Finished with the first task she'd assisted in, Verusha resumed walking around again, and seeing what she could. Though she was starting to miss that awesome sight from the sky... Maybe she could pop back for another ride later.
The more she looked around though, the more things started to come to light. There was a severe lack of food. Maybe that was another contributor to why the villagers were so against the presence of Verusha and the other visitors. Understandably so. If food was so scarce, having additional mouths to feed would be quite the bother.
With some eves dropping and further looking around, the ghoul managed to find out about some fine game that was just on the outskirts of town. Maybe if she could provide the towns people with more food they might come around, maybe even warm up to her, so she could find out more about the rad place. Grinning down at Cannon she started on her way, "ready for some hunting, pal?"

Reaching the destination, it didn't take the reaper very long to find the game in question. Grazing about were a handful of hand turkeys. They looked a bit... Crazed in the eyes. Stepping more lightly to approach with at least a touch of caution, Verusha glances to Cannon again with a sly expression, "lets round up some birds, big guy." She murmured to the few hound who gave a bold to the flames licking along his back, making them peak higher and more wildly.

The turkeys were quite agile, surprisigy so. The firey hound raced after one, keeping hot on its heels, sharp fangs bares and ready to clamp down. But each snap was avoided, the gobbling and haggling of the turkey matching the frantic movements it gave to escape.

Cannon managed to n** at that flared tail the bird sported, casing the avian to screech in surprise. Snapping its head around, the turkey pecked firmly at the hounds skull, causing him to wince, and give an opening for the turkey to give a pecking at Verushas feet as well.

Pulling out the spit that'd been given to her, and setting it up, Verusha requested some assistance getting it started from Cannon, who used his fire to ignite it. Putting up the turkey, the ghoul began to rotate it slowly to try and get the perfect roast.... but ended up taking it off a bit too early... leaving it rather raw.
Well... hopefully someone would like it... With a shrug, and a smirk aimed at Cannon, she headed back for the town to present her catch and prize.
