A basilisk - 1d6 2. A goat - 1d8 3. A wolf - 1d10 4. A spider -1d6 5. A tiger - 1d8 6. Turtle - 1d4 The pet must be carried 30 feet. You must INDIVIDUALLY ROLL seperate dice rolls as you goad the pet by dragging it along its reins. The dice you roll for it is the distance it travels. For example, if you roll a goat, you get to roll separate dice rolls of 1d8 until you cumulatively get 30 feet. If you roll a 1 at any point the pet will run away! The only way to get it back is if you have the basilisk eye item, that will lock it into place. gaia_smilies/icon_star.gif If you and your team successfully defeat it, you get paid a old saddle. It is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list

The eye seemed like it would be helpful this time around, or so Andrew informed her... after hearing it from some of the villagers it seemed. How it would, the ghoul had to wonder but how many things did actually understand? (Sometimes it was frustrating, but that emotion was so fleeting with her).
Rounding upon the stables again, Olivia first looked upward to see if there was a hint of rain this time. But no, the skies seemed clear this time. Actually, much clearer than when they had first entered the village. Interesting.
"Oh, the basilisk is still here." The ghoul smiled. Yes, she would chose it again!

And there is the same dumb spider. Andrew marched over. "You aren't getting away this time."Weird the same animals were still here. Weird.

Right off the bat, the serpent didn't seem to want to move with her on it. In fact it seemed to want to run away again! Olivia lets out a frustrated sound then remembered the eyeball that she and Andrew had retrieved.
She wasn't exactly sure how it worked, but it did. There the basilisk stayed, almost entranced but at least not completely running away.

Andrew's spider tried to skitter off in the same direction as the basilisk. "Nope you are coming here."Olivia pulled out her eye and that reminded him he could do the same. "Sit, stay." as if it would listen to him.

Happy that the snake didn't seem like it was going to be mean and run away again, Olivia climbed back onto its awkward set saddle.
This time it moved, back to the speeds she was used to. Yay!

Wait was she riding it? Were they supposed to actually ride these things? Andrew had never ridden a mini before. He just pulled it instead. "Are you actually sitting on that?" 6/30

It seemed big enough (only about a foot bigger than her, really) and didn't seem to mind, still went on. "Are we not supposed to?" Olivia asked.

"I don't know..... I guess it's big enough." but who ever heard of riding a mini? Creeple sure, but minis? Andrew continues tugging his out of pure stubbornness. Beside he was pretty sure spiders were not rideable. 8/30

Apparently riding it would only go so far, as the snake finally buckled a little. Olivia decided to be nice and get off it.

"I don't think it wanted me to stay on," Maybe it saw that Andrew wasn't riding his and thought it unfair. She might have.
At least it was still moving when she pulled it, though.

"Maybe...." Andrew didn't know. he though she looked more comfortable up there. Then again he imagioned the beast would be cold from her sitting on it. An interesting thought.... he slowed down and looked at his feet. The spider tried to stop. "Hey no keep moving we are like half way there."16/30

It might have been cold, she didn't ask. Nor did she think to and probably wasn't. She didn't mind walking the creature to their destination as it was, happily did so even with the slight irritations that seemed to creep up (that she smashed back down).
The snake seemed to be going along with her with no problem.

Andre didn't bother to hide his irritation. He just wanted the spider to move. Which it did with much prodding. Lots of prodding. Andrew in fact had to pick up a stick and herding spiders was a lot like herding cats. "Do these things move any faster?"20/30
