Hello Everyone,

As it has been a very extended absence for me I figured I would re-introduce myself and invite others to do the same.

I started this guild from the thread Army Of Helaman, which was originally moderated by Termas. At one point it was very active and I would love for it to become that way again.

I am now married to whom I previously dated, screen-name ConcreteAngel (not just on Gaia, in RL... lol) We have two handsome, rambunctious little boys ages 4 and 11 months. The 11 month old is sitting on my lap at this moment making it difficult to use the computer but I am used to it by now.

Hello!

I've been on gaia since 2005 (holy crap 10 years.. emotion_0A0 ) I had gone on a 2 year hiatus, and have recently come back on.

I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life. In my very late teen years I feel away from the church for a while. I got married to a wonderful man. The missionaries came to our door one day and gave my husband the lessons. Long story short, I've become very active, and we got sealed in the temple 5 years ago. smile

Mmmm... I guess that's it? I'm not really good at introductions.. haha

Hello, I have no idea what to say. I have been on gaia since 2003 with several bouts of inactivity in the time I have been here. I have been a member of the church my whole life, I am currently a relief society teacher in my ysa ward. Yep no idea what to say.

I too have been a member my whole life - I married ConcreteAngel, whom I met at a church dance (though it was an extended period of time before we were actually OLD enough to get married... XD)

I began dating very young in retrospect. February 2016 will mark 12 years since we started dating, this December will mark 8 years since we have been married.

I joined Gaia to be able to talk to her more and found myself enjoying it very much.

I must say though, that after having been absent from Gaia since before I left on my mission to Las Vegas, that I am extremely surprised by the inflation... having a million gold when I left was something to be proud of, now I can earn 332 million gold my first time playing a game....

I know right? I feel like I'm at some sort of AA meeting. "Hello, my name is Fawks, and... I'm a Mormon!" emotion_0A0 lol

It's nice to meet you smile

Yeah they a while back introduced "gold generators" and it really jacked the prices up on stuff.

However, they make it easier to get a lot of gold. I mean posting in the forums gives you 10k each post. There's also some games that'll give you millions of gold as prizes.

What happened to the gaia market

Hello peoples of this earth (and this guild)! I'm Oreo and I'm Mormon (ikr such a surprise)! I've been a member all my life and am currently the beehive president in my branch. I'm fairly new to Gaia but I'm having fun so I plan to be on for a long time. I'm 13 years old (almost 14! I'll be 14 in November) and am going into 8th grade. I like the arts in general so I enjoy anything involving music, art, acting, writing, etc. My favorite musical artists are Lindsey Stirling, the Piano Guys, PTX, Fall Out Boy, and Owl City. I play the flute, piano, violin, xylophone, and recoreder and really want to learn how to play the harp, piccolo, clarinet, and oboe.

Well, that's me. So yah. Have a nice day! whee

I've been here since at Gaia since 2003. My full time job and my three year old suck my life away. I lurk on Gaia, so even if I do not post, I will be here.

I married the first guy I met at BYU-Idaho XD Never go to BYU single!

I just recently rejoined gaia myself. I actually forgot I was part of this guild. It's fun to be back!

I forgot to introduce myself yesterday when I posted. I am 25 and haven't been a regular on gaia for….probably 8 years, at least. I joined gaia about the time the manga was new! Yeah, a lot has changed, and I can't say I'm too psyched about inflation either. It's messy.
I have been a member my whole life and can honestly say that the church is the same church around the world (love it!) I was just called as a Beehive Adviser a few months ago; so Oreo, I could be your adviser! Jk.
I will probably "gaia" in spurts; as life gets in the way of recreation… and as I play other games

In the article that Fawks linked I noticed that they mentioned a "mass exodus" of gaia players.

Any idea if there is a different place that they exited to? Gaia seems almost deserted, I used to be able to find members of the church just by moving through the forums.

I don't really know why a whole lot of people are leaving but I do know first hand that sometimes websites get boring after a while. For me at least it's because of the whole "bigger, better, faster, stronger" thing. I would prefer it if websites didn't put in new updates that can be confusing. I know updates are sometimes actually a good thing but websites want money so they change things so you have to pay with more real life money than online money such as Gaia Gold. That really bugs me and plays a part in me not spending as much time on it (I would rather not spend my money on a website such as this). The good thing about Gaia is that they make it so you can earn Gaia Cash for free instead of other websites that I've been on where you either have to spend a whole lot of real money or you have to buy a special membership (which also costs real money).

So again I am newer to Gaia and don't really know why everyone is leaving but it might have to do with what I just said above (that is if other people agree with me on the above).

As it is frequently called. I know what you mean about work and kids, while I am currently looking for a new job I am still plenty busy with my 4 year old and 11 month old boys.

Welcome back!
I'd also like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Tyler, I'm an RM from the California Long Beach Mission (2012-2014), on a short break from BYU-I to save, and currently work at a transmission fabrication center in Michigan.

I hope to be able to get to know you guys more!

I mostly hear people call it BYU I do. I'm mostly heard BYU called happy husband hunting grounds.
I do am from BYUI and (to my shame) found my husband there. I never wanted to be one of those people, but I love my husband, so just as glad it did.

Hey all! Sorry I haven't posted yet. As Paladin said, busy life with 2 young ones.

So, anywhoo. I am ConcreteAngel, wife to Paladin IRL. I am currently typing this one handed as the 11 month old is asleep on me. (oh the talents you develop as a mom you ever even though of before).

I don't even remember how I came across Gaia originally but I got hooked lol. After Paladin went on his mission, and after some issues with a 'takeover' in the guild, I became less interested in it. And yes, interest in things like this do lull over time. Came back because I was feeling nostalgic after recent conversations.

I have been a member my whole life as well. Despite trials in being able to actually attend on a regular basis, I still strongly believe in the gospel and we are trying to raise our boys in it as much as possible.

I look forward to getting to know you all as much as kids and other obligations allow. xp
