Born to a female Aburame and a male Kamizuru, Yda’s life has been complicated to say the least. While most like to think of her life as some sort of Romeo Juliet concept, it was really a lot less dramatic. Growing up, Yda’s mother told her stories all the time of how her father had tricked her into believing he was the man of her dreams, wining and dining her and things of the sort, but in reality, he was just trying to get close to the Aburame compound so that he slip in and take out the clan leader. However, before he realized it, Yda’s mother was pregnant with his child. Not wanting to be separated from his child, Yda’s father gave up on his resentment towards the Aburame and decided to raise and train Yda in the ways of the Kamizuru clan. By the time she was seven she was easily ability to manipulate both bees and beetles at the same time. Both of parents knew that she could very well be the link that unites the two clans, the only thing that she needed to do now was prove her worth to both sides. Deciding that this is what she wanted to do with her life, Yda became a shinobi to sharpen her skills with both of the clans.
