As Mano was walking along through the forest, just the edge since he didn't know the Jauhar well and didn't want to get lost, he found himself face to face with something... really weird. He wasn't sure how to describe the creatures as anything else but weird. They were small, covered in spines, looking in two different directions at once, and seemed to be drooling bubbles. They weren't exactly intimidating by any stretch of the imagination and yet he couldn't find it in himself to really advance on them. Was there really any reason to fight with such creatures after all? Probably not, not when they weren't attacking him, but instead starring at him. Well, possibly starring at him, it was kind of hard to tell exactly where the things were looking after all. They might very well be looking right passed him and at something behind him instead.
Flipping his trident around he gave one of the two strange creatures a nudge with it, giving a slight jump when the beast inflated in an attempt to look bigger and more opposing. If anything it just had him starring for a long moment before he gave a sigh, "You really are an odd one, aren't you?" He muttered to himself, not sure what to think about them. After a moment of staying puffed up the spiny beast started to slowly let all the air out in the form of a wave of bubbles, "Yeah, you're really odd. Like nothing I have ever seen before." He said, giving the creature another nudge. This time, instead of puffing up it instead just sort of rolled off the rock, landing on its back, where it set to kicking its feet in a rather pathetic manner. It was at this moment Mano found hmself wondering how such a creature had survived up to this point. They didn't seem to smart, fast, or dangerous, instead the opposite seemed to be true, and yet here they were.
"Do predators just no bother before you're so pathetic?" He asked of the critter that was stuck on its back. Sighing he reached out with the end of his trident again, flipping the thing over, back onto its feet and turned to walk away. No reason to pick on them further, he'd sort of learned all he needed to about them after all. There was no reason to really keep bothering the odd beasts when he'd already figured out all of what there seemed to be to learn about them. Of course just as he thought that he heard a repeated 'splat' sound, that of the two odd beasts hopping along in a slow, lazy manner, seeming to be following along after Mano.
It was something that had him turning to give them a look before quickening his pace a little, not wanting to be followed by the things. What if they followed him all the way to camp and decided to try to get into this things after all? Not something that Mano wanted to deal with. As such he quickened his pace to try to keep ahead of the weirdos that were following him.
