Ever since she found out her girlfriend had children she wasn't sure how to feel. She didn't ask for them with someone else, which was a relief, but what did that make the girls to her? She wasn't there mother, did that make her their step mother? Or was she nothing since her and Tahigwa weren't married? It was all very confusing, and the fact that she hadn't really met the girls yet worried her even more. Sure they had met briefly, but it wasn't like she knew them or they really knew her. What if they hated her? What would that do to her and Tahigwa's relationship?
"Oh why did I have to go and fall into that coma..." She knew it wasn't her fault, but it had messed up so many things for her. She walked through the forest, picking fruit for dinner. Her plan was to surprise her girlfriend with food already made and maybe some candles? It would be cute. She already had the meat at home, so all she needed was some fruit.

Bouncing along Zahra was heading toward a spot that she knew well, one that was filled with colorful flowers and fruit, which she planned on collecting She was going to see about gathering a bit of both, mixing up a good batch of dye, and going about dyeing her little triplet cousins various colors. She was sure that her uncles would love it! At least she'd get a kick out of it she thought to herself, giving a bit of a chuckle, before she looked around, trying to spot the big, moss covered tree that was the start of her favorite spot. It took a moment but she was able to spot it... though along with that she spotted someone else, someone interesting. Ah! It was Ilyra! It had been some time since she'd seen the woman last, not since the very failed festival on the Chibale Isles. Giving a thoughtful sound she sent to hopping down from her perch in the trees, heading toward the woman, "Ilyra-ra!" She called out, as per usual giving out a random nickname to the woman as she approached. Best that she announced herself before getting too close, it would keep her from getting hit with the woman's weapon. Last thing she wanted to do on such a fun and peaceful day was to get herself wounded by one of her fellow sisters, especially when it was one that she had actually seen eye to eye with instead of one of the crazy one.

Ilyra froze at the sound of her name, or rather a version of her name. She looked forward to spot Zahra coming her way. She smiled. It seemed as if Aisha had heard her thoughts and sent Zahra for her to get to know better. "Hello there Zahra." she said to the younger woman. "How are you doing today?" she asked.
She slung the bag she had been carrying across her back. She didn't know if she should let Zahra know what she was doing. Was she to be trusted or would she run off and tell her mother of Ilyra's plans? Ilyra decided to not tell her yet, but if she felt like she was trust worthy she would let Zahra in on her plan later.

Giving a bright smile, her antennae twitching a little out of sync from each other, the girl said, "Doing pretty great! I was thinking that today I am going to dye my cute little cousins either blue or purple! FirstI have to gather up the flowers and fruit needed to do so though." She seemed to be pretty excited about that idea, "I think that purple will look best! I could just be saying that out of biased though since purple is obviously the best color." She patted a hand against the purple shell necklace that she was wearing. Yeah, it would have to be purple! Tilting her head to one side she asked, "What about you? What are you up to today Rara? If you're looking for Mom she's around, training or hunting, maybe? She's pretty serious about that sort of stuff." Her mother was far more serious Zahra had ever been. There was a part of the prentice that knew she should shape up a bit, get more serious, but after the war, which had been too serious she just didn't want to. Maybe after a bit of time had passed then she would be a bit more ready to settle down? The banishment of the extremists gave her a reprieve and allowed her to just enjoy herself... which was why she was out to gather the ingredients needed to cause trouble.

Her cute little cousins? She honestly wasn't sure which cousins that Zahra was talking about. She knew that Tahigwa had a large family, and that her brother had children, but she was sure that there were many more cousins that Zahra could have. Plus from what she knew Yaholo's children wouldn't be little anymore. This was just another thing the coma had taken from her. "Dye their skin or their hair?" she asked. Either way was amusing honestly. Just the thought of purple younglings was amusing. "It is a pretty color." she agreed. Red was her personal favorite, but purple was nice also. Especially a soft purple.
When Zahra asked what she was doing she was again conflicted if she should tell the girl or not. "Yes your mother does train hard, I'm surprised you are allowed to not be practicing all that much." she laughed. "However I'm actually trying not to run into your mother. Want to surprise her tonight."

Zahra gave a half shrug, "Depends on what one we are talking about. For Lixes, definitely his hair since its a rather bright blond color. If we are talking Drexl then his skin since he's pale like Uncle Rilind is. Now the difficult ones are Samoset, Kennet, and Inali since they have dark hair and skin, meaning a lot more dye is needed to make it noticeable." Her tone of voice said that she spoke from experience, which was true, with Joweese's help they'd dye Sam and all of his things pink once. A day for the record books to be sure! She'd bet everything she owned that even to this day Sam probably hated the color pink after being that color for so long. Grinning from ear to ear Zahra said, "Well, I plan to buckle down soon... ish. I mean I'm planning a trip to the Chibale Isles and everything so I can prepare to become a Blade. I jsut want to have a bit of fun first now that things are peaceful again." For the time being at least. There was no promises about how long that peace would last but Zahra wanted to hope for the best and enjoy her free time. Especially if free time involved getting into trouble and pulling pranks on people. Something that it almost sounded like Ilyra was up to. Giving a thoughtful sound she had to ask, "Suprise her in a nice, happy sort of way, or surprise as in jumping out from behind something in the attempt to make Mom yelp?" Either way would probably be interesting to get a peek at, though Zahra would prefer the latter herself. There was just something so satisfying about startling something enough to make them make a squeak or yelp in response.

Oh she meant all of them! Ilyra laughed in her head. With such a big family she was sure that Zahra would have to pay some attention to each of her cousins to prevent any of the others from becoming jealous. For a seconds Ilyra wondered if all of Zahra's cousins were her nieces and nephews? But no, her and Tahigwa were just dating currently so they were nothing but friends to Ilyra. "It seems that you have your work cut out for you then, collecting and gathering all of the things necessary to dye each and every one of them." she wondered what weapon Zahra would take. She was a pureblood, so she would have to take one of the Alkidike weapons, but from the sounds of it she would have made a good inventor.
She nodded knowingly. "Yes, since we aren't fighting anyone it's good to be able to relax. As long as you are prepared should war be upon us it's all good." the problem was that war seemed to be something that sprung up around them more often then ever before. She hoped that Zahra would become a blade sooner rather then later, at least so she would be able to protect herself.
She shook her head with a laugh. "Both? Make her yelp and then give her something sweet. It's the best of both worlds."
