The village is running low on food and it is up to you to find some steaks and cook them for the village. You are granted exactly one portable spit though you will have to do the hunting yourself.
Right in the outskirts of the village are EVIL HAND TURKEYS. They have 10 HP each, which your character will have to defeat in normal battle combat style (attack with the dice mechanics of your current character until it hits 0 HP). They do -2 auto damage to you every time you hit it. When you have defeated a turkey, you can carve from it, a turkey steak.
Roll 1d10 to cook your steak. If you roll 1-5 your steak is raw, if you roll 6-8 your steak is perfect, if you roll 9-10 you steak is unedible. Only RAW and perfect steaks are allowed.
gaia_smilies/icon_star.gif If you acquire a perfect steak, it is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list.

These villagers were really demanding. They handed him a spit and told him to go out and hunt turkeys. Why? Why did he need to hunt Turkey? Andrew did not normally hunt the things he ate. Usually they were brought to him, preferably already cooked. At least he had a spit to put it on. Still first he had to find them. His noes crinkled when he spotted the wild hand turkeys. "Seriously, they want me to kill it?" the turkeys looked gross. well they had wings but they just.... ugh. why? Why him. Andrew walked over and tried to decide which one to attack. His stomach growled at him. Ok he defiantly needed something to eat. Still this hunting on his own stuff was just cruel and unusual. (Ok supposedly it was for the village he was doing this but if they thought he wasn't going to eat some they were wrong.)

After the last incident with pushing the stupid rock up the stupid hill in the stupid volcanic cave and burning his stupid self, Xavier was essentially through with being in the village - and he had hardly been there for any great length of time at all. At the very least, one small (tiny) consolation that he could hold onto was that he had yet to actually run into Hel, and maybe, just maybe, the ghoul wasn't here.
(Though he could have sworn he'd heard her mad laughter cackling from elsewhere.)
The villagers and their surly, mistrustful altogether unpleasant attitudes were not helping things. Xavier had already run into little mishaps with them, and he'd tried to skitter off in a different direction, but it seemed like he was simply doomed to face things and people he didn't want to. He found himself, most unfortunately, dragged into a throng of people, handed something that resembled a meat cooker, and shoved out into the wild to...do what exactly?
He had no idea. But at the very least, there seemed to be someone else in a similar predicament, someone who looked like he was not one of the villagers, but in fact, one of the Halloween students as well. Xavier shuffled towards him, his expression tentative.
"Erm," he said awkwardly, glancing at the spit and then back up at the boil again - and then at the turkeys, which made him cringe.
"What, erm - what are we supposed to be doing here, exactly?"

Oh he was not the only student being required to hunt for himself. Though it looked like this one didn't pick up on the explanation. "Uhh.... hunting Turkeys I guess..." Andrew picked a big looking turkey and light up a hand, tossing a fireball at it causally. The turkey in rage came up and pecked at his foot. "Hey! Sit still you dumb thing. I'm going to cook you." Never mind that Andrew's idea of cooking seemed to include before the turkey was actually dead. "Come here and help me wrangle this thing." Andrew grumped, not happy at all. he just wanted it to sit still and do what he wanted. boss 7 hp Andrew: 48 damage: 3

"Never mind I got this." Andrew charred his turkey. It might be various levels of cooked already. And it was dead, very very dead. No doubt about that.
"I think it might already be cooked a little." he laughed just a bit nervously. The smoke rose off the turkey and Andrew started to pluck it. Because who wanted to eat charred feathers? Not him that was for sure. It didn't matter if things were a little out of order. Besides, even if he slightly cooked the turkey a little accidentally, it wasn't really done. Just started.
And Jack was he hungry. The scratches were almost worth food at this point. He did not do well hungry. He was a city boil, things like hunting your own food were way out of the norm.
It twitched a bit as he defeathered it but Andrew smacked it down and held it. "Stay dead." he grumbled at the turkey.

Andrew didn't really see a point in cooking the turkey at this point. He could cook it more when he needed, he did pick of the charred before for now though. yum.
