Hugbell was sitting in the pirate ship jungle gym's bird's nest legs dangling from her perch her arms were rested on the rim of the nest looking out over the park. Her butter yellow eyes were half closed as she was thinking about what had gone on the past few months including her new glowing tattoos that plagued her arms.
The girl wasn't even sure what they were for but it was weird not having her actual ribbons there and she just felt odd glowing.

Amytis wasn't sure why she had chosen to wander to the playground, but it felt as good as any place. Maybe it was the gentle sing of an oddly pure aura, and a last pathetic flash of hope, because perhaps this person could help her - but she wouldn't ask, because she had asked far too much already.
She walked onto the playground, and spotted what had to be the source of the aura - a little girl, all aglow with ribbons, not much older than Cruithne.
And she was familiar. "Hug-bell?" She asked, and her tone was curious. The young girl had been a Princess, in her future dreams. "Um, I'm sorry, I don't think we've met. I'm Amytis."

Yellow eyes shifted down, she hadn't noticed the dark mirror aurora though she'd been fairly distracted thinking about what was going on with the glow.
The teen looked fairly startled and tilted her head at Amytis before smiling, "Hi?" She replied before climbing down and settling on the edge of the boat. "I'm Hugbell, but you might already know that!" She was trying to search her memory for why this one looked familiar. ". . . are you sure we haven't met?" She inquired.
She'd had some weird dreams in the past few months and somehow it felt like she'd seen this one in one of those dreams though it was vague and hard to tell for sure. However she shrugged softly and smiled towards the girl, "What brings you around here tonight Amytis?"

Amytis sat down on the ground, obviously getting comfortable for a chat. At least for a little while, she could do this, instead of being drowned under all her worries.
"I'm...Chariklo's fiancee," which was still sort of true, and how most people would probably know her. In relation to her lady love. "It's nice to meet you, Hugbell." She seemed like a sweet kid, so far, at least.
"I was just...wandering," she confessed. "I do that a lot."

Hugbell's head tilted as she thought about the name Chariklo and pondered on it for a few moments before suddenly something passed by her mind, "OOOhhhhhhh....." She started laughing a little bit, "So there might've been something to those dreams. . . " She mused softly.
Hugbell nodded when the other confessed she was wandering, "Wandering is a good way to meet new people. I like sitting here and watching the stars." She said softly as she pulled her knees to her chest and rested her chin on them.
"Of course, this particular playground was always nice because I met other chibis here, when I was younger. . . " She paused, that sounded so odd to say because she was still practically just a kid, she'd only become a teenager earlier this year. "Aha, I mean when I was newer to the whole senshi thing and still a chibi. . . "
She smiled softly, "Though it seems this parks' fairly good for meeting dark mirrors too, I've met Leto before as well and Remarque; are they friends with you?" She asked curiously. "I mean I assume your group's smaller than ours or the negaverse. . ."

Oh, so Hugbell had dreamed -- well, she wasn't going to push on that, because no one deserved to be pushed on anything like that. So she just folded her hands in her lap and nodded. She wasn't really looking for people - was still afraid to deal with people too much, because people were hard. People asked questions. But this was okay, so far.
"Oh, you were a chibi? You must be so young, then!" She aid. Just like Cruithne - but much less vulnerable, if she remembered the meaning of those glow markings right.
"Yes, I know Leto and Remarque. Our Prince and Princess-- and yes, they are...definitely my friends." She brought a hand to her cheek and smiled faintly. Oh, they were definitely dear to her.

Hugbell gave a small laugh when the other said she must be so young, "Just turned 14, apparently that's when chibis are old enough to be real senshi." She shifted so she was sitting on her knees looking towards Amytis. "It was hard enough getting here without the older senshi trying to tell me I shouldn't be in the war. I mean I know it's not really a place for a kid but obviously there was a reason I was suppose to be here or I wouldn't've been a senshi at such a young age right?"
There was a gleeful smile when the other mentioned she knew both of them, "Will you tell them I said Hi? I know it's been a little while since I've spoken to both of them, unless Leto's told him I doubt Remarque knows I'm not a chibi anymore."
She seemed to think and then tilted her head at Amytis, "Hey is it fun to walk through mirrors? I know Remarque mentioned that last time I saw him." Obviously this had been a burning question since the teen wasn't sure how that even worked, "I mean I know it's magic and all but it just seems like such a neat thing to be able to do!" Hugbell was sure Zirconia could do this too however being such a stuffy cat and the fact that she hadn't seen Zia in forever gave Hugbell an excuse to ask someone different the question.

Amytis nodded. It wasn't on her to judge why Chibis were chosen, any more than it was on her to judge why any Senshi was (even if she wondered often what made her special enough.) "I'm sure you were very brave through all of it, and anyone that told you to stay away was just worried for you." She had children once. What would she have done if, farther in the future, Natasha or Aarne had become a Senshi? Terrifying. She would want to protect them.
But she kept that to herself and instead smile and nodded. "I'll pass it along!" She promised. Though she couldn't help but wonder how pleased Remarque would be to learn Hugbell was even farther out of their reach.
"Mirror walking is...fascinating," she admitted. "Going from mirror to mirror isn't quite so fun, but in the middle, there's mirrorspace - it's this...place, and it'll give you whatever you need, as long as you're a Dark Mirror."

Hugbell listened and chuckled sheepishly, "I try to be. I might not be that great of a fighter, but I take up for myself when I have to. I also try to make sure the other chibis are well aware and can take up for themselves because there's not always going to be an adult to save us."
She smiled when Amy promised she'd pass it along. "Maybe we could all do something fun at some point." The teen added, despite the fact her idea of fun might not always include things that the older crowd might like she was pretty sure that it'd be pretty cool. "Maybe a trip to the zoo at night. I wonder how cool that would be."
She nodded listening as Amy described Mirror walking, "Ohhh, it sounds interesting!" She tilted her head still curious, "Oh, so it'll help you if you ever need help then? Sort of like a friend? I wish my magic was able to do more things like that, but I can summon Barnaby to comfort people that need a hug."
Actually, Hugbell seemed to still be thinking about the mirror and after a few moments, "Oh! You know there's a mirror in the ship, I bet it's big enough for you walk through. If you ever needed a place to come and think." While the ship was made for kids it was fairly large and ornate for a toy. "I can show you if you want."

Amytis nodded with interest. It was good to hear that someone was looking out for the littlest among them, because those kids needed all the help they could get. And she definitely laughed a little at the idea of a group trip to the zoo, but she nodded.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea," she said, though she wasn't sure if Remarque or Leto would find it quite as fun. Oh well, it would be an adventure, right? Seeing the Prince and Princess of the Dark Mirror in a zoo with a tiny, excited Senshi...yes, that would be a delight.
She blinked, and then nodded at Hugbell's offer. "I would love to see that mirror," she said, and she stood up. "And I would love to see your magic someday, that sounds...really wonderful," she said. "Mirrorspace takes care of us, in a way. It is like a friend, even if I've never seen it have a face."

The teen smiled as the other said it sounded like a wonderful idea. "What's your favorite animal?" She asked as she stood up.
Nodded Hugbell offered her hand to the other so that they could walk together towards the mirror or that Hugbell could guide her easier. "It's a little dark at night but not too hard to navigate."
She pulled out of her subspace pocket a bear and then turned to a small backpack that she'd been carrying on her back and pulled out a little flashlight. "I try to keep some basics just in case. Never know when you need a good flashlight."
When Amytis was ready Hugbell lead them with a hum. "Mirrorspace sounds like a good friend, I think homeworlds are like that too in a way. You can't see their face but they help you where they can."
"I can show you my magic, it's not that difficult. Lets get to the mirror first though! if it's not gone I've hidden a small battery operated lamp inside the hull so it's easier to see around. I think you might like my ribbon, my actual magic though causes Barnaby here to expand so you can sit on him or he can catch you if you fall from a high place. He's fairly useful, though I haven't had to use him much since I've grown."

Amytis paused for a moment, considering the question. "I liken big cats. Lions, tigers." She said, and then she went to follow Hugbell into the ship's hull, curious. It was cute to see the kid being so well-prepared, and she wondered if she could do that.
And to think of Mirrorspace like a homeworld...was an interesting thought. She would have liked to see her homeworld, but maybe she already had one in the misty shifting planes between mirrors.
It could be hers, as much as anyone's, if only she took it.
"Your magic sounds nice. Mine is..." She bit the inside of her cheek, and then shook her head. "Not...very."

Hugbell listened and nodded, "The Big cats are pretty awesome, I like Penguins they're so cute and dapper in the tux's. Polar bears are pretty awesome too." She added.
There was a small pause as Hugbell looked back at Amytis said her magic wasn't very nice. "What's it do? I'm not afraid, I know magic is only to defend yourself with or help someone else depending on need. I know you won't use it against me."
She was looking Amytis in the eyes as she spoke before smiling again, pausing to give the girl a quick hug in reassurance before continuing down a small hallway. "Oh here we go, it'll be this one!" Each room had something different in it this one had a few fun mirrors and a normal one with a toy cannon and a table. "I wonder if it's still here." She moved and pulled against one of the fun house mirrors, "There's actually little cubby holes where the mirrors are placed, in case something needs to be worked on. Ah-ha!" She pulled out the little lantern. "I kept this here because we had meetings back when some of my other friends were still around. I bet they're totally busy where ever they are now; who knows where."
She turned on the lamp but the batteries were dead she made a small face before digging for the spare batteries and replacing them. "There." The light cast a small warm glow on the room. She giggled as she put the mirror back and stared at her reflection and how it was warped in this on.

Amytis swallowed. "It, um, turns back whatever people do to me on them. So if they hit me, they hurt. If they use magic on me, they feel it. It's, um." She coughed. "I'm the Senshi of Karma. So it's...a little more instant, and simplified, than karma really is, but it's...it works."
She stepped into the ship, ducking her head a little and looking around. THe hug was unexpected, but maybe it should have been, and she definitely squeezed back. Physical reassurance was probably her favorite thing in the world, and if the girl's name was any indication, she has a lot of it to give.
"This is really nice, Hugbell," she said, a gentle smile on her face. She reached out to touch the full-length mirror, and as she expected, it had the familiar give. Just one step and she could go through it.
"I'll remember this place, and maybe I'll come back and look for you again."

Hugbell paused as she looked towards Amytis, "That actually sounds really useful ad helpful. It might not be nice but if someone intends to hurt you. I mean, really while eye for an eye isn't always the best answer it'd likely make them think twice."
She continued to smile though never faltering as she sat down a the little table, "It's the best place to come and hide from the world sometimes. Just talk about things and dreams. Or pretend you're really on a ship and part of the crew." She chuckled, "It might seem silly but sometimes it's more fun that way."
She sat Barnaby on the table and pulled out his ribbon, "Of course, you're more than welcome, I can come back to visit more often too since I know we can meet here. It'd be nice to have friends in the club again."
When she tied the ribbon around Barnaby's neck she hummed waiting for him to wake up. "Good Morning sweetie, say hi to our new friend Amytis." She said softly as the stuffed animal yawned and stretched, before looking towards the dark mirror and waved. He stood up and walked towards the edge of the table closest to the new person looking her over with a curious look.
"She's okay," Hugbell added. "I'm sure she could use a hug if you wanted to give her one." Barnaby nodded as Hugbell said this and waited to see if Amytis would come closer before offering the hug.
