There's word here of some oversized minipets that need your help wrangling them to the stables. It's up to you to try your best! If you get a few back in, you might even be rewarded for your time!
Step 1: Go out and find the pet. Out in the wide open fog, where there is only fog and then fog, there are sometimes the shapes of minipets. Roll 1d6 to see what you have to wrangle. All apex pets are 6 feet in height.
1. A basilisk - 1d6
2. A goat - 1d8
3. A wolf - 1d10
4. A spider -1d6
5. A tiger - 1d8
6. Turtle - 1d4
The pet must be carried 30 feet. You must INDIVIDUALLY ROLL seperate dice rolls as you goad the pet by dragging it along its reins. The dice you roll for it is the distance it travels. For example, if you roll a goat, you get to roll separate dice rolls of 1d8 until you cumulatively get 30 feet.
If you roll a 1 at any point the pet will run away! The only way to get it back is if you have the basilisk eye item, that will lock it into place.
gaia_smilies/icon_star.gif If you and your team successfully defeat it, you get paid a old saddle. It is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list

Uru was all for wrangling in some minipets, especially oversized ones. He was awed at them as he walked over to the stables where they roamed freely. If only they had gotten this big back at the academy, he would be a happy demon at that. Taking off his jacket and folding it neatly, he hoped over the fence to where the villagers were talking.
"Alright, just gotta get one of these guys back into the stable. Sounds easy enough."
Perhaps not, but it would be a good deal of fun. At least for the demon.

6. Turtle - 1d4
A turtle. The biggest and slowest of the bunch. Why he had chose it, he wasn't sure. Why he was grinning? He knew why. Cracking his knuckles, he stalked toward the oblivious minipet.

Wandering around the fog, he reached out with outstretched hands and opened eyes. It was difficult to see what was around him. His hand touched upon a surface which elated him. Until he felt the object more. There were no fur and no scales... Whatever it was was certainly bigger than he had anticipated. Whatever he was touching was alive though - it was moving slowly around. He knelt down as he side his hand down he side of the creature's side until his fingertips touched ridges then an edge.
"A turtle?" He asked aloud, not to anyone in particular as he stood beside the thing. It was definitely a shelled animal and it was definitely large. It was certainly not going anywhere fast... Rolling up his sleeves, Uru began working on moving it in the direction of the corral.

They were making progress for what it was worth. The demon nudged it along easily enough. It wasn't making much of an effort to go in a different direction as it continued on its path toward the stables. The fog was thick, the turtle probably wasn't even aware it was going in the direction of its inevitable confines...

Basilisk's eye!
The turtle suddenly stopped, swaying its head through the mist. Uru's eyes shot up, noting the sudden change in intention. It was trying to change direction! Luckily, it was a turtle, so it wasn't going anywhere fast enough. Pulling the scare all sized eye from his pack, he used the Basilisk's eye to pause the turtle in its steps before readjusting it.

Lifting the shoulder briefly, he only got four steps before he had to put it down again when the effects of the eye wore off. He may be able to lift weights easily, but those had grips and were made to fit into his hands. This was a jacking turtle that was his size! Grumbling to himself he glared at the back of the reptile's shell. Who keeps these things around anyway?...

The ground underneath him pushed in as he tried to get he turtle to move faster. He was usually patient but this was ridiculously slow. Slower than a snail's pace and that was saying something. If he could find a snack or something to entice this thing to move faster, he would. However, if he left... The turtle might get away from him. He got it this far, he could almost see the stables from through the mist.

"Half way there, turtle. Move it." He growled as he dropped it down another four steps. He was losing his patience and he was baring his teeth. The turtle could literally care less as it inched forward.

Attempting to rush the last leg of the task, Uru picked up the turtle and tried to run toward the stable doors. However, he only managed four good steps before he had to place the creature down. The ranch handlers laughed and cheered at him as they watched from the side lines. If they had time to stand around... They could.... Tch...
