Na'ima still didn't like this village, she liked it even less now that she had lost track of both her sister and Wrath. Wonderful. Where were the other horsemen she had seen? Hm, this was becoming bothersome. She only stopped when a villager got her attention again, though she was justifiably wary until they simply explained they needed assistance checking for signs of a virus on their minipets. And they confirmed she could keep her clothes on. A delicate brow raised, her hand coming up to rub her chin. "I suppose..."

There was less of an opinion about the village from Waits, given he had only stepped within the town itself. Well, it did seem that losing things was very easy. First some of his bugs and now it seemed that the Death Priestess he had only met moments before had gone out of sight. Interesting. But he didn't seem all too bothered as he ventured forward.
He would find himself in the vicinity of one of his own clan soon enough, anyways, easily identifiable with the attire and exposed bone on her persons. She seemed to be conversing with what he could only guess as someone that belonged to the town, and the topic he overheard brought him instantly along side them.
"One of ours?" He actually sounded a bit excited, even his wings vibrated. A virus, here, how novel!

A voice caught her attention and Na'ima looked up, eyes widening slightly. "Oh, Lurks. What a surprise to see you it has been--" Wait. This wasn't Lurks. She frowned, eyes narrowing slightly with her confusion. Who..was this? "You're not Lurks.." Oh. Right. He had asked a question! Shaking her head, Na'ima gestured ahead of them. "Not likely, I have never been here myself and I have never heard of anyone going to a place...like this.." She pulled part of her longer veil over the veil that covered her face, frowning again. "I recently fended off a small basilisk that looked to be tainted by..Insanity...so perhaps that is what they are referring to...would you like to join me?"

This mistake had happened recently, a few times even now it seemed. Perhaps it would happen a little more frequently now that they were in the tower. Lurks was more social than he was at times. "No." He blinked, slowly, unfazed. "It seems you have met my sibling then. I am Something That Waits." Perhaps he would gain a name in return for providing his own.
After she answered his question perhaps. His gaze followed her gesture and then towards their surroundings. Place like this. Yes, it did seem a little odd. And now they had a virus with their small little pets. But not theirs. It was a little disappointing, would have been easier to track down the inventor then. But if it was something new...
"Insanity?" His interests perked again, making a mental note to perhaps find the location of the snake creature in question. Later. For now, there seemed to be a task already at hand that seemed worthy of investigation. "Yes, I would."

Na'ima chuckled. "I see! My apologies for the mistake." It seemed this Waits was much more..relaxed than his brother. Lurks was entertaining, but Waits was refreshing in comparison. It was a blessing. It was a good thing when he said he would join her. It had been some time since Na'ima had spent time with Famine horsemen outside of her little circle of trusted horsemen. Perhaps this would prove to be enlightening, they could maybe find a new virus to use to their advantage. Wouldn't that be fun? "Good, let us be off." Na'ima turned to make her way through the village. It wasn't long before she kicked something that made an unhappy squeaking sound. She blinked, looking down at the tiny little minipet at her feet. "...Well..I suppose this will do..."

This was where having his brother would have been most handy. Lurks was always so good at retrieving things, was always more than happy to dig, search and take. Somehow always finding what Waits would have in mind, and sometimes not. Usually it didn't matter. But now he was going to have to do it himself. Manual labor. Walking. His shoulders slouched as he lagged behind the female clansmen. But a new virus....
And of course he had to be particular about the specimen he wanted to find. There had already been a few small creatures that passed under toe, but none of them seemed good enough. Too common, didn't look sick enough, too fast for him to catch. Most of them were too fast for him to catch, especially when he decided to just stand in the middle of the road and peered at some options.
No. No. Not that one.
A trap would have been ideal to build, maybe something large so he could catch a number of minipets and have some options but when Waits peered over to where the mare was, he noticed she had already captured something. This didn't leave him much time. A simple plan of attack then. Perhaps he shouldn't be that particular. Even if he wanted to be.
With a sigh he peered about, waiting for the first sign of life that grew near him. A shadow appeared not too far from him, loitering in what appeared to be a pile of litter. Perhaps it had also been on the hunt as he was but it seemed to be in a catchable position. Objects were close to it, means to it. Waits stalked close, only slow because of his nature. It didn't notice him until it was too late, until he had picked up a nearby object and smashed it over its head. Startling it enough to grab at the nape of its neck but not injuring it enough to prevent it from sputtering and hissing in his grasp.
It was held at arm's length as tightly as he could manage.

Na'ima looked to Waits when she heard a commotion. Ah, he had caught something. A very..feisty something. It made her grateful for the docile little thing in her arms, even if it did smell... bad. It was very unappealing. Ah, well, at least it wasn't trying to bite her. She looked down at it, turning it this way and that and inspecting it in whatever manner she could determine. It looked..fine. Na'ima turned to the villager, holding the minipet out. "It is fine, I see no signs of a virus." She sounded disappointed. The villager, worried of her tone, gave a wary smile and a slight thumbs up while slowly backing away. She turned to waits, frowning. "Did you find anything?" Quote: Once they have caught one, they need to carefully examine it to make sure it has no signs of the virus (the symptoms are possibly purple, evil looking, very vicious) then they can let it go. If however, it is purple or shows possible signs of the virus, they should hand it in to the villager. Roll 1d4 to see what the villager gives you for your time. 1. You get nothing. They take the pet and go away. 2. You get a halfhearted thumbs up. 3. The pet bites you as you near away from it! Ouch! Add +2 to your miasma meter. 4. The villager looks at you. He says "they key to the door is 8888." He leaves.
