I-it's so shiny!
STARTS: Wednesday, August 19th (after first prompt) ENDS: Sunday, August 23rd 11:59PM CST
You've been hearing weird things buzzing around the cultural festival. Villager keep muttering something weird about the booth tender for the Egyptian booth. She seemed, off, so you thought you would investigate. When she notices you poking your nose around she pulls you aside and stares at you with serious eyes. You're scared thinking she might turn you in for stealing- when you haven't stolen a thing!
"You know don't you?" she hisses under her breath, glancing over her shoulder, you think checking her booth to be sure no one touches the stuff 'for paying customers only'. When you give her a confused face she slowly brushes some of the sand away from her booth and you see something sparkle from under it- gold! Was she hiding gold at her booth!?
"It's only a few of the pieces I have found," she explains. "There is more, but I need help. If you're wanting to get your hands on some of it then meet me here after the festival, alright?"

Daily CYOA
This will be a C(create)Y(your)O(own)A(adventure) game with daily prompts to keep it flowing! What is a CYOA you ask? Basically, I will be giving you daily prompts that you have to read and have your character react to in RP. Any Villager you own (that has been approved) is allowed to join. If you don't have any Villagers feel free to make someone up! Just be sure to give us a quick description of them for others to be able to play along with. These prompts might be once daily which means you can post once to reply or keep the RP going with the others involved to really get the story filled in! Just be sure to get your Prompt reply post in before the end of the day or else it wont be counted!
Overview
~ Reply to daily prompts ~ Have your reply done by the end of the day (11:59PM CST) ~ Roleplay with others involved ~ Have fun creating your own story!
The Prizes
Each prompt has a set number of points attached to them. So the way you choose to reply to it gives you points. You will also be given points based on the creativity of your posts and how much you are posting (if you decide to reply to others in the thread rather than just reply to the prompt). The one with the most points in the end wins the lovely above!
~ First place gets the lovely above and 500 bells ~ 500 bells will be rewarded to those who hit a 1,000 word count ~ 300 bells will be rewarded to those who hit a 500 word count ~ 100 bells will be rewarded to anyone else who participates
The Rules ~ Any prompt reply posts that are posted after the scheduled time will not be accepted. ~ You can change your prompt post as many times as you want until the day ends. If you change it again after that you could be disqualified. So, be sure to have your answer set in stone before that day ends. ~ Be sure to post your prompt choice in a bright color/big size or someway for us to know it was your prompt post. Only do this on this post- your other reply posts for the day can look normal! ~ Please do not delete posts! ~ If you replied to someone and they haven't replied back by the time the next prompt comes around don't wait on them! Especially don't bother the heck outta them about it. This is for fun! ~ Again, don't bother people to post! There is no problem with gently letting them know you replied, but bothering someone about it could have you removed. If you're that impatient then post again without their reply. ~ Staffers are welcome to play as well! Just realize they don't know the game so don't wait for them to post to copy! Play to the character you're using and you'll have a better chance at winning!

EXAMPLE PROMPT POST
1. Dance like a maniac
Starla knew that if she did not complete her task to its fullest, then she would never be crowned queen of this party. She just had to bust the best move anyone has ever seen! With determination in her eye she stalked her way onto the dance floor. She smirked to herself as the other Villagers cleared the way for her and scuttled off the floor to make room for what was about to go down.
She pointed at the DJ and immediately the most epic tune filled her ears. She glanced around the room making sure to make eye contact with every single Villager there before preparing herself mentally and physically for the dance off she was about to lay down...
Then hopefully someone else will post a prompt reply that perhaps interacts with yours. You're then welcome to reply to that post like a normal post with no prompt answer up top. Staffers are also welcome to post, but realize they don't know the answers so don't rely on them! Make your own decisions and have fun!

Though the booth tender weirded you out with your first meeting, you still can't help be curious about the gold pieces she showed you. They were unlike anything you had seen before! So you waited till the crowds began to thin and the lights of the festival shut off for the evening. Everything was completely still when you slipped between booths making your way back towards the Egypt booth.
You were shocked when others began to appear around the booth as well. Guess you weren't the only one she recruited! A soft buzzing of conversation started as others asked if they too had been called here for the same reason. Guess you were.
Finally the booth tender appeared though no one saw her coming. She cleared her throat to grab everyone's attention and a hush came over everyone. "Thank you for answering my call." she purred, looking very pleased at the turnout. "You will be richly rewarded."
"I need help. Like I said, recover more of these gold pieces for me. Good luck." she began to take a step back as you furrowed your eyebrows. That was it? Where were they suppose to find-
Suddenly the ground under you began to shake. You looked down to see sand from the booth swirling separately before slowly coming together to make a large whirl pool of sand. It's sucking you towards it, sand crawling up to your ankles in an attempt to hold you down.
PROMPT: 1. Run 2. Fight it off 3. Dive head first into the swirling sand 4. Stand frozen (out of fear, uncertainty, whatever emotion you feel)

3. Dive head first into the swirling sand Katida Purrrrr watched with interest as this lady spoke rather hushed to the crowd of people she had decided to gather back at her booth. It was going to be an interesting night judging by the different people she decided to gather. Maybe she saw something in each of them that would help to find her gold? Or maybe she was just paranoid and thought that they each had seen what they didn't. Much like she had done with Katida. She hadn't known, or seen, that there was gold at her booth. But here she was none the less! Ready to try and help any way that she possibly can.
As the lady finished speaking, the sand all around started to move. That's strange... She thought to herself, but she didn't really think anything of it until it opened up into a swirling pool of sand! "I guess it's now or never!" Katida jumped headlong into the swirling pool of sand, wondering very much what she might see on the other side.

3. Dive head first into the swirling sand! Harvey kicked a can as he strolled up to the crazy gold booth with weird symbols. His gold eyes gazed about in dulled excitement. Nothing so far had been too rushing for this thrill seeker, his blood laid un-impressed in his veins. Yet he had been called here so something had to go down right?! RIGHT?! Blinking at the cat as she appeared, speaking in a soft yet mystical tone, the dog tilted his head and scratched at an ear. It seemed she had called many others to her booth as well. Dang, did he have to share his excitement with these animals too? Or maybe it was one big group challenge with massive battles and stunts and tricks?! Harvey could only hope so! And yet...when she spoke... he felt little thrill at all. "Man..." he huffed, his ears drooping a bit as she mentioned something about finding gold then disappeared as abruptly as she came. With a soft whine, Harvey glanced about at the confused crowd. Where the heck were they supposed to even find these gold piec---- WOAH SWEET KIBBLE!!!! "ITS MOVING!!" Harvey woofed loudly, eyes concentrated on the ground as it slowly began to move beneath his paws. In what seemed like no time at all, the sand had formed into a swirling vortext beneath him, pulling him inwards. Now this.....THIS WAS EXCITING! "Oh man, ohmanohmanohman! I've been waiting for something like this, Yipppeeee!!!" he screeched. Wasting no time Harvey trudged forward as best he could (what with also being pulled in by the sands) and dove head first into the swirling pit.

The swirling sand grows wider and wider, sucking in all of those who attempt to flee. Others who were not standing in the sand were snatched up by a giant sand hand that materialized out of the mouth of the swirling vortex. The pair that dove right in were not touched, but instead found themselves flopping into a bed of sand below.
The hole above them sealed up as soon as everyone had entered. It grew dark, but for a single torch on the wall to their right. Hills of sand filled the room with no door in sight. There was just walls of stone and sand. Lots and lots of sand. Was this stuff imported of what? You've never seen so much sand before!
It looked like this was the end. Seems as though the cat had tricked everyone and now they were going to die with strangers in a sand filled room. Man, what a way to go! There were some who were hysteric and others who had begun to dig in the sand for an escape.
PROMPT: 1. Dig in the sand too! 2. Oooo fire! 3. Try climbing the walls 4. Sit and cry hysterically! You're not ready to die!

2. Oooo fire! Katida looked around as she flopped into the sand below the pit, looking up as it closed in on them all. It was certainly strange that the sands would bother to end up closing really when there was no way any of them were going to be able to climb back up to the hole. Looking around a bit more, she noticed very few things in the cavern of sand. She even took notice of a rather pink dog who had jumped headlong into the pit right after her. He was brave indeed! There were, of course, the other animals who had been sucked down, but there also seemed to be some light...
Slowly Katida walked over to it. It would be nice to have something to help light the way down here! As she got closer it came into view much better. It was a torch. That would certainly be a handy thing indeed! Without thinking, she reached out a clawed paw and pulled on it.

2. Oooo fire! Harvey could feel himself slip between the sands and land in a bed of sand below, several other bodies 'thumping' down into the pile beside him. Giggling madly, he flailed his arms and legs a bit before going through the motions of making a sand angel. "Wooo! What a rush!" he grinned, finally opening his eyes to take in the sights around him. Or he tried anyways. "Man why's it so dang dark! OOOH IS THIS A NIGHT ADVENTURE?!" he yipped, letting himself roll sideways off the dune. Once he had managed to land at the bottom of the pile, Harvey trailed his gaze all along the walls until he spotted a flicker of light at the other end. Fire! "Pretty...." he gazed wide eyed at the yellow and orange flickering flames, skiddling over to investigate further. That's when he noticed the cat also heading towards the torch. "Haiyo! Adventure time too?" he grinned, watching as she reached out a claw to pull on it and waited with wide eyes and baited breath at what would happen next.

Who knows who did it. About the time the pair were reaching for the torch light, others were climbing walls, and others still were digging in the sand. Either way, someone must have done something right because a loud CLICK resounded through the room and a rumbling started beneath their feet. Some backed away to the walls and others began to frantically attempt to climb them.
A trickle of sand began to pour from the ceiling, slowly rushing faster and fast till the room started to fill with it. It swept up everyone in its path and pushed them up towards the ceiling. Sobbing and yelling bounced off the walls as Villager's heads neared the ceiling. Someone cried out about not being ready to die while someone else instructed someone to keep checking for secret levers of sorts.
There was a hairline of space between the sand and ceiling when another loud CLICK sounded. The sand then changed course as a wall fell away. The sand and Villagers tumbled out of the small room and into a much larger area. Thankfully the only sand in this room was that rushing from the one they had just been in. Instead, this room was lined with stone from the top down. Curiously enough it looked like a sort of burial place with a small alter and some old looking stone caskets, but why such a large room for such a small group of dead people?
Villagers stood and dusted themselves off. Some headed immediately to look over the stone caskets while others attempted back the way they came.
PROMPT: 1. Explore the room! 2. Dig a way out! 3. I want in that casket! 4. More crying! It's what you do best!

3. I want in that casket! Harvey's ears perked to the sound of a click, a grin spreading over his face. However when the sands began to rocket not only himself but everyone else closer towards the ceiling, the pink dog couldn't help but wonder what really he had gotten himself into. Sure it was fun, yeah, it always was but there was also always that moment of.... 'oh crap is this my last thrill!?' Listening to the wailing of others, Harvey could only wait to see what would happen. If this was to be his end then he'd go out gloriously! The purpley pink dog posed a mighty pose as he rode the sand to the top, one arm outstretched into a curled fist. The hairs on his paws stood on end as he felt the ceiling come closer and closer, his knuckles now brushing against the top. And then suddenly...it stopped! He was being spirited back down and into another room by the looks of things! He wasn't going to die after all! "Awwman what a troll, had me going there a second!" he barked happily as he tumbled to a stop and glanced about the new room. So large. Much mysterious....wow. The only sound now escaping his lips was that of "OOOOOOOOOOOO MUMMIES!" as he toddled quickly over to a casket and began trying to pry off the lid.

Everyone seemed to shake off the event that happened to them and began to disperse around the room. Some were investigating the alter, others the casket, even those who had been sobbing in the sand just moments ago. There was just something intriguing about this place.
Someone must have done something right because another loud CLICK sounded, sending the cat that was climbing on the alter soaring off of it. At the same time the casket began to slowly slide open as a voice echoed off the walls, "Do you desire my treasures?" it asked.
Once the question had been posed gold coins, gems, and all sorts of shinnies began to pour out of the casket, walls, ceiling, from places you didn't realize were in the room. It began to fill the place, but not as alarming as the sand in the other room of course. Villagers were ooing and awing at the display. They had done it! They had found the treasure!
Now what were they suppose to do?
PROMPT: 1. Swim through the gold coins! Victory! 2. Start stuffing your pockets full of the stuff! 3. Fall down on your face in relief. You lived! 4. Find a way out!

1. Swim through the gold coins! Victory! Harvey had been pawing at the casket for what seemed like ages of no luck when suddenly another loud click reverberated off the walls and the lid slowly slid back. "WOAH!" he yipped, jumping back a bit, ears perked forward at the sound of a voice. "Hey wait a minute, aren't mummies supposed to be dead?" he huffed, casting a suspicious eye upon the casket. Or.....was it haunted? OH A HAUNTED CASKET! Rushing forward to pry the lid off further to see the creature below, Harvey was surprised to find treasure beyond belief spill out of the casket instead. And out of everything else in this room for that matter. "Man whats going on here?! I wanted mummies an dead things!" he pouted at first. At least until the treasure began to pile around his feet and soon enough was so bounteous that he could actually swim in it. "Then again...." he grinned to himself as he picked up a paw full of gold coins. "When else am I going to get an opportunity like this?!" he cackled to himself as he kicked back in the pile of fortunes. "I am a King! NO. A god!" he giggled more to himself, legs and arms flailing rather unceremoniously. Sure, he knew he probably should be stuffing some of these into his magical pockets for the cat lady...or heck even trying to find a way out at this point but. Well. Swimming in gold and jewels? That was a once in a life time thing he wasn't about to miss out on!!

FINISH
A wall rumbled and slid apart, a hunch back dog came limping in with a cane. He turned his bugging out eyes towards the group and grinned a toothless grin, "Well I'll be darned!" he exclaimed. "Y'all seemed tah have found me treasure!" he hooted and howled as he limped his way over to the piles.
"These chocolates are the craze of the town! Thought they'd be safe down here in dis cave. Ya gone and done proved me wrong though!" he shrugged and picked up a handful. "Suppos'n since y'all be so smart y'all can take a bucket full with ya." He motioned behind him where buckets stood lining the entrance of the doorway he just walked through. There also stood the booth tender looking rather confused at the situation. Guess she hadn't found out about her gold being chocolate either!
The old dog eyed Harvey and slapped an extra bucket into his arms, "There ya be, son. Ya were the cleverest of 'em all taking mah traps on like it was noth'n! So I suppos'n you can have a second help'n. Just... don't tell no one 'bout this kay? I need some time to hide it before more Villagers come a' run'n up in here. We got a deal?" -- With that the event is finished! Fea Line This beauty plus 500 bells is yours! Thanks for finishing out the game and giving me a good laugh XD ~Twilight...Angel~ For your participation I'd like to give you 300 bells! Thanks so much for playing!
