the mental channeling. And as a human, it made them easy targets? That was sad.
"Does having a larger aura make your more suspectiable to Negaverse draining, or is it just easier for them to find you?" Methone wasn't quite sure.
She was going to ask more questions when she froze and stared at the girl. Civilians seeing her talking to Ash? Civilians seeing her?
Oh jesus.
"HEY THERE. DO YOU LIKE MY TRICK?" Methone pretended, "I've been practicing my uh..." wow the lazy senshi couldn't even think of a proper lie for this..."Ventriloquism."

"Its just easier to find me." Ash said, her voice reassuring. "As far as I know, I'm not easier to drain, but I guess I've never been drained before. Thankfully..."
The sound of a voice nearby pulled her up short and the silver cat froze in place, her ears swiveling forward to train on the civilian who had appeared out of seeming thin air.
Crap. The gasp from the girl confirmed she'd seen something, though it was hard to tell how much. Could they pass it off as something else? Methone was certainly trying... but she was honestly not sure it was going to work very well.
There was... something different about this girl though. Something...
Letting Methone deal with explanations, Ash wandered towards the stranger with a plaintive Maow, her tail curling in question behind her. If she could just... get close enough... maybe she'd be able to tell what it was she felt. If it was what she thought it was.

She didn't really understand anything that the girl had been talking about. Not that she'd really been paying that close attention. No, her attention was completely on the fact that there was no one but that cat there. And there was no possible explanation for what she thought she had witnessed. It just... wasn't possible!
Kodi blinked and stared at the girl. "Uh... " Her trick? Was... was that what it had been? She looked between the girl and the cat, who was moving closer and looking cute in that kitty way.
"Ventrilo... what?" That sounded vaguely familiar. Wasn't that something that magicians did? Some trick with the voice? That... that made more sense. Right? Then why did she still feel unnerved and like there was something she was missing here... Whimsical Blue I didn't get any notices for these D:

Methone was trying really hard to get that lie across but she was pretty sure it was not working.
So she went for straight flirting tactics.
"It's this magic trick, I've got a couple up my sleeve, gorgeous." She stepped closer, "I just came from a show, sorry about the costume and all, would you like to see some others?"
WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO TO HER PAD? Also what was Ash doing over there?

I am such a horrible person... and fell into a huge RP funk for a time with stress from work not helping and all that fun stuff. But I am attempting to get back into things and I was wondering if you'd both be interested in completing this awakening still with me? Or even if it were just Blue and I? I'd greatly appreciate it! ;u; <3
