[Quest 3: ] Stop the sand whale! (Click spoiler for mechanics) ** QUEST UNLOCKED **
A sand whale has been spotted nearing the village sand harbour!. These creatures are extremely unfriendly and have been known to swallow entire buildings. Ring the gong, fire bombs, throw ballistas, do what you can to stop the sand whale!
- The sand whale has 200/200 HP. When it hits 150 HP it will leave and swim away.
- At the start of the battle roll 1d6. This is the amount of ballista shots your character gets. Every time you use a ballista shot, you do a perfect 10 HP damage.
- The sand whale does an automatic -1 damage to you every time you attack the sand whale.
- If you run out of ballista shots, roll 1d6 again to gather more. However, each time you gather more the sand whale hits you for -5 damage!
If you thwart the sand whale it drops a whale fin, it is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list

Micail had finally managed to find something to eat. After searching for what seemed like days, well to the hungry Micail it seemed like days. In fact it had only been a few hours since he had last eaten. When he had discovered the little food shop he had practically eaten his fill. Simple to say that was a lot. He was just finishing up when he heard the sound of some kind of alarm. His ears perked up as the sound became louder. It was clear something was going on and Micail aimed to find out what. Finished with his grub, he made his way in the direction of the warning signal. He found his way to the harbor. There were others running around freaking out and some trying to stop... something. He quickly managed to find someone who knew what was going on. Apparently there was some kind of sand whale heading their way and everyone was trying to stop it from getting there. Micail was quickly put to work in trying to stop the creature.

Micail quickly hopped onto one of the ballistas after managing to pick up five shots. He then loaded one of the shots and started shooting. a direct hit. He managed to hit the whale as it passed by. Of course when he did, he felt something hit him hard. It didn't do much damage but it was enough to annoy. He quickly reloaded and tried again. Another direct hit. He continued on until he was empty. He quickly looked around for more shots but realized the whale was leaving. Blinking he watched as the whale quickly vanished out of sight.
"Huh... well that was strange."
He jumped down off the ballista and watched as the panic seemed to calm down. It was then that one of the villagers came up to him carrying something. When Micail examined it, it looked like some kind of fin. The next thing he knew it was in his hands. He blinked then looked up to find the villager walking away. Okay. That was strange. What exactly was he suppose to do with it? Was it some kind of trophy? It must be. It was the only thing he could think of. Shrugging he placed it in his pack along with everything else. Well it was something else to collect from this crazy trip.
