It was dawn and the birds had just began to twitter in the trees, Inari went about his daily routine of dance practice while they waited for their younger brother to wake. With each paw carefully placed Inari was a dynamic mix of smooth and explosive motion, each move to practice the two fundamental active movements of the muscle. Pushing and pulling the air around them in such a manner which made them appear to be fluid in movement. The music in their head frelt to him as if it was almost crossing the boundaries of reality but it remained.
Inari had arranged a morning with Shiro to organise what they needed for the time they would arrive at the lifemating ceremony the next day, they would leave today and arrive in the evening, sleep and be fresh for the morning. There was always something heartwrenching about doing ceremonies for larger groups once resmbling their own in size, it was rare the brothers had the chance to entertain and do ceremonies for groups as large but at any chance with a carefully placed mask on their face they carried them out anyway.
Heart thumping hard in their chest the assasin finally finished their routine and tried to catch their breath.
It was coming up to the agreed time for meeting but there was just a little more time to get some water before heading back to the main campsite. Inari's ears perked and pointed from one direction to another as he listenined the bustling wildlife around him, it was not always so aparent for busy-bodies but if one took time to slow down and listen to their surroundings they would notice that so many sounds make up the atmosphere in their suroundings, as a child, half of the trouble went into figuring out which sounds were which and which sounds where made by who. A rustle in the bush could be anything from a little rabbit to an unwanted predator and it was Inari who always liked to maintain his brother's in the position of the main predators of the area but there were always the odd exceptions with the occasional skinwalker. All were threats to a degree in a group they were often safe than alone but there was every reason for them to train as they did as they were never sure who they'd meet. Inari saw that in the eyes of a walker they were the ones doing them harm by living on their land and eating their potential sources of food which potentially made them also dinner but in truth the brothers would take what they could get, maybe in time they could settle but for now all they could do is carry on and push through the harder times, as they always say, the show must go on and Inari firmly believed in that.
Minutes later Inari had finished his water and decided to head back, he expected his brother to be waiting for him wondering where he was. Inari made it back to the campsite and swooped up a cloth into the air with his paws, it was light on the air and so he caught it in his mouth.
'Now where is that brother of mine', he thought to himself.
